Chapter 48

Fabian is currently at his parents' house. He intended to tell his parents that he had proposed to Maura. Considering yesterday when proposing to Maura, he did not discuss it first with his parents.

"Papa's Tumben hasn't come home yet, Ma? Usually before maghrib is home." Fabian asked while accompanying Shanti to cook for their dinner. He did not help Shanti cook, but just sat down while exchanging messages with Maura through a chat application.

"Mom don't know, he said that afternoon there was a meeting." Answer Shanti who is currently grilling chicken fillet breast.

Fabian nodded his head while chuckling softly when he saw the photo Maura had just sent. A picture of Maura showing ugly faces.

Shanti looked back when she heard Fabian's laughter, she smiled. "What is a message from Maura? It's so good to see." Shanti asked which Deheman answered directly with Fabian. "Dian!" Call Shanti softly, she seems hesitant to say anything.

Fabian turned his eyes away from the phone he was holding and turned to look at Shanti who was behind him due to cooking. "What's up, Ma?" Fabian asked because he felt strange about his mother's voice.

"Hmmm..... Are you still in touch with Aurel?" Finally Shanti asked him too because he was so curious about Fabian who was still in contact with Aurel or not.

"Still." Fabian replied quickly and casually. He looked back at his phone. "Every week I call her to ask about Love. Love is now more chatty than ever." Fabian said with a small smile remembering a few days ago when making a video call with Kasih, the little boy spoke a lot, telling everything to Fabian.

Shanti smiled faintly hearing that, she who was about to finish preparing dinner looked back. "Did Maura know about you who was still in contact with Aurel because of Love?" Shanti asked, looking at Fabian.

Fabian raised his head again and looked at Shanti. He was silent for a while before finally shaking his head slowly. "He doesn't know yet. Maybe I'll tell you later." Fabian said doubtfully. She was afraid that if Maura found out, her lover would forbid her to reconnect with Aurel or Kasih. It had actually been a long time that he had intended to tell Maura, but he was still doubtful. It was not that Fabian still had feelings for his ex-wife, he just wanted to keep his promise not to forget Love, considering Love was his niece that he already considered to be his own son.

"Mama hope you tell him soon. Especially when Mama sees you guys are getting closer. Don't let Maura down, she's a good girl." Shanti gave Bryan some advice. He did not want his son to come back disappointed for a second time against women. Just enough Aurel, not for Maura.

Fabian nodded and smiled. "Good thanks, Ma." His words that seemed happy to get advice were also the attention of Shanti. Although her mother often scolded her, but she knew Shanti like that because she loved her.

Not long ago, Sandi looks to have gone home. He immediately joined for dinner after cleaning up.

Fabian just kept quiet, he was enjoying a dinner made by the mother. Moreover, chicken steak made by his mother is the most delicious, according to him. The proof is now that the food on the plate is only a quarter, almost exhausted.

"Bian's done eating. Bian wait in the living room. Someone wants Bian to talk to Papa Mama." Fabian said as he stood up from his seat. He breezed away after saying that to his parents.

"That's the kid's already like the host." Said Sandi who seemed to dislike Fabian's attitude just now. "What does he want to talk about? Did Bian tell Mama?" Ask the curious Sandi herself. He was afraid that Fabian would cause trouble again.

Shanti shook her head not knowing. "The Tian hasn't told me anything yet." Shanti replied because Fabian had not told her anything.

Now Sandi also Shanti has finished eating and joined Fabian in the family room. Both are ready to listen to what Fabian wants to talk to both of them. Whether it's good news or bad news, Sandi also Shanti is ready to accept it.

Fabian said that he was confused about what to call Rafa. Employees may be suitable considering Rafa does work there as a manager, not the owner of the company.

"Freely?" Shanti asked to make sure.

Fabian nodded in confirming. Previously it was just a false proposal, because the original Rafa only sent Bryan to Bali to lead and become a foreman in the construction process of Malibu Resort. "But the resort Bian will give to Maura as our wedding gift later." Fabian.

"Haw? Did you propose to Maura?" Ask Sandi and Shanti at the same time.

"Bian had proposed to Maura directly to both of his parents and Bian was accepted with them." Fabian said straight away without further ado. There was nothing he had to cover up anymore, his parents also had to know that he had now proposed to Maura and had been accepted.

"It's good that they accept your proposal. Papa also agreed. You have to take responsibility for your own actions." Timpal Sandi who was happy because finally Fabian can account for his actions. He thought Fabian had made it because he went home, apparently his son brought good news.

"Astaghfiullah!!" Maura was shocked when her phone suddenly rang there was an incoming call. He hurriedly saw who knew it was an incoming call from Fabian.

Maura smiled as Fabian contacted her. He cleared his throat a few times before finally answering the incoming call.

"Still remember you to call me." Said Maura who pretended to be upset, even though her lips displayed a thin smile because it was so happy that Fabian finally contacted her. It was fortunate that Fabian did not make a video call, so the man did not know that Maura was only pretending to be angry at this time.

"Sorry, yeah!! After talking to Mama Papa I came straight here. So don't have time to check your phone and call you."

"Why not just go in? Tired knows!!" Fabian laughed faintly at Maura's complaint. He opened the front door of the steering wheel and asked Maura to sit there.

"Bi!! You're nothing at all. Stand up!!" Maura felt uneasy as Fabian suddenly crouched down and massaged her legs.

"Silence and enjoy." Maura complied and kept silent while looking at Fabian from above. He smiled faintly at Fabian's treatment that looked so romantic in his eyes.

"I love you, Fabian." Maura said in her heart.

"Not that look at him, I know I'm handsome." Fabian said while looking at Maura. He also teased Maura with his eye movements as well as his eyebrows.

"What the hell, what a PD." Cibir Maura while throwing directions to hide her smile because she was caught staring at Fabian.

Fabian laughed and stood up. "Where are you going this weekend?"

Maura turned her head towards Fabian as the man asked her. "don't know. There is no schedule whatsoever." Answer Maura. "Why really? You want to take me on the road?" Maura asked with a smile.

Fabian nodded slowly. "Yes. I want to take you to Bandung."

"okay!! I'll clear the schedule for the weekend." Sahut Maura is fast because it is happy to be invited to Bandung. It has been a long time since he went on vacation to Bandung.

"Thank God you want to." Fabian is also happy because Maura wants to be invited to Bandung later this weekend. "I just wanted to ask you that. It's late, I want to go home."

Maura was speechless, dumbstruck on the spot while looking at Fabian. He didn't listen wrong. Just asking that why should ask to come down and meet on the side of the road. Why not over the phone or just a short message, thought Maura who was not exhausted with Fabian.

Fabian let out a small laugh, he closed the car door and stepped wide following Maura.

Maura screeched as her body suddenly floated up. He also reflexively coiled both his hands on Fabian's neck. He looked resentfully at Fabian who suddenly carried him.

"Why rush? I was gonna walk you inside." Fabian said without feeling guilty. He stepped slowly inside the gate while carrying Maura.

"It sucks!" Maura muttered with her head she placed on Fabian's right shoulder. He smiled happily as Fabian suddenly carried her. That means Fabian doesn't want to make him tired. "Why is he so romantic?" Maura's screams in the heart.

"I know I'm a bitch. Because it's my way of making you crazy about me."
