35. Still Feeling Lost

Several months passed but Sukma still felt a very deep sadness. During his life losing a mother was the hardest thing for Sukma. He never once imagined that he would lose his mother at the age of the present Sukma.

Almost every day Sukma always shed his tears because he missed his mother. Losing a mother is like a bird losing its wings. Since losing his mother, Sukma's life has felt empty.

"Had the mother still been there, perhaps my life would not have been this lonely" murmured the inner Sukma who again remembered her mother.

A few months passed, finally Sukma was able to clean up his school. Now after the death of his mother, Sukma lives with his aunt Helen. Although Sukma initially refused because he felt bad but finally Sukma was willing.

He did this because Sukma had no one left. Only Helen was good to him all along. Actually Helen is old enough to get married and have children, but somehow it feels like Helen is not willing to take on the task as a wife.

Her hard life makes Helen want to work hard to be able to finance her own life.

"Oiya Sukma what will you do after you finish school?" helen asked as they were having breakfast.

"Actually I want to go to college, but it's not possible. Looks like I will just work straight away" replied Sukma.

"If it's your decision, do it. Aunty can only support you" Helen said.

"Thank you aunt because all this time my aunt has been taking care of me," said Sukma again.

"Yes, both are Sukma, because you are the son of my brother. If you want to work, I can give you a job" he added.

"You want a aunt, I'm tired of being at home all the time. I want a tan job," replied Sukma enthusiastically.

Helen has worked as a comfort woman for a long time. His lack of education made it difficult to find a job. For that, inevitably Helen had to do this job so that she got a lot of money.

Although Helen was not a bad person but she had no other choice. All of his friends have the same profession. It's just that in front of Sukma, Helen didn't show her work.

Sukma knew Helen worked at a spa that was quite famous.

The next day Helen and Sukma were ready to meet Helen's friend. But on the way Helen pretends to get a call if she has to go to work in place of her friend who is on maternity leave.

"I'm so sorry dear, aunt has to go to work because aunty friend suddenly gave birth. Wouldn't it be okay if you went alone?" helen said on the way.

"Oiya aunty is fine, I can be alone. Auntie's friend's house is close, isn't it?" ask Sukma.

"Yes that Sukma!" show Helen. Not long after Helen left Sukma alone.

Along with Helen who got down from the car, Sukma also came down because the house of his aunt friend was close enough. He finally continued his journey on foot.

Not far a few meters, Sukma immediately asked a security guard who was on duty.

"Excuse me sir, I'm Sukma and I have made an appointment with Ms. Hana" Sukma said.

"Oiya please mba, madam has been waiting for you since," said the security guard who immediately drove Sukma into the house.
