Ending: Roses and Thorns

Keira woke up and instantly took the clock beside the table. 0815.

He's late.

Keira lamented all of Evan's seduction last night that kept her awake in the middle of the night and was finally able to fall asleep again by morning.

Surely he had reminded Evan and himself that he had a meeting this morning at the office. I don't know what possessed Evan woke Keira up in the middle of the night, begging and teasing her. And Keira just obeyed Evan's will.

Now he has less than an hour to get ready and travel to the office.

Keira nagged when she saw Evan who had finished preparing for work, Evan did wake up early but he did not want to disturb Keira's sleep, so he did not wake Keira.

Within twenty minutes, Keira was ready. He had to hurry because the trip to the office took more than 20 minutes. He was just about to leave the room when Evan went inside. Evan looked at Keira who was standing looking at him in confusion.

"Hey, what's wrong with you?" Keira shook her hand in front of Keira.

Evan caught Keira's hand.

"Where are you going?" asked Evan in a daze.

"To where? Of course it works."

"Why are you dressing up so beautiful?"

Keira looked at herself and felt that there was nothing different from her usual appearance at the office.

"Aren't I like this every day? Stop your seduction, I need to get to the office." Keira said annoyed.

Evan caught Keira's hand.

"What to the office for? Just work at home, okay?" Evan smiled mischievously.

"Don't start!" Keira kisses Evan's lips.

"OK, enough?" Keira wants to leave soon.

"Not yet." Evan kisses Keira again and makes his wife almost forget the land.

"Van, stop. You can get me fired again!"

Evan kept pushing Keira into bed.

"I've asked your father for permission that you can't come to the office today."

"What's? You're crazy!" Keira was upset.

"Because we're also going to do something important for your father's company!"

Keira scrunched her forehead.

"That important task is to give your father a successor!" said Evan while biting Keira's ear.

Keira laughed out loud. According to him Evan has gone too far, using all means to hold him longer.

"Yet your father gave me a warning when we got married. First, making you happy, second giving him a successor. I'm trying to do both."

Keira still laughed. Evan again seduced by all means, Keira could no longer dodge. With great difficulty he picked up his cell phone and sent a message to his secretary.

Please let me know that I cannot attend today's meeting.

Keira gave up on Evan.

I never really knew what married life was like.

"Keira, have you noticed any signs of pregnancy?" mother asked one day when Keira was visiting home.

Keira forced herself to smile.

Keira smiled, "I'm fine, Mom."

"But why are you here at work?" asked Lestari in surprise, he only realized that Keira should be at work.

"I just want to come here, " answered Keira honestly.

I looked at Keira in surprise.

"Did you guys fight? Your face doesn't look good."

"Is my face really not good?" ask Keira wonder.

"You quarreled?" Mother investigated.

"Why did you come here alone? You're just weird."

"The strange mother. I just want to come back here and see Mom. I don't know why I miss you."

Keira hugged Mom. I had to smile even though I felt a little strange.

Keira is not in a good mood. He just wanted to go home, hug his mother, and sleep in his old room. He had told Evan to pick him up at mom's when he got home.

Why are you going there? Are you all right?

Yeah, I just miss my house and my room.

Keira just smiled reading the last message but deliberately did not want to reply.

Evan's still sending messages. Keira still did not reply. Evan runs out of patience and calls Keira.

Keira lay down while thinking about her mother's words, suddenly she was a little scared.

Keira went back to the bathroom.

Mother who happened to pass in front of the room whose door was open, heard the voices of Keira and Evan.

"Are you okay?" ask Evan.

Keira did not answer, her head felt dizzy. He sits on the edge of the bed.

"Don't you get pregnant!" exclaim mom.

This is what Keira fears, her mother's guess. He does not want to give hope.

Evan looked at Keira.

"I'm just not feeling well, Mom." Keira gave an explanation.

"Have you checked yourself?" ask Mother. Keira shakes. Evan sat down in front of Keira.

"What ... what ... You don't want to check?" ask Evan carefully.

"You want to know?" Keira asked back. Still feeling nauseous, Keira stood up and then suddenly everything went dark.

"Please take care of your wife's diet. Repeated events like this can be dangerous for his health."

Keira glanced at Evan who was listening to the doctor's description.

There was a hint of disappointment on Evan's face but when he looked at Keira he smiled.

"I'll ban you from working if you still don't pay attention to mealtimes!"

Keira hissed annoyed.

"You're disappointed, right?" ask Keira. Keira knew that she was not pregnant, she only suffered from heartburn because she missed meals too often.

"Slightly, "Evan admitted and laughed.

"I never thought you were pregnant just because you were vomiting. I've seen you get sick for no reason. It's just that when mom says it, well, I'm suddenly curious."

Keira laughs. He asks Evan to tell his mother the truth. Evan nodded then kissed Keira on the forehead.
