Suspicions

The accident case involving Nada, Dizza and Keira just passed by. Kusuma silenced all media. Neither Dizza nor Nada sued or apologized.

Kusuma's family bore the cost of Nada's hospital, but no one saw him after the envelope case left by Mrs Lestari. Keira who protested against her mother's actions did not get any results, according to her mother it was the best solution.

"You see, he's quiet with the envelope."

"Mother's wrong. He didn't take it."

"The truth is the envelope didn't come back" I felt like I won.

Keira snorted annoyedly.

"Why are you defending him anyway?" ask Mother.

Keira sat in the chair and pondered."I don't know, I feel like there's something about that girl."

"Don't think shit. Such people only seek profit ...."

"Those kind of people?!" Keira raised her voice. He began to get upset at Mrs Lestari who seemed to forget that they were not well enough.

Mrs Lestari was silent, she knew Keira was angry.

"We've been in a state like them, and as I recall we've never been for profit!" Keira slammed the door and left her mother. He passed by Dizzah who looked at him in wonder.

The tone is almost recovered but has not been able to walk normally. He quit his job at a florist's shop, instead working at Let's Read, Evan's bookstore. He does not work but sits in a barn.

Nada tries to remember all her past but the result is nil. He still has not found his real name.

Evan noticed Nada and felt pity, lately he rarely met Nada because he was busy plotting revenge with someone who also hated the Kusuma family.

"Are you okay?" ask Evan.

The tone looked uninspired. "I remember another piece, but I still haven't made it."

"No need to force it." Evan. Evan noticed the necklace in Nada's grasp, then he seemed to recall something.

"Can I see that necklace?" ask Evan.

Tone handed him over, "Sometimes I feel the necklace doesn't mean anything. But I can't throw it away."

Evan observes the necklace but is unable to find an answer.

"May you remember it immediately."

Tone does not answer, it dissolves in its own delusion.

Keira walks alone, he is annoyed at Mrs Lestari and wants to entertain himself. He was driving in an uncertain direction and suddenly he stopped in front of Lets Read because he felt he saw someone he knew.

Keira gets out of the car and tries to notice the man she sees similar to Evan, but a group of schoolchildren block her view. Keira took a breath.

"Is he really in town?" ask Keira in my heart.

"But even if he comes back, it doesn't mean anything anymore." Keira pondered while playing her engagement ring. Then he saw Nada walking staggered, immediately Keira got out of the car and chased after Nada.

"Hey, wait!" Keira called but Nada did not hear. He stumbles to find Evan at the end of the road. Keira again blocked a group of school children, he should be able to follow the steps of Tone who limped.

"Sister, you left your wallet!" Nada called Evan and said she was waiting for him at the end of the road. Evan immediately turned to meet Nada while Keira was already at a close distance to Nada. He will call Nada but he is stopped when he sees Nada talking to Evan.

Keira does not recognize Evan wearing a helmet, he just waits while playing his phone. He just wanted to take back the envelope from his mother so that the woman did not misunderstand Nada. When Evan finally left, Keira called out to Nada.

"You, the broken-bone girl." Keira yells. Tone turned his head and looked at Keira in surprise.

"Can we talk?" ask Keira.

Nada insists on speaking in front of Lets Read even though Keira offers to have lunch. Keira relented, they sat down in front of Lets Read while sipping a drink. Keira just put the drink on the table.

"Please don't misunderstand me. I just wanted to ask you the envelope ...."

"Ah, I understand," interrupted Nada.

"I left the envelope at home, you can pick it up at my house."

Keira seemed to dislike the way Nada spoke so bluntly.

"So, when do you want to take it?" ask Nada. Keira looked at Nada's feet.

"Are you okay?" the question just slid from Keira's mouth making Nada laugh, "Of course."

Nada looked down at her feet, just then Keira caught a glimpse of the scar on Nada's nape. The look on Keira's face turned startled, he looked at Nada suspiciously.

"May I see ...."

Keira's sentence was cut off by the sound of the motor stopping right in front of them.

"Why did you come back?" tanya Nada was surprised to ignore Keira.

Evan, unaware of Keira's presence, opens his helmet, just as Keira looks at him. They looked and exclaimed in shock.

"You!" Keira stood up and held her chest. Evan looked at Keira inside.

"Yes, it's me." Evan replied casually.

Evan told Nada to enter the store, not caring about the questionable gaze of Nada.

"You, are you okay?" keira asked restlessly.

"I'm fine, why are you restless?" ask Evan.

Keira did not answer. He never thought he would see Evan again. During this time he thought Kusuma had gotten rid of Evan, he was relieved that Evan was still alive.

Evan looked at Keira, a million memories flashed across his head. How much he loved Keira, the girl who now felt strange before him.

"What's it like to live as a traitor?" ask the sadistic Evan.

Keira did not expect Evan to be that rough at their first meeting.

"You...."

"It's good to see you today" Evan interrupted Keira.

"I want to say one thing. I'll avenge you all!" Evan's eyes were red withstanding anger.

"You misunderstood me!" Keira screeches.

"Misunderstand? Yes, I did misunderstand you for ever believing you!"

Keira held back her tears, not expecting Evan to hate her so much.

"Evan, I ...."

"I don't need your explanation. Go home, and tell your mother, I'll avenge you all."

"My mother is innocent!" Keira defends her mother.

"Will my mother be guilty?someone obviously killed him!"

"Your mother killed herself!" Keira shouted back.

Evan's breaking the table. "How dare you ...."

Keira remained silent. All the pieces of the past swirled around in his mind. Evan approached Keira and lowered his voice.

"Darling, I'll look forward to our next meeting."

"There is no next meeting. I don't want to see you again!"

"It's not you who decides! We'll meet again to solve our past!"

Evan leaves Keira alone.

Evan did not plan to meet Keira all of a sudden, therefore he felt annoyed. Seeing Keira's face up close had shaken his heart. She was eager to hug Keira to vent her longing, but the shadows on her mother and sister's faces hardened her heart.

Keira looks shocked, he did not expect Evan to return to this city at all. He knew Evan would blame his family for everything that happened to his mother.

The night Keira was supposed to pick up Zea, she was supposed to meet Evan. They promised to go together, out of the circle of Kusuma's life.

But something happens, Keira can't pick up Zea or meet Evan.

That night was a disaster for them. Keira cried remembering a day she would never forget in her entire life.

Likewise Evan, he will not be able to forget the actions of Keira who reneged on their promise. For hours Evan waited for Keira, but the girl never came. When he came home, he saw some men coming out of his house and he found his mother swallowing all the drugs. Her mother could not be saved without having to explain anything, the next day, when she and her brother were supposed to bury her mother, Hans plunged off a cliff. He was also found dead. Evan, who was still a schoolboy, did not know what to do. In the midst of his confusion he met Kusuma who even kicked him out.

"Go you! I'm not your father!"

"It wasn't Dad, did he, who killed mom?" asked Evan in tears.

Kusuma did not answer, he ordered his men to drive Evan out of the city.

Evan was taken to an orphanage out of town. For several years Evan lived there and met Nada. A lost child loses a memory of his adoptive parents.

Keira and Evan both cried in different places. Both of them condemned the bad luck. Suddenly the two realized something suspicious. Evan remembered the necklace of Nada, while Keira remembered the scar on the nape of Nada.

"Did Zea really die?" keira asked suspiciously.

Evan recalls Keira's story about his sister.

"My sister is very agile. He will not cry when disturbed. He'll fight it."

"I'll pick him up. I'm not leaving him!"

Evan wondered in his heart.

"Did you lose your sister or did you end up leaving her?"

Evan investigated deeper.

Until now he had never met Keira's younger brother.
