17. Amanda's Request

It doesn't feel like almost a whole day at work. After all his work was done, Gilang wanted to hurry home immediately. I don't know why it feels so heavy today. Talk with dr. Axel made Gilang unsettled. He was confused as to what he should do.

On the other hand Gilang loves Amanda very much, but on the other hand Gilang also feels confused about what his grandfather wants. Arriving home, Amanda has been waiting for the arrival of Gilang since.

"Today you're home early?" ask Amanda when her husband just came.

"Yes Amanda, my work is done sooner so I want to go home soon," replied Gilang who immediately rushed to his room to clean up.

Amanda immediately prepared food for her husband. A few minutes later Gilang immediately came down wearing casual clothes.

"Eat first Gilang, this is your favorite food," said Amanda while scooping rice into the dish and immediately given a side dish.

"Wah rendang," said Gilang who directly devoured his food. Warm rice and beef rendang are Gilang's favorite foods. Gilang will eat a lot just by eating rendang.

Amanda just smiled watching her husband eat so greedily. It felt quite full even just watching her husband eat.

"Are you not going to eat? How long will I see you eat?" tanya Gilang who saw his wife was only watching him.

"I'm still full" replied Amanda, who only smiled.

A few minutes later Gilang finished eating. Arriving at home Gilang felt forgotten by what he thought since this morning. His mind became calm at home.

"Oiya when I'm done eating there's something I want to talk about" Amanda said.

"About what? Just saying?" tanya Gilang who linked the two halis.

"Later we'll talk in the room" Amanda replied.

"Yes let's talk in the room, it seems serious," Gilang said as he passed to the room after finishing eating.

Amanda was nervous about what she was going to say. Amanda was confused where to start. Actually Amanda didn't want to say any of this, but she had to.

"Are there really things you want Amanda to talk about?" ask Gilang who is now sitting at the edge of the bed.

"I have Gilang's request, can you fulfill it?" amanda was nervous.

"Whatever it is, baby, I will give you whatever you want" said Gilang who was full of confidence.

"Mmh, actually I want you to remarry Gilang, again" Amanda said. It felt so hard for Amanda to say that. But he has no other choice.

"What's? What did you say Amanda? I can't do that, I love you so much and I never want to betray you" said Gilang, who was shocked by what Amanda said.

I never thought Amanda would say that. The thing that since the morning he thought, it turns out Amanda has been thinking about it.

"But Gilang, only by remarrying will you have a child. I will never be able to get pregnant again and will never have children. So only in this way will this family get offspring" Amanda said.

"No dear, don't say that. We will get a child but not in that way" said Gilang who immediately embraced his wife.

"But in what way? I can't give you offspring" said Amanda, who now cries in her husband's arms.

"Let's think of a way later, which I obviously wouldn't want to betray, baby, I love you so much" Gilang said.

"I love you so much too" Amanda said.

After kissing his wife, Gilang immediately rushed to his study with a glass of hot coffee. In the room Gilang thought about what he had just talked about with his wife.

Actually there is no work that is important, only Gilang still can not close his eyes. Hearing Amanda's request made Gilang feel confused. Maybe he felt burdened because his grandfather always asked for great-grandchildren from the two of them.

"What should I do now? I'm trying to get advice from dr. Axels. But I have to find the woman where," muttered the inner Gilang who felt his mind swayed and fro.

"Where should I find that woman? Is there a woman who wants to be a surrogate mother" he murmured again.

Not felt because of the slowness of being in the workspace finally Gilang fell asleep there.

Elsewhere, Amanda wakes up looking for her husband who is still not there beside her.

"Where's Gilang? Why hasn't he come back yet? Did he fall asleep in the study?" thought.

Feeling so, Amanda immediately rushed to Gilang's workplace. And sure enough, Gilang apparently fell asleep on his desk.

"Gosh, it turns out that my guess is right" muttered Amanda, who saw her husband fall asleep on the table.

"Don't tell me" Amanda said, holding her cheek gently.

"Amanda's? What are you doing here?" ask Gilang who was surprised.

"You fell asleep here Gilang, so I woke up. We're moving into the room, yeah," take Amanda.

"Let's go!" timpal Gilang who felt a little dizzy from falling asleep long enough.

Eventually Gilang and Amanda move into their room. Amanda went back to sleep with her husband.

"Actually yesterday I talked about our problems to dr. Axels. I have considered him as my own father, so I tell him about our problems" replied Gilang.

"What if dr. Axel told our family about my true state Gilang," said Amanda, who began to fret when Gilang said that.

"No Amanda, I already know dr. Axel's been a while. He wouldn't be like that. In fact, he advised us to look for a surrogate mother," added Gilang.
