No Rose Without A Thorn's

No Rose Without A Thorn's
Nada

Keira parked her car behind a large tree near Lets Read. He planned to wait for Nada to come out and follow him. Almost three hours he waited, but the girl he was waiting for did not come out. Finally Keira sees an employee of Lets Read walking out, Keira gets out of the car and chases after him.

"Wait, "Keira called.

The summoned girl turned her head and looked at Keira in surprise.

"You called me?"

Keira nodded.

"You work at Lets Read?"

"Can I help you?"

"Do you know the girl who worked there who got out of the hospital a while ago."

"Tone?"

Keira nodded.

"He hasn't been to work for three days."

"Is he sick?"

The girl shrugged her shoulders.

"Do you know where he lives?"

The girl showed me an entrance not far from Lets Read.

"Install and walk straight. In front of his house are many flowers."

"Thank you."

Keira walked following the clue hesitantly. He walked slowly until he found the house in question.

A small house with many unkempt flowers. Keira frowned seeing many dried plants inside the low-fenced courtyard. Keira searched for the bell but did not find it, he desperately wanted to open the gate because he did not want to scream from outside the fence.

"Did you not know that entering into someone else's yard without permission can be reported to the authorities?"

Keira flinched, Tone standing behind her.

"I'm sorry. I didn't find the bell."

Tone opened the fence and went inside the house, Keira was silent outside.

Tone put his shopping bag on the terrace chair and then entered the house. He returned within seconds with a brown envelope. On the terrace Nada looked at Keira who was still standing outside the fence.

"Come in if there's anything you want to talk about, "Tone took his shopping bag, put it on the floor so Keira can sit down.

Keira entered hesitantly, she did not extend her hand when Nada handed her the brown envelope.

"I'm sorry for my mother. He's just confused." Keira took the envelope doubtfully. Laughing tone.

"Your mother didn't seem to hesitate when she met me. He confidently said that I could go far away and not look for trouble because if he met me the second time, he would not hesitate to eliminate me by force."

Keira gasped, she could not believe her mother could say such cruel words.

"Is there something you want to ask again?" tanya Nada impatiently, involuntarily nudging her legs nudged the shopping bag, making Keira forced to turn her head and look at a medicine among other items.

"Are you sick?" ask Keira. Tone looked at the medicine in his shopping bag.

"Do you live alone?" keira asked, his head turned towards the closed door of the house.

"I don't think we're close enough to tell each other about personal life. Our business is done, you can go." Tone standing. Keira was silent.

"What's your relationship with Evan?" ask Keira at last.

Tone let out an annoyed breath.

"Why didn't you ask him?"

Keira looked at the girl in front of her who was looking at her with annoyance.

"Is there any other need?" tanya Nada was impatient.

"I'm sorry for what my mother did." Keira stands.

He actually wanted to see the scar on the nape of the hair-covered Tone, but seeing the girl so unfriendly, he undoes his intentions.

"Goodbye," Keira walked away.

"Are you the girl from Evan's past?"

Keira spontaneously stopped her footsteps. Tone waited for an answer but Keira remained silent.

"So it's true you, the one who has already given a deep enough wound to Brother Evan?"

Keira held tightness in her chest.

"I don't think we're close enough to talk to each other about personal matters." Keira replied to Nada's words. Laughing tone.

"You're right. We better not see each other again. But, how do you bring order to your sister who still came to see Brother Evan? Does he not know your past?"

Keira turned to look at Nada then asked.

"When have you known Evan?"

Nada won't tell.

"Do you really know him well? Do you know what he's hiding? Her past?" ask Keira.

"You seem too young to understand the wounds of others."

"Do you understand?" The back asked.

"I bet people like you will never understand. You live in your own pleasure. You come and go in the lives of others. You even feel entitled to send someone else to leave. Do you know the pain of being abandoned? Have you ever felt the pain of being ignored and having to live alone?" Tone asked emotionally.

"You left Evan's brother for your own glory, right?"

"Stop! You don't know anything!"

"Are you okay?"

Tone brushed off Keira's hand trying to help her.

"I don't need your help!" He pushed Keira, when Keira accidentally saw a scar on the nape of Nada.

Keira looked at Nada's face.

"Where did you get that scar?" ask Keira.

Nada looked at Keira in surprise, she had just kicked Keira out but the girl questioned her scar instead. Keira instead approached and pushed open the collar of Nada's neck forcefully to see it more clearly.

"Who are you really?" ask Keira hysterically. Confusion tone. Keira shakes her shoulders.

"Say, who are you?"

"What do you mean?" The back asked in confusion.

"Turn that wound. Tell me how you got it?"

Nada still looked at Keira with a confused look.

"I don't know." Finally Nada answered.

"How could you not know?" ask Keira.

"I don't know!" Tone snapping.

"Why are you concerned about someone else's scars?" Offended tone.

Keira looked at Nada's face, her heart full of questions.

"Can we talk all right?" asked Keira to be patient.

"No. I don't want to talk to you anymore!"

Keira frustrated and grabbed Nada's arm.

"I just wanted to ask you a few things."

"He won't answer!"

again Evan appeared like a ghost, startling the two women who were resting on the floor.

Evan helps Nada stand up until Keira is forced to release her hand.

"Do you not know the manners of making a fuss in people's homes?" ask Evan.

Just silence. Keira looked at Evan angrily, her eyes reddened.

"You...."

"Go now." Nada tells Keira to leave. Keira looked at Nada and Evan and then forcedly stepped away. Two steps away, Evan cried out in panic

"Nad, what's wrong with you?"

Keira turned around and saw Nada fall unconscious.

*

Keira pecked at the door of Nada's room, seeing the doctor examine Nada's condition. Evan stood behind Keira.

"Why are you here?" ask Evan.

"What's your relationship?" Keira asked back.

"You guys live together?" ask Keira again.

"What is your business?"

Keira looked out of the room, towards the kitchen and the tv room. He saw photos of Evan and Nada everywhere.

"You jealous?" ask Evan.

Keira smiled faintly.

"Sorry, I don't care about your private life."

"Then you don't have to care about Tone's life either."

"Who is he really?"Keira still insisted on asking. Evan approached Keira then whispered softly, "It's none of your business."

"He's fine. Just fever from fatigue." The doctor out of the room looked at Evan who was standing too close to Keira.

"Miss Keira?"

Keira reflexively distanced herself from Evan and looked at the doctor in confusion, the doctor looked back at Evan and Keira alternately.

"I'm also a doctor at a clinic near Mr. Bara's office." The doctor explained.

"I'm coming to your engagement party."

"Oh..." Keira tried to smile, suddenly she was agitated. The doctor looked at Evan and gave him a prescription and went home.

Keira looked at the sleeping tone.

"Is anyone looking after him?" ask Keira again.

"Your question is ridiculous. You can go home now."

"You guys are living together?" Keira asked again.

"Do you have to keep asking that?"

Keira looked at Evan and said slowly.

"Please, forget our past."
