Blind Love

Keira was lying on the lap of Nada who was busy typing something on her phone.

They had a picnic on the beach.

"Zea, did you hear Brother?" keira asked annoyed that he had spoken twice and ignored Nada.

"Yes, I heard. They seem to be dating." Tone looked at Dizza and Adrian who were playing kites.

"They look like fools. The sky wouldn't fly if it just ran here and there, would it?" Laughing, Keira laughed.

"Why sometimes people who date look like stupid or pathetic people, like you."

"What did you say?" Keira rose from her sleep.

A laughing tone looked at Keira who looked annoyed.

"But Where's Evan? Why didn't he come? Did you guys fight again?"

"He didn't come because there was a mother. She's still not good at meeting Mom." Keira looked at Lestari who was sunbathing alone.

"Did you know you were together again?" ask Nada.

Keira shakes. He dared not speak to his mother. Tone was busy watching his phone.

"What are you doing?" Keira was curious, she peeked at the phone of Nada which was instantly closed by Nada.

"Whatis that?Are you chatting with someone?" keira asked suspiciously.

"No!"

"Evan?!" suddenly Keira gave a startled cry, Nada turned her head, Keira took advantage of the opportunity to grab Nada's phone. The screen is still open. Nada is chatting with the barista course admin.

"What's this?" Keira asked.

Nada snatched her phone, shyly telling her that when exiled in Singapore she wanted to learn to be a barista. He failed to make it happen because he returned to Indonesia when he heard Keira was in danger.

"Then when I accompanied Dizza there again, I met them again." said Nada slowly.

"Why are you hiding it?"

"I'm not hiding it, just looking for the right time to tell."

"How long will you learn?"

"Maybe a month, or two months or ..."

Keira looked at Nada with a piercing look.

"Well, two months!" Tone replied.

"Should you study there? There's nothing here?" Keira felt heavy letting Tone go again as they had just gathered.

"There's, uh, but .. there's someone waiting for me there." Admitting tone.

"But if you don't let me, I won't go."

Keira looked at Nada and laughed.

"All right, go there." Keira gave permission for not wanting to curb her sister.

Tone laughed happily then hugged Keira. Keira sat back on Nada's lap.

"Zea, aren't you confused about being called two different names?"

"No. Both are my names, right?"

"Zea, didn't you say you liked Evan?"

"I loved it to this day," Nada replied, leaving Keira speechless.

"I love and love her just as much as I love my sister. I just realized that I love him as my brother. He replaced the brother that was lost."

Keira smiled and felt relieved.

"Was she okay? He missed a lot of his grief alone, bringing his misunderstanding alone."

"Why did you suddenly come?" Keira switched the conversation.

"I decided to face the challenge. We can't keep hiding from your mother, can we? How can we marry without your mother's blessing."

"Married?" Keira repeated Evan's words.

"Who will marry?" ask Keira annoyed. He was not planning to get married suddenly.

"Hmm, I mean even though we're not getting married yet, but we can't keep in secret from your mother. I feel like we're cheating!"

"cheating?Who's cheating?" suddenly Lestari appears from behind Keira and Evan.

"Mother?! Didn't you just sunbathe there?" ask Keira to worry.

"It looks like your eyes are just your eyes looking at this guy until you don't see Mom walking in here?!"

"I'm sorry, Mom, I really don't see. Why is Mom here?"

Lestari looked at Evan sharply.

"Mom should have asked this child. Why are you here?" tanya Lestari half shouted.

Dizzah and Nada looked at them from afar. They approached to find out.

Evan and Keira did not answer.

"I repeat my question. Why are you here, looking at my son and saying you're having an affair?" ask Lestari.

"cheating?" Tone and Dizza looked at Evan sharply.

Evan felt like he was in court. The court contains illogical women.

"Look, you guys misunderstood." Keira tries to explain, helping Evan.

Nada and Dizza sat on Lestari's side.

Keira and Evan bow as if they were defendants in a theft case.

"Keira, explain it to Mom!"

"Explain what, ma'am?"

"Why is he here?"

"I don't know. Why would he be here? Isn't this a public place?" Keira defends Evan.

"Why don't you just go to another public place?" ask Mrs Lestari grumbling.

"Because ... because ...." Evan's restless.

"Because I love Keira!" Evan called out quickly.

A second the atmosphere became silent, only the sound of wind and the pounding of the waves sounded.

Keira closed her face in embarrassment. Tone and Dizza were outstretched, Lestari coughed in shock.

"How dare you!" Lestari wants to hit Evan. Nada and Dizza arrest Lestari, Keira tries to get in the way.

"Are you protecting her now?" ask Mother.

Keira goes awry, he relents, retreats and lets mom hit Evan.

"How dare you say you love her after you hurt her .. you .. really ...."

"Mom, stop!" Keira tried to stop her mother.

Lestari did not care, he continued to hit Evan until accidentally made Keira encouraged. Instead of apologizing, Lestari instead turned to hit Keira.

"You too, are there no other men? Don't tell me you love her too! You think you're playing a drama?"

Tone and Evan rounded their lips. Seeing Keira being hit, Evan immediately hugged Keira, protecting Keira and allowing himself to be hit. Lestari's getting angry.

"Who dare you touch and hug my daughter?!" Lestari pulls Evan away.

"Mrs .. Please forgive me! Just hit me, I'm guilty of daring to love her after hurting her heart. I'm sorry!"

"Mom, forgive us." Keira finally dared to speak.

Lestari's out of breath. He stopped beating and looked at his daughter.

"Why are you apologizing?"

"Because I love her too."

Evan was stunned to hear Keira's confession being uttered in front of his mother and two younger siblings who were like gossip-filled ladies-in-waiting.

Mother looked at Keira with annoyance.

"After everything that happened, you have no other choice?" ask Mother.

Keira nodded, "I .. never choose anyone else." Answer Keira honestly.

"I never had anyone else either. From the beginning I just chose him." Evan. The two sat down in front of Mom.

"You!" Lestari rebuked both.

Keira retreated a little, frightened.

"Mom, can't you see the love of both?" ask Dizza.

"Even both cheeks are flushed." Chiming tone.

Keira glanced at her two younger siblings in annoyance.

They did not help, instead making Lestari even more upset.

"Evan, you know best all that Keira has ever been through, why do you still dare to be with her?"

Evan did not answer.

"And you, Keira. You ... Mom's out of words ... Why are you still willing to accept him?" Lestari desperate.

"Is it for you that love so blinds your eyes?" ask Lestari.

Keira and Evan just looked down.

"Gat!" Lestari snapped at Evan who immediately raised her face looking at Lestari.

"Yes, Madam ...."

"If until I see my son crying again or suffering because of you, I will never forgive you!"

Keira and Evan looked at Lestari. Lestari did not want to see the two, she stood up and just left.

Evan and Keira looked at each other.

"Is this real? Is it over? Is it really over? Just like?" Evan still can't believe Lestari gave him his blessing.

"That's it?" Dizza interjected, he crossed arms in place of Lestari.

"It's not a blessing, it's a threat!" Laughing tone. Then Dizza and Nada looked at Evan.

"Really, I'm not gonna mess around. If we see her crying again, you won't survive in the world even in hell!" Dizza threatened and left with Nada.

Keira gawked at the madness she had just faced.

My family is terrible.

"You okay?" keira looked at Evan. Evan looked at Keira with fear.

"I should have asked you, are you okay? Your mother and sister are amazing. You don't have to pay the bodyguards anymore, they're enough!" evan said annoyed.

Keira laughed and grabbed Evan's arm while whispering, "You regret dating me?"

"I'm sorry I didn't do it before." Evan looked at Keira with a smile.

They sat looking at the darkening sky.

The sky can change in an instant.

Sometimes it's light, sometimes it's dark.

Sometimes in the dark I step wrong.

I know that behind every beauty of twilight, there is darkness waiting.

I'm afraid of facing the dark, but I can't ignore the beauty of the transition of the sun's journey.

Lord, let me enjoy this beauty for a little longer.

Give me the courage to meet the dark and light with him..
