30. The Arrival of the Big Family

The sun begins to shine with its light. The sky is so clear today. The birds were singing everywhere. Today Gilang did not leave for the office because today he took leave.

Gilang took a few days off. For that for a few days Gilang will be at home. As usual early in the morning Amanda was already struggling in the kitchen. Because it's nice to cook Amanda makes some kind of food.

Starting from side dishes and some types of cakes do not forget he made. Feeling bored with outdoor cuisine, Amanda deliberately made typical cuisine of the archipelago because she really misses Indonesian cuisine.

"Well, what's the smell of today?" said Gilang who sniffed the smell of food as he entered the kitchen.

"Today I made your favorite chicken soto" replied Amanda who was still busy with her activities.

"It looks good, I'm hungry" said Gilang, who was holding his stomach.

"Eat it, after all, it's ripe" said Amanda, who had just finished serving her food on the table.

Gilang immediately took the rice along with the chicken soto that made his stomach rumble. Glutton immediately ate his food. But just Gilang ate his food some bribes, suddenly the sound of his cellphone was heard.

"Who in the morning has called," grumbled Gilang while picking up his cellphone which was across the dining table.

"Amanda, today my mother and all the family are on their way here" Gilang said shortly after receiving a phone call.

"What's? Then how is this? They're here for sure because they know about my pregnancy" said Amanda, who suddenly panicked when she found out her entire family was coming here. Amanda is not pregnant.

"Here, calm down I will think about it" said Gilang who tried to win his wife.

For a while Gilang thought about how to keep his family from feeling suspicious. Moments later Gilang finally found a way to keep his family unsuspecting.

"I have an idea of Amanda" Gilang said with a deep smile.

"Look at me, what if you pretend to be pregnant as well" replied Gilang enthusiastically.

"What if they'll get suspicious later" said Amanda, worried about her husband's idea.

"It won't, believe me," Gilang said.

In the middle of their conversation, a bell suddenly sounded.

Ting. keg..

"Let me open the door. You just wait in the room," said Gilang who immediately rushed to the door.

When opening the door Gilang felt surprised because the one who came was really his family.

"Mother?" asked Gilang who still did not believe the woman in front of him turned out to be his mother.

"My son, it's been a long time that mother misses you so much" said Risma who immediately hugged her child tightly.

"I miss you too" said Gilang who immediately returned his mother's embrace.

"My beloved grandson" said Bhaskara, who now alternately hugs Gilang.

"Grandfather, how are you?" tanya Gilang who welcomed his grandfather's embrace.

After hugging his grandfather, Gilang now does not forget to hug his father as well as his two-in-law. They were very happy because they were able to meet Gilang.

"Oiya, where's Amanda son? You haven't seen her since?" timpal Silvia searching for the whereabouts of his son.

"Amanda's taking a bath, ma'am, I'll call you in a minute. You guys sit down first" said Gilang who immediately rushed to his room.

Gilang half ran to his room to look for his wife.
