15. Bad News
It's been a few months, but the sadness is still Amanda felt. Amanda still feels the loss of a prospective baby. A child coveted by Gilang's extended family.
Although it's been a long time, but Amanda still can't forget the incident. An event he will never forget in his entire life. The event that ultimately took the life of his baby.
"I'm sorry mommy son, I can't take care of you. But mom always misses you" Amanda muttered.
"What's up, baby? What are you thinking?" ask Gilang.
"No, I'm just missing our son" Amanda said.
No words came out of his mouth. Gilang could only hug his wife so that she was calmer. As a husband, Gilang was very understanding of his wife's feelings. He also felt what it was like to lose a child.
"Oiya, today we are going to the hospital for control" Gilang said.
"But I don't want to go anywhere" Amanda replied.
"Come baby this is all for your good," said Gilang again.
"Yes, then I'll get ready first" said Amanda who immediately rushed to the room
shower to clean yourself first.
A few minutes later, Amanda finally finished her bath and is now ready and tidy. They finally rushed away. A few days earlier Gilang had already made an appointment with Helen for her abdominal examination after the surgery.
"Where are you going to go so neat as this?" risma asked when she saw the child and daughter-in-law were neat.
"We're going to the hospital ma'am, today there's Amanda's schedule of controls" Gilang replied.
"Oh so, yes already be careful on the road," said Bu Risma again who was sweeping the floor.
"You didn't have breakfast?" ask Risma.
"Let's go on Ma'am's road" replied Gilang as he passed.
They also left immediately by car. I don't know why Amanda was nervous about the checkup this time. This is just ordinary control. An hour later they arrived at the nearest hospital.
Gilang and Amanda immediately rushed to dr. Helen.

"Good day Helen," said Gilang.
"Hi good day, please sit down," Helen bargained.
Amanda and Gilang immediately sat in front of dr. Helen. Amanda went to bed for a checkup. Amanda did some checks. Amanda and Gilang have been trying to get pregnant again.
Gilang hopes that if Amanda will get pregnant again soon, then Gilang takes her to be examined. After a few minutes of testing, the test is finally over.
"The condition of Amanda is fine, you don't have to worry" said dr. Helen.
"Thank God" said Gilang.
"Oiya I want to go to the toilet first" said Amanda who immediately rushed out of the room looking for a toilet.
dr. Helen goes back to talking about Amanda's true situation. She didn't say Amanda's true condition because she was worried that Amanda would be disappointed.
"Oiya Gilang actually, your wife can't get pregnant anymore. Yesterday's incident made Amanda can no longer have a child," said dr. Helen was full of regrets.
"What's? So Amanda can't get pregnant again?" asked Gilang who still did not believe what he heard.
That was really bad news for Amanda.
"What's? So I can't get pregnant anymore?" shriek Amanda from the doorway with teary eyes. His heart was so sliced upon hearing his true condition.
"Amanda's? You hear everything?" ask Gilang who felt unbearable with all this.
"Yes, you don't have to cover this up. I know everything" Amanda said.
"I'm sorry Amanda, I'm so sorry to tell you all this. But I can't do anything" Amanda said.
"I beg you please don't tell my family about all this" Amanda said.
"But why Amanda?" tanya Gilang who linked the two halis.
"I don't want them to feel sad about this bad news, I'm enough to endure all this" replied Amanda who sobbed in Gilang's arms.
While dr. Helen felt very sorry for Amanda. But he also could not provide a way out of this problem. Although he could suggest adopting a child but he thinks now is not the right time to talk about this.
After their conversation was over, Amanda and Gilang immediately rushed home.
"We'll eat first baby, I'm hungry" Gilang said before they got in the car.
"But I'm not eating anything, I don't have a taste for food" Amanda said.
"Dear baby don't be like that, you have to keep eating yes" said Gilang.
"If you don't want to eat, I don't want to eat either. We just go home," said Gilang.
Hearing that made Amanda feel bad. Amanda wouldn't have her husband not eat. Amanda did not want Gilang to fall ill just because of him.
"Yes let's eat, let's eat" Amanda asked.
"Well so dong," said Gilang who smiled knot.
They also immediately got into the car. Gilang and Amanda find breakfast that they like. Finally, not long after, they ate on the side of the road. Although they are rich people, they never choose where to eat.
They will eat where they want even if they only eat on the side of the road.
"How about we eat soto," pointed Gilang at a soto stall located on the side of the road.
"Byeah" Amanda replied.
Without a lot of words, they finally ate soto on the side of the road. Although only a soto, but the food is Gilang's favorite food. They immediately ordered 2 servings of soto along with rice.
"Thank you sir" said Gilang.
"Sama-sama," replied the soto waiter.
Glad very greedy when eating that soto. But Amanda doesn't feel good. Amanda just stirred up the soto in front of her. Amanda recalls dr's words. Helen when she said that she could not get pregnant anymore and could not have any more children.
Gilang who had been engrossed himself, felt bad when his wife just daydreamed while stirring the soto.
"Let's love me a bribe yes," said Gilang who immediately sniffed the rice into Amanda's mouth.
Amanda who saw the spoon in front of her would not want to have to eat it immediately. Gilang's bribe managed to make Amanda finally want to eat even though not too much.
Finally, it was not long before they finished eating and immediately rushed home.
