No Rose Without A Thorn's
NRWT 2: The Reunion of the Devil

"In the meantime your wife should rest in bed. There should not be much activity and thought. Please be careful not to get tired."

"Okay, thank you, Doc." Evan answered while taking the doctor who examined Keira home.

In the room, Keira who was still lying looked at Ny Lestari and Dizza alternately, demanding an explanation of what she had heard.

"Son, don't think about it" Dizza said, before Keira's question.

"What ..."

"Keira, remember your son. Don't think of things ..."

"I heard you!" jolted Keira with annoyance.

"Keira, relax!" Evan who suddenly entered immediately sat on the edge of the bed to calm him down.

"Can you leave us first?" pinta Evan on Mrs Lestari and Dizza who soon left with a heavy heart.

"Van, I ...."

"They've told me, Kei. Don't be afraid, don't worry, okay?"

"But..."

"Sst, don't let him hurt you even if he's not in front of us. If you keep this up, pity our son."

Keira was silent, feeling completely wrong. He was obviously unwilling to put his son in danger but was there a way to shift his mind?

"You're enduring the pain from yesterday, aren't you?" look at Evan, remembering what the doctor said outside.

"The wife of the father seems to be the type that is not spoiled so please pay close attention even though he does not complain. My wife clearly needs a break. He didn't tell me his stomach was cramping?"

"I've told you how many times, Kei, don't keep it alone. If you get sick or want something, tell me. Don't be alone. If you don't complain about anything, I don't know what you're feeling, right? If there's anything else, how about it?"

Keira looked into Evan's eyes which clearly looked annoyed, she also became even more annoyed that the man was as if blaming her.

"OK, sorry." Finally Keira chose to apologize to Evan while turning her face away.

"Key, I mean ..." Evan tried to calm Keira who he knew must have gotten more upset because of his words just now.

"I know what you mean," interrupted Keira lazily, still reluctant to turn her head.

Evan took a breath then suddenly climbed onto the bed and hugged Keira.

"Sorry, sweetheart. I didn't mean to blame you. I'm just worried. I know you don't like to complain but if you ..."

"But you are indeed wrong with me! If there's anything to our son, I'm wrong, right?" sela Keira again but this time her voice sounded raucous because while sobbing.

Hearing Keira suddenly cry, Evan suddenly panicked. He immediately jumped over Keira to look at her from the front for the sake of looking at her eyes that were already soaked by tears.

During their marriage Evan never saw Keira cry then this time he became very guilty.

"Sorry, Kei, sorry. It's not. If there's anything, I'm obviously wrong. Sorry I'm not so sensitive. I don't know how to take care of you, I'm afraid something's happening not only to our son but I'm also afraid you're wretched, Kei. Plis don't cry like this."

Evan rubbed Keira's still flowing tears.

"I don't mean anything. I also don't want our child to be wretched, I just don't want to take care of you. I ..."

"Yes I know. Sorry, sweetie." Evan immediately hugged Keira for the woman to calm down.

"Sorry Kei, I'm not perfect as a husband and father-to-be. Please teach me, will you?" Evan patted Keira's arm slowly until the woman slowly fell asleep.

After making sure Keira was asleep, Evan took off his arms carefully and kissed her forehead. He slowly got out of bed, coming out of the room to meet the Keira family who had been waiting for him in the living room.

"How is he doing?" ask Kusuma who just arrived home. Upon hearing the news that Keira had fainted, the man immediately went home. On the way he did not stop cursing Baskoro who made Kerira afraid even though he only heard his name.

"She just went to bed" Evan replied as he sat on the sofa.

"Is my uncle out of prison?" tanyanya demanded an explanation. He also feels upset about not being told about Baskoro's exit and about someone who had stalked Keira.

When no one gave him an answer, Evan again voiced in a slightly high tone.

"Please, I'm her husband now. I am responsible for protecting and protecting my family. Don't make people who don't...."

"He escaped from prison" Kusuma said.

Evan looked at his father-in-law.

"We don't know where he is yet." continued Kusuma again.

Evan clenched his hand tightly. Various mixed feelings in his heart at this moment. Keira's anxiety was contagious to her.

"For a while don't let Keira out of the house. Let him stay here, please." Mrs Lestari suddenly spoke.

Evan looked at his mother-in-law who now looked very agitated. Evan could not imagine how Lestari was feeling right now, the woman must be in quite a big dilemma considering that Baskoro is also the father of her other daughter.

"Yes, I also think it's safer for Keira to be in this house. Dad, can I beg you for something?" ask Evan suddenly.

Kusuma looked at Evan while frowning, while Dizza and Ny Lestari raised their eyebrows.

"Keira can't be depressed. He had to rest a lot and should not be stressed but he had already heard about all this. So I beg you not to make him think of the safety of Nada. She must not have calmed down because she was afraid that something might happen to her sister."

Nu Lestari and Dizza gasped at Evan's request. Kusuma looked at Evan's face and then he took off his tie slowly. Without looking at Lestari, Kusuma spoke slowly.

"I'll do anything to protect Keira. As long as he's safe, I won't harm anyone else!" kusuma said before leaving the room to visit Keira.

The faint sound of the TV broke the silence in one of the halls of the mansion. The house on top of the tea plantation was again quiet when a hand pressed the remote tv button to turn off the broadcast that he thought was not important. While smoking deeply, the man closed his eyes as if he wanted to enjoy his silence and solitude.

"Is this house so pleasant that you fall asleep comfortably like this?"

"Although my house is much more comfortable but at least this is better than the prison floor. Don't bother me."

"I got you out of there to work together not to watch you relax like this, Baskoro!" said a man sitting in front of Baskoro.

Baskoro with his cunning smile slowly opened his eyes and widened his lips to welcome the two people who were looking at him in annoyance.

"I haven't thanked you yet, have I?" ask her with a sickening tone.

"Show me your work!" sniffed the man in front of him.

Baskoro suddenly laughed out loud making the man before him even more wrathful.

"See my legs!" Baskoro pointed at his legs that looked normal but were actually deformed. The bullet that Kusuma fired when he stabbed Keira made him unable to walk normally anymore without the help of a cane.

"This is the result if you are in a hurry! I regret following the words of the impatient woman!" Baskoro quipped Ny Leah who was sitting not far from him. The woman only chuckled while pouring alcohol, her appearance was indeed a representative of an elegant and friendly upper-class woman. But when observed carefully, Ms. Leah is clearly a psychopath.

"And you don't want to be an impatient old woman, do you?" Baskoro accused the man before him again.

"I'm not a crazy old woman but I don't have a lot of patient stock either! If you end up wasting only my time, it would be better if your other leg is also deformed!"

"You're no crazier than I am" Ms Leah said.

The man leaned his back then looked at Baskoro sharply.

"So, what's your defense about your men who were caught off guard and are now missing? Are you waiting for the police to find him and to track down all of us?"

Baskoro put down his cigarette and stared back no less sharply.

"That's part of the plan. There's nothing I need to explain as a defense."

"Part of your failed plan?" insinuate the man.

Baskoro laughed disdainfully and closed his eyes again.

"The man was deliberately stalking conspicuously so that Kusuma could catch him easily. The family must be scared."

"And aren't you afraid that the police will find the man?"

"If it's lucky the police might find it a few weeks away, at the bottom of the river, but what's the importance? The man couldn't speak let alone say my name. He committed suicide because he was distressed to accuse Kusuma of harming his daughter when he was just an ordinary person who was obsessed with Keira because he had seen her on television."

Ny Leah laughed out loud while the man before Baskoro fell silent in silence.

"When the Kusuma group again swayed in the gossip of using gangster violence to deal with the stalkers, that's when they would be careless to watch over his family."

"And when that happens you can take back your beloved ex-fiance!" keep up Mrs Leah.

"They won't know that the real stalker is you, Bara Wijaya!"

baskoro said as he opened his eyes looking at Bara who was sitting still not reacting.

"So you want to take him alive or dead? Or alive but her son is dead?" ask Ms. Leah without any sense of sin.

"Don't let Keira get hurt one bit!" he snapped with exploding emotions.

"But he hurt your mother to become a corpse in prison" Ms Leah provoked Bara.

"And again the child in his stomach is another boy, not your son, " continued Baskoro deliberately further anger Bara.

Bara stared intently at Baskoro and then spoke casually, "The man who made her pregnant must die. But are you capable? He's your nephew, right?"

Baskoro laughed louder followed by Ny Leah who had vertical up his second glass of alcohol.

"Evan isn't my niece, he's just the kid my sister adopted from the orphanage to show Kusuma that she can have children. It was a pity that all his efforts were in vain, the child was completely useless! From the beginning Kusuma didn't even trust the child as his son."

Bara was a little aghast but then he was relaxed even when Baskoro returned to speaking in a different tone.

" I didn't think I had a child. Let's see how useful the boy will be."

"Your daughter will be useless, Baskoro. He loves his family." Leah reminded.

"But Zea has my blood. They even threw it away when they were kids. He just couldn't understand which was more important. Live in the pretense of a family that accepts it or reclaim the happiness it once lost. Lestari's an amazing jerk, how dare he ignore my flesh and blood!"

Ember is not reacting, Ms. Leah is also silent. Baskoro stood up in a stupor and then suddenly his wand he smashed into a table lamp until it broke into pieces.

When some of the servants ran away due to the loudness of the sound caused by the shards, Bara and Ny Leah looked relaxed. They even remained sitting still as Baskoro hit the TV again until it fell apart.

Their hearts seemed to harden, unaffected by the noise of the things Baskoro broke with countless emotions. They did not care about the fear of the servants who stood trembling in confusion.

Bara turned his head to look at a female servant who looked pale.

The devil will not bother why others look at them with fear. Their fear is the victory of the demons.

Then Bara casually pulled the servant's hand, dragging him into one of the rooms.

Unconcerned at the ear-shrinking scream of the young woman, Bara vented her passion while saying Keira's name over and over again.

"I'll come get you, baby."

Angels don't turn into demons just because of a woman, right?

"I'm not a demon, Keira and you're not an ordinary woman. You're my angel, I need an angel to restore my happiness."

Stay a good person.

"I will always be the best for you. Even I will forgive you for betraying me."
