31. Forced to Lie

"Oiya, where's Amanda son? You haven't seen her since?" timpal Silvia searching for the whereabouts of his son.

"Amanda's taking a bath, ma'am, I'll call you in a minute. You guys sit down first" said Gilang who immediately rushed to his room.

Gilang half ran to his room to look for his wife. Although a little worried, Gilang tried to remain calm in front of his family. He rushed in to see his wife.

"Amanda," called Gilang shortly after entering the room.

"Yes Gilang, I'm here" cried Amanda who had just come out of the bathroom.

"Here quickly look for something that can make your stomach look big" said Gilang.

Gilang and Amanda also try to find an object that can make Amanda's stomach look enlarged.

"How about using this," said Gilang while pointing at a pillow of medium size.

"May also."

Finally because of a mutual agreement, Amanda's stomach was entered into a pillow so that she looks like she is pregnant. Gilang and Amanda tried to cover her stomach as weathered as possible to better convince her family.

Moments of struggling in the room finally Gilang and Amanda rushed out of the room to meet their extended family.

"Dear Amanda," cried Silvia.

Silvia immediately approached her son because they had not met for a very long time. For a while they hugged each other, but there was not the slightest suspicion from his mother.

Her mother was very happy because her son was pregnant. That means she'll soon be a grandmother. Finished cuddling with her mother, Amanda greeted her father as well as her two in-laws and Bhaskara's grandfather.

"Wah I'm finally going to be a great-grandfather soon" Bhaskara said.

"Forgive us cake, we're forced to lie," Amanda muttered.

Shortly after they had a conversation, Sukma suddenly came out of his room.

"Who is that?" ask Risma.

Everyone looked surprised and looked towards Sukma with an equally large stomach. Sukma only smiled clumsyly as Amanda and Gilang's family watched him.

"Deliver this to my friend's wife. Her husband was working in a fairly distant place, so he was deposited here. Today too he will leave here, but he will live alone in his house" said Gilang who immediately explained to his family.

"Oh, how cute are you boys. Yes, you just stay here with Amanda" said Risma as she approached Sukma and rubbed her stomach.

"Yes, son, you stay here. Why you should tell him to go Gilang. Don't you have feelings huh?" pekik Bhaskara was upset by what Gilang said.

"Yes cake, yes," Gilang said as he lowered his head.

Though Gilang said it was only because so that his family could receive Sukma. Gilang pretends to expel Sukma so that his family gives permission to stay with them.

"Thank God my plan worked" muttered Inner Gilang.

While Amanda only glanced at Gilang occasionally. Amanda seemed to know what her husband's plans were. After the talk the whole family rested and then had lunch together.

They talked to each other and talked about many things. But different from Sukma who actually daydream when seeing the togetherness of the family Amanda and Gilang.

"It's like it's like having a complete family. So warm, so pleasant. It feels so happy when I can be with them, when I have just met them," murmured inner Sukma who felt sad and happy.
