No Rose Without A Thorn's

No Rose Without A Thorn's
Baskoro

Along the way to the house, Dizza and Keira kept quiet. Previously they had argued because Keira forbade Dizza to meet with Evan. Dizza asked the reason that Keira answered with one firm word.

"Don't ask. Believe in Brother that that person is not a good person!"

"Do you know him?" Dizza still can't believe it.

Keira did not answer, in response he drove his car quickly, making Dizza scared.

Dizza stomped her legs in annoyance upon entering the house, Lestari was confused to see her two children coming home in a strange state. One walked while angry, one walked indifferently. The two did not rebuke each other as usual, even ignoring their father and mother who were staring at the two in wonder in the living room.

"What's wrong with them?" ask Lestari wonder. Kusuma did not respond to his wife, he drank his coffee and went back to reading the newspaper, but only a few lines rang out upstairs.

"Sister said, go back to your room!"

BRAK!! The sound of the door slamming. Lestari held onto her chest then glanced at Kusuma fearfully. He knew Keira was slamming the door. Lestari stood up.

"Let me see what happens..."

"Not to." Kusuma folded his newspaper. Lestari looks worried, she is afraid that Kusuma is acting, but her husband just folds the newspaper and takes the coffee cup back.

"Aren't brothers supposed to be like that?" ask Kusuma while sipping his coffee.

Lestari was silent, she looked at Kusuma who seemed not to hear the fight of the two girls upstairs even though Dizza was still screaming furiously while banging on the door of Keira's room. Kusuma seemed to be enjoying their quarrel.

Shouldn't brothers be like that?

Lestari repeated Kusuma's words in her heart and smiled, just for a moment because the next time she remembered the figure of another daughter, Zea.

"Explain to me everything!!" Tone folded his hands across his chest, demanding Evan's explanation. He was angry because he felt lied to by Evan.

"When did you know them?"

Evan still didn't answer.

"All right, don't answer my question. I'm used to being ignored!" The walking tone held back her cries.

"Nad, I'm sorry" Evan said slowly.

Tone continued to tread sadly.

"Lad..."

Tone did not listen to Evan, he slammed his new phone into the table and walked home.

Tone crying in his room, he really felt alone. All this time he was used to being ignored. Ever since her adoptive parents died, her Aunt who was supposed to take care of her left her in an orphanage. At the orphanage and at school, Nada barely has any friends due to her grumpy nature. Only Evan had understood him all along. Evan always defended her like his own brother. Even Evan helped her go to college and find a place to stay when Nada came out of the orphanage.

Nada was disappointed that Evan, whom she had believed all along, lied to her. Evan knew that he had been dealing with the brothers Keira and Dizza, but Evan never once said that he knew them.

Seeing the way Keira and Evan spoke, Nada even suspected that the two had known each other for a long time. Tone wiped his tears and then he remembered Keira's gaze, at first he remembered something similar. It was like he had seen such a look. Tone held his head, a flash of memory toying with him.

"Sister, Brother must have come, right?"

"Sister, I want to eat fried chicken!"

"Sister, help me...."

Nada took her necklace and then cursed in annoyance.

"Who's the brother that always haunts me?"

Then he recalled Keira peeping at him in the hospital and Keira scolding Dizza at the bookstore.

"If only the brother I was looking for was like him. Someone who loves his sister very much."

Nada eventually fell asleep in a state of anger. In his sleep, Tada dreamed.

Wait Brother, Brother is coming.

Lestari meets Keira and asks what happened between her and Dizzah.

"Why are you fighting?" tanya Lestari wanted to know. Keira did not answer.

"Dizza said you forbid him from meeting someone. Why?" ask Lestari again.

Keira looked at her mother, she had already told Dizza to keep it a secret from their father and mother.

"Because that guy is Evan!"

"What?!" Lestari's sudden headache.

"How come? What the hell's going on? Does Dizza know who Evan is?"

Lestari seemed to think. "Do you want that kid?"

"Revenge."

"Have you met him?" ask Lestari.

Keira nodded despite not saying lately he had met Evan too often who threatened him.

"Mom, what exactly happened?Does he actually have the right to father's property?"

"Omong empty!!Did he tell you?"

Keira remained silent. He was too confused to face his mother.

"I went to that orphanage..."

"You...?!" Lestari held his head.

"Zea, it's alive, isn't it, Mom?" ask Keira.

"Are you crazy? Your sister's buried! Stop bringing her up so she's happy!"

"But I feel like he's alive!"

"Then you should think that your sister is living happily in a world different from ours!"

Lestari looked at Keira furiously.

"Listen mother. Don't ever see Evan, and don't talk about your sister!"

Keira did not answer.

"If you want us all to be safe, we must act before them!"

"They're who?" ask Keira wonder.

"Baskoro. He must have been out of prison."

"Who's Baskoro?" Keira was confused.

"He's the cause of all this mess! He's Evan's uncle!"

Keira gasped, she did not understand her mother's conversation.

"Mom, you better explain everything to me."

Lestari looked at her daughter and shook her head.

"You don't have to worry, I'll get it done."

Keira wanted to believe Lestari's words but she grew even more worried.

**

A man was smoking a cigarette while laughing in the corner of his study.

"After such a long time, Kusuma ended up only nurturing three stupid women!"

Evan looked at the man in silence. Indeed, he did not like Baskoro - the man he called uncle - but this man was the only member of his family left.

"Evan, you must avenge the deaths of your mother and brother!"

Evan did not answer. He looked at Baskoro's back and realized that he did not have many memories of the man. He even doubted whether the man was really his mother's brother.

His mother was a man who never spoke rudely to him, while Baskoro was a cruel man, almost similar to Kusuma. While in prison, Baskoro continues to send his envoys to search for Evan, while finding him in an orphanage, Baskoro gives Evan the opportunity to be independent. He gives Evan plenty of treasure to start a life outside the orphanage.

"Have you left that bookstore?" ask Baskoro.

"I plan on selling it before the girl offers an interesting cooperation."

Baskoro laughs.

"Alright, Uncle trust you," Baskoro still laughed as he left the pensive Evan.

"Find out about the girl who's always with Evan!" Baskoro gave orders to his men while in the car.

"Good, Sir."

Baskoro smoked back his cigarette and stared at the street outside the window.

"The time is coming soon, I'll take it back!" Baskoro said in his heart as he looked at the building with the inscription

KUSUMA Centre.
