14. Must Lose

Not long after, Amanda arrived at the nearest hospital. Amanda was immediately rushed to the Emergency Unit (UGD). She was treated by an obstetrician and several nurses. It's almost a few hours Amanda's in the room.

While Gilang and the rest of the family wait for Amanda outside the room. Gilang looked sad because he did not expect that his wife would experience this. In addition, Bhaskara's grandfather was no less sad because he was very worried about Amanda and her baby.

Risma immediately contacted Amanda's parents. Although not the heart but even though Silvia must know about the condition of her son. A few hours later, the doctor finally came out.

"I'm sorry we tried so hard, but we could only save one of them. We can only save his mother" the doctor said with regret.

"What's? So son?" ask Gilang who still does not believe.

After a few hours in the operating room, Amanda regretted losing her child. Amanda had to lose her baby because she fell and her stomach hit so that the baby could not be saved.

Gilang who heard the news immediately fell down. She feels very sad because she has to lose the fruit of her love with Amanda. In addition, the whole family felt a deep sadness.

Especially Bhaskara's grandfather who really felt sad. For a long time, my grandfather wanted a great-grandchild. But now Bhaskara's grandfather has to accept if his great-grandfather won't be born.

"Please don't talk too much" the doctor added before rushing off.

Very carefully Gilang entered the room. But before entering the room, Gilang wiped his tears first. He didn't want Amanda to see him grieve. Gilang did not want to show his sadness in front of Amanda.

Upon entering the room, Amanda was crying. Amanda was sad when she found out that her son could not be saved.

"Please, dear" said Gilang who felt unable to see the state of his wife.

"But I'm not a good mother. I can't even protect my own son."

"No dear, you've been looking after our son very well" said Gilang who tried to calm his wife. Although both feel sad but Gilang does not want to show it.

"But what about grandpa? Grandfather was looking forward to this baby, but I couldn't take good care of him" said Amanda, who came back crying. She knew very well that her grandfather craved for her baby. But now the baby is gone.

"Grandfather will understand, all this is not because of our wishes. But this is all fate Almighty" Galang said, wiping away Amanda's tears. Gilang felt unbearable when he saw his wife look sad.

But Amanda still can't stop her grief. Amanda was devastated by the loss of her baby. Not long after, the whole family came into the room.

"Patience dear," said Risma who immediately hugged her daughter-in-law.

"I've failed to be a mother," said Amanda who again cried in Risma's arms.

"Don't love, you've been a good mother all along. You've taken good care of her, but we never know what's going to happen in our lives, son. Rest assured everything that happens must be the best for us" said Risma who tried to calm her daughter-in-law.

Before long, Silvia came and immediately approached her son.

"Amanda, how are you doing, son?" asked Silvia who immediately approached Amanda in bed and immediately hugged her.

"Mother, my son, my daughter, ma'am" said Amanda, who was crying in her mother's arms. Amanda was crying again in her mother's arms. He came back crying.

"Here you go, my patient son. This is all destiny for us. Don't keep crying, you have to be strong!" timpal his mother who did not feel the heart to see her son sad like that.

Some of them left the room because they could not bear to see Amanda who was still crying. For tonight Amanda will sleep in the hospital because she has to be rested.

The other family has gone home. Only Gilang and Silvia remain in hospital.

"Mom should just go home, Amanda let me take care of her, ma'am" Gilang said.

"But mother still can't bear to leave Amanda son," said Silvia who felt she didn't want to be away from her son.

"Yes, mom should just go home. I'm fine ma'am, besides there's my husband here, too" Amanda said.

"But son" said Silvia.

"Had mother come home, pity me if alone at home. I'm home tomorrow anyway" Amanda added.

Hearing her son's words, Silvia returned home.

"Well then mom comes home, son, you're fine here" said Silvia, hugging her son just before she left.

"Yes ma'am, be careful" Amanda said.

After the departure of her mother Amanda was soon rested. It wasn't long before a nun brought food for Amanda.

"Excuse me ma'am, I want to drop off some food" the nurse said as she walked into the room.

"Yes, thank you" replied Amanda.

After putting the food down, the nurse rushed back out.

"You have to eat first baby, to recover quickly," said Gilang who immediately opened the food covered with rapping plastic.

"I'm not having a taste for food, I don't want to eat anything" Amanda said.

"Don't be so sweet, I'm a bribe!" tawang Gilang's.

Finally because of her husband's persuasion Amanda ate too. Although actually he was very appetizing to eat but because Gilang finally Amanda wanted to eat. As a mother who had been looking forward to her son Amanda was devastated by this incident.

Not much food came into his mouth. Just a few mouthfuls Amanda didn't want to continue eating because she thought back to her son. Amanda began to tear up as she remembered her son.

I don't feel like the tears are finally falling.

Amanda thought back to her son. The child he had been taking good care of turned out to have to leave without seeing him first.

"I'm sorry mommy son, I can't take good care of you" Amanda said.

"Don't be like this Amanda, I can't bear to see it. I can't bear to see you like this" said Gilang who was also sad and immediately hugged him. He also finally shed his tears because he could not see his wife who was always sad.

I don't know how long she had been crying, which was clear after Amanda was tired she finally fell asleep.

"Patience dear, we can definitely get through all this together," muttered inner Gilang as he rubbed Amanda's head.
