7. New Status

Not felt after a few hours later finally Gilang and Amanda have officially become a married couple. Amanda never thought she would get married so soon. Because in her dream after graduating from college, Amanda wanted to become a career woman.

But in reality, a plan is just a plan. As good and good as we set the plan, we never know what will happen to our lives. Amanda is just following the flow of her life.

Even Gilang seemed relaxed and did not want to rush in making this decision.

"What are you thinking about Amanda?" ask Gilang who has since noticed Amanda who is like daydreaming.

"Ah it's okay, I'm just thinking about our relationship. I never thought that I would get married so soon" replied Amanda, who was breathing violently.

"What's? Why are our minds the same? I could think like that too. I also never imagined that I would get married this fast" said Gilang, who felt the same way.

For a moment they were silent. They are busy in their minds. Although now they are legal to be a husband and wife, but they still feel awkward.

"really? You feel like me too?" ask Amanda not to believe it.

"Yes Amanda, I feel that way too. Though I still want to live freely, but grandfather who always forced me to get married soon," muttered Gilang with a slightly pouting face.

It was spontaneous to make Amanda laugh. Amanda felt funny when she saw Gilang like that.

"Loh why? Is there something wrong with my words?" ask Gilang who was surprised because suddenly Amanda laughed.

"Ah no, it's just that you look so funny, hihi," replied Amanda who was still chuckling while covering her mouth.

While Gilang only shook his head when he heard Amanda speak. Tonight is the wedding night for both of them. But there are no romantic words or deeds like a newlywed couple in general.

They seem stiff and timid. After the reception was over they immediately rushed into a hotel room not far from their wedding hall. They are both silent and even engrossed in chatting.

Gilang who has only known Amanda in a few days does not dare to touch Amanda. Because Gilang is still embarrassed and not used to it. Likewise with Amanda who still keeps her distance from Gilang.

In their new status, they were both cold and indifferent. They still feel shy. Not felt because they continued chatting finally they were exhausted until they finally fell asleep so soundly.

The next day the sound of birds was heard. The sun is beginning to show its light. But Gilang was still asleep. Amanda has been awake since.

"Hoam, it still feels sleepy," said Amanda who has still yawned since.

Amanda was still feeling very sleepy, but she realized that today was the first day for her to become a wife. Amanda wakes up early so she can prepare breakfast.

After taking a shower and performing dawn prayers, Amanda immediately rushed to the kitchen. There he tried to open the refrigerator, perhaps there was something he could make. But when Amanda opened it, there was nothing in there. They forgot to buy food.

Amanda went back to her room to wake her husband up.

"Let's wake up it's noon" said Amanda who woke Gilang awkwardly.

"Ah but I'm still sleepy" said Gilang, who covered his face with a pillow.

"But you haven't prayed yet" Amanda warned.

"What time is it?" ask Gilang who is worried.

"Why haven't you woken me up since?" grumbling Gilang who immediately rushed to the bathroom.

Amanda just shook her head because it had been since he woke her but Gilang did not wake up too. A few minutes later Gilang had taken a bath and finished carrying out his duties as a Muslim.

"Oiya sorry on the table there is no food, because I saw the refrigerator has nothing," said Amanda.

"Oiya I also forgot yesterday not to buy food stock. But don't worry we'll stay in a hotel, not a rented house. We can order food or go down to eat" said Gilang at length.

"It's fine too, why can I forget," Amanda said, holding her eel.

"Yes let's go!" bring Gilang.

"Where?" ask Amanda by linking the two halis.

"We're eating down," asked Gilang.

"Oh okay come on!" exclaim Amanda.

The two of them immediately rushed to the bottom floor, because their room was indeed upstairs. They went to a restaurant that was available at the hotel. Actually, they can order food and be delivered to their room, but they prefer to eat in place to find a new atmosphere.

It didn't take long for them to finally arrive downstairs. It was crowded by other visitors. Not far from there is a large swimming pool.

"Good morning! Please order what?" greet one of the waitresses who immediately approached their table.

"Morning!" answer Amanda and Gilang in unison.

They both immediately looked at the food menu in the menu book.

"I'll order just this" Amanda pointed to a picture of a tenderloin steak.

"I'm just french fries" said Gilang.

"Well sir, ma'am, for a drink?" ask before he rushes away.

"Juice oranges only," they answered in unison.

"You are indeed a compact couple yes," praised the waitress with a knotty smile.

"Please wait for a moment" said the waitress who immediately rushed to make their order.

While Gilang and Amanda just smiled knot. Although in a few days make them quite close, but somehow after marriage makes them awkward again.

It feels like someone just met. Perhaps it was all because of their new status, so they had yet to get used to each other. Not long after their order finally arrived. Gilang and Amanda immediately ate their own food.

"Thank you" they said in unison.

"Sama-sama," replied the waitress with a knotty smile.

Again, they say the same thing at the same time. That's enough to make them misbehave. She just smiled, while Amanda was just fooled by shame.
