39. Change of Mind

A few hours after the monthly 7th event, Sukma kept some of his jewelry, gifts and money on the chair. Amanda and Gilang were having a conversation with their family in the living room.

Everyone seemed happy and happy. Especially grandfather, it feels impatient to wait for the birth of Amanda's baby. Likewise with Gilang and Amanda even though they know if the one in the event is Sukma.

Amanda rushed to find Sukma's whereabouts. He felt bad.

"Sukmas! Sukma!" call Amanda while half-running towards Sukma's room.

But after seeing Sukma's room, he was not in his room. Even Amanda searched Sukma almost the whole room. Not finding Sukma inside the house, Amanda searches for Sukma's whereabouts outside the house.

"Was Sukma out of the house?" ask Amanda when she gets to the gate.

"Yes, madam, he went to the station" replied the security guard.

"Where did my wife go?" ask Gilang when he gets below.

While arriving at the station Amanda immediately approached Sukma who was sitting in a long chair.

"Where are you going these nights?" ask Amanda.

"What do you say Sukma? We agreed, we'll give you the money while you'll give the baby away" said Amanda, who was disappointed by what Sukma said.

"For 9 months I've been waiting for that baby. Not only me, but my whole family is also looking forward to the baby. The happiness of our family is in your hands Sukma!" it was Amanda who started getting carried away by emotions.

"Okay, I'll give you this baby but on one condition" Sukma said.

"What are the terms of Sukma? Whatever I'll give you as long as you want to give the baby," said Amanda, who was almost desperate because her wait had been in vain.

"I want your husband!" chirping Sukma.
