(S2): Meeting
The bedroom door opened, Charlotte surging in surprise from the bed.
"Follow me!"said the man.
Charlotte follows the man wherever he goes. The man stopped in a room and knocked on the door. A voice came from behind the door.
" Login!"
The man pushed Charlotte in, then closed the door again leaving her there together with the kidnapper.
" Who are you?"
A man turned the chair and smiled.
"Hello Charlotte!"
" Uncle Michael," he was surprised.
" We finally meet again. I admit you're very smart to escape from the dungeon."
"Where do you know I'm here?"
" I'll know wherever you are. Ever since you ran away I've been watching you for a few days and even Lewis and I followed you all the way to New York. You must want to know how I found you."
Charlotte nodded.
"Your wedding ring."
Chatlotte looked at Michael not understanding .
"I've put a very small tracking device in there under your diamond ring."
Charlotte immediately saw the ring.
" Surely you didn't suspect it, did you?"
Michael smiled triumphantly.
" How can you put a tracking device in my ring?"
" Didn't you remember, I took your ring off forcibly, then returned it to you."
"I remember. If you know I'm here, why don't you arrest me right away?"
" I deliberately didn't catch you, because I knew you'd take me to your son, Jodan."
" I've lost track of my son and now I don't know where Jodan is."
" Jodan is here with me."
" What?"shaken surprised. " How can it be?"
" I told people to kidnap her."
" Where is my son now?"
" Calm Charlotte! Your son is fine. I'm not gonna kill him now before you meet. I'm good."
Charlotte growled furiously.
" Where did you find my son?"
" Have you not seen the news in the paper?"
" What news?"
" It turns out you didn't read it."
Michael threw the newspaper on the table.
" Read!"
Charlotte picked up the newspaper and read it.
" So you think Leonard is really my son?"
" Of course."
"It's possible that Leonard wasn't my son even though he was the same name and lived in the same orphanage as my son. Maybe there's another kid who has the same name."
"I thought so at first, too, but I still kidnapped him to prove whether he was Jodan, your son or not."
" What evidence did you find?"
Michael wobbled into his pants pocket and put a necklace on the table.
" It's your son's, isn't it?"
Charlotte took the necklace and examined it. He's surprised. The necklace belonged to his son, because he gave it to him. Charlotte cried when it turned out Leonard was her son.
" I'm going to let her go."
"No."
" If you want that throne, just take it. You don't have to kill us. Besides, people don't know who Leonard is yet."
" If I just let you two go, there's a chance you'll claim the throne from me."
" Wouldn't."
" I'm not that stupid."
" So what do you want now?"
"Kill you both."
"You're completely insane."
" If you want to marry me, I won't kill you."
" It's better to kill me than to marry you and lose my son forever."
" Well if that's what you want."
" Find me with my son."
Michael calls a man and tells him to take Charlotte to Leonard. The man took Charlotte to the basement, then opened the door of the room and told Charlotte to come in.
Charlotte finds Leonard lying on a small bed. Leonard wakes up when he sees Charlotte.
"Aunt Charlotte, what's Aunt doing here?"
Charlotte immediately hugged Leonard and cried making the man confused.
"What's wrong?"
Charlotte let go of his embrace, then wiped away her tears.
" I'm sorry. Did they hurt you?"
"So far they haven't hurt me."
" Thankfully. We finally get to meet after all these years."
"What does Aunt mean?"
" I'm not your aunt, but I'm my mother."
"What's? That's not possible."
"That's right. I just found out about it from Michael."
" Who's Michael?"
" Uncle your father."
" Am I really your son?"
"Yes. I'm giving you a necklace that says your name and a picture of an eagle."
Charlotte put her hand in her pants pocket.
" This is your necklace, isn't it?"
Leonard took the necklace from Charlotte's hand.
" This is my necklace."
" I gave it to you."
" So you're really my mom?"
" yes. "
" Mom."
Leonard hugged Charlotte while crying. " I finally got to meet my real mother."
" I am too."
Charlotte let go of her embrace and looked at her child with tears. His thin hands caressed Leonard's face.
" Mom misses you so much."
Charlotte kissed Leonard.
" I miss Mom too."
Charlotte hugged Leonard.
" What exactly happened?"
" Michael wanted to kill us both so he could take the throne completely. Your father is dead, so the throne falls to you, because you are the heir to the throne."
" I'm the King's candidate?"tanyanya did not believe.
" yes. Michael wanted the throne, so he wanted to kill us both. That's why I left you from the orphanage to keep you safe."
" I still can't believe that Alu is the future King."
" How did you know I was here?"
" Michael called Raina and told Mom to come here."
" Pity Raina. He must be very worried."
" He's really worried about you."
" We need to get out of here."
" How is it?"
" I don't know and there's one thing I don't understand. How does Michael know that I'm Jodan?"
" From your confession."
" Ah yes of course. If it wasn't for Owen being tried in court for the murder of Leonard Clemonte maybe I would never have opened my identity to the public."

The next day Charlotte and Leonard were brought to Michael. The man gave a big smile.
"Are you happy to have met your son, Charlotte?"
"I'm happy."
" And what about you, Jodan, are you also happy to have met your mother?"
" My name is not Jodan. I'm glad to see my mom."
"Good, but your togetherness will not last long, for I will kill you using the death penalty for you. I'll give you a poison injection into your body."
" You're cruel,"Anged Charlotte.
" You can still survive, if you're willing to accept my offer."
" I don't want to take it."
" Then you get ready to die with your beloved son."
The man took Charlotte and Leonard to a different room and they were in a holder on a wooden chair and their hands were tied.
" I'm sad to have to leave my wife like this. Raina must be very sad to know I'm dead, I haven't even met her for the last time."
" I'm sorry, Mom."
"Why do you have to apologize?"
" Because I've put your life at risk."
" Mommy's innocent, so don't apologize."
Meanwhile, police are scouting the house where Charlotte and Leonard are being held. A police officer disguised as one of the maids came bearing news.
" The two of them will soon be killed by injecting them with poison."
" We don't have time anymore. You go back inside. We'll be there soon.
" Good."
The police then called Fabian and gave him the latest information. Fabian who received a call from the police became increasingly anxious and agitated.
" What's up, Dad?"
" The kidnapper will kill Charlotte and Leonard."
" no. Don't let them do it."
Raina cries and Miya hugs Raina.
" Relax! The police are trying to save them. Everything's gonna be okay."

Michael and Lewis come to the room where Charlotte and Leonard are. The two smiled happily at their captives who were waiting for their deaths in a moment. Leonard stared furiously at the two of them. He tried to untie his hands on the chair.
" Sit down quietly! You won't be able to untie that bond" Lewis said.
" Is there anything you want to say before we sentence you to death?"ask Michael.
Charlotte and Leonard were silent.
" Well, that's it" said Michael.
The man signs someone to inject poison into Charlotte's body first. Syringes that already contain poison are ready to be injected.
" I love you, Leonard," Charlotte's resigned whisper accepted her death.
Leonard began to shed tears when he saw his mother was about to be injected to death. Just as they met, they had to split back up for good.
" I love you too, Mom."
Charlotte smiled sadly. The man had brought the syringe close to Charlotte's hand, and the door opened. They were shocked to see that many policemen had surrounded them.
" Don't move!"police orders.
No one is moving. Leonard and Charlotte were relieved that help had arrived on time, while Michael and Lewis became furious and enraged. He ran to Charlotte and Leonard to kill them both. Police shot Lewis in the chest and he died.
Michael was getting angry to see his sister killed by a gunshot. The police arrested everyone in the room one by one. Michael takes a crack at the police and runs towards Charlotte and takes her hostage.
" You guys don't move otherwise I'll kill him" Michael said as he placed a knife around Charlotte's neck.
Michael untied Charlotte's hand in the chair, then took her out. No one dared to move. Outside the room Michael dragged Charlotte.
" Take me off!"
" I won't let you go until I get away."
The police chased them in the back. In the front yard of the house Michael opens the car door and forces Charlotte to enter.
"Mbuuuu," cried Leonard who saw his mother had been taken away.
Several policemen chase the car driven by Michael. Leonard was very worried about his mother's condition. The police escort Leonard back home.
In the car Charlotte tried to open the car door, but her efforts were in vain.
" Hush!"snapped Michael.
"I beg you to surrender. I'll forgive you, if you'll admit your mistake."
Michael was still driving at high speed and he realized the police were chasing him.
"Damn!"
" I beg you to stop this stupid act of yours."
" I hate Joseph" he said later. " He can get what he wants including marrying you. I fell in love with you when Joseph took you to the palace.
Everyone always flattered her and was hailed, while I was just her shadow. I finally couldn't take it anymore. I planned to kill him."
" So you killed Joseph?"tanyanya did not believe.
"really. I've engineered his car to make him crash."
"I guess it was just a regular accident."
Charlotte was angry with Michael.
" You're really mean," Charlotte growled. He also slammed the steering wheel suddenly and the way the car became shrewd. Michael lost control and the car rolled on the road.
The police car that was chasing them stopped and immediately helped them. Charlotte and Michael were seriously injured and they were taken to hospital.

Fabian, Miya, and Raina immediately went to the hospital after getting word from the police. Raina hugged her husband.
" Are you okay?"ask Raina worriedly.
"I'm fine, but my mom's not okay."
Leonard's face was very tangled and his face was already wet with tears. Miya sat down next to Leonard and rubbed her shoulders.
"Your mother will be fine" said Miya although her heart also felt unsure if Charlotte could survive or not.
The doctor came out and told her that Charlotte was in critical condition, while Michael, her life could not be saved. Leonard went straight to his unconscious mother.
" Why did all this have to happen? We just met, but now my mom's critical."
Raina hugged her husband and cried with him.
"Charlotte is a very strong woman. He must have made it through his critical period" Fabian said.

News of Charlotte's abduction turned out to be a Queen and Leonard whose son had been broadcast on TV. Joseph watched the news and was very surprised.
" It's time you met them. Go then! Your family needs you."
Joseph nodded. He immediately put all his clothes in his suitcase. Before he left, he said goodbye to the man who had helped him.
" Thank you for all your help to me. I'll never forget it."
" I know. Go now!"
Joseph got out of the house and into the taxi that was waiting for him and would take him straight to the hospital.
" Wait for me, Charlotte! Don't die yet! I still need you to stay by my side" whispered his heart.
Joseph arrived at the hospital the following night. He went into Charlotte's treatment room. In the room there was no one and he was so sad to see the state of his wife.35 years they had not met and he could meet his wife again in a critical condition. Joseph was crying by the bed.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry" repeated many times.
Joseph kissed Charlotte's hand longingly. He was upset with himself, unable to protect his own family. Joseph promised from now on he would protect his family. He did not want to leave his wife and children, but he was forced to do so when his life was in danger. He did not expect the lives of his wife and children to be in danger.
" We need to heal. You heard that, Charlotte. You must be healed. I still need you so much and I love you."
Joseph sat back with tears in his eyes. He recalled the incident 35 years ago at the wedding celebration of his cousin where he overheard a conversation between Michael and Lewis. [ ]
