20. Dating

The scorching heat of New York City immediately greeted Miya as she exited the subway. Sweaty sweat began to appear on his forehead. Dirty air with a lot of dust flying makes it have to cover the nose. The skyscrapers look sparkling in the sunlight and the streets are very crowded full of people who will do various activities. Ryusuke stood firmly beside him, then he smiled when he found Miya looking at him.

He was indeed a pretty handsome man with his warm brown eyes. Miya smiled inwardly remembering that she had loved the man beside her and would always remember the sweet memories she had with him. This will be her first and last date with Ryusuke since his arrival in New York.

If Ryusuke had never cheated on him, they might still be lovers. Ryusuke starts walking and Miya follows him from behind . They pass through several roads ranging from crowded to quiet. The girl continued to follow him without protest until finally they were in the central park which had many trees. A cold wind blew his face.

 The city park looks very crowded on holidays. The screams and laughter of the little children filled the city park. Ryusuke invited him to sit on a park bench that is quite long made of wood.‘‘You wait here I'll be right back."

Miya was so happy to pay attention to the people around her. His face heated up and met red saw a couple kissing and making out among the trees not far from him. He immediately turned his face away and shifted his gaze elsewhere. He was shocked when someone touched his shoulder.

"Ryuoka..."

Ryusuke smiled sweetly as he handed the hot hot dog to Miya.‘‘Eat up! This hot dog tastes so good."

''Thank you very much." Ryusuke sits beside Miya while enjoying the hot dog he bought.

"If only we could be like them,’’ Ryusuke said while pointing to a pair of lovers who look very friendly who are sitting on one of the park benches not far from where they sit.’’Can't we really go back to what we used to be?’’

"No,’’ Miya replied steadily with a mouthful of food.

"Tell me the truth. Is it true that you do not like a man?’’ask Ryusuke for the umpteenth time.

Ryusuke stared intently at Miya waiting for an answer from her.

Miya stopped chewing as her uncle's shadow re-presented in her mind with a wide smile and there was a mischievous glint in her eyes. He shook his head quickly trying to remove his uncle's shadow from his mind. Why at a time like this suddenly the shadow of his uncle filled his mind sullen in heart. Miya pursed her lips.

"There was no man. I've said it to you many times. Why do you ask again? Can't you believe what I said?’’

"Yes . I really don't believe it. Two years we've been in a relationship and it's not possible that you don't love me anymore."

"But it's true. I don't love you anymore. I don't know why, but my love for you just disappeared like a second-hand smoke."

Ryusuke sighed heavily and his expression looked sad mixed with disappointment.’’I-i understand. I don't think I have any hope of ever being with you again. Quickly finish your hot dogs. I'll take you home."

Fabian parked his car smoothly in front of the restaurant. He looked at his watch in annoyance, for he had arrived 10 minutes late from the appointed appointment. It's all because of that guy named Ryusuke. Fabian snorted in annoyance, then got out of his car. Before entering the restaurant, he tidied up his slightly tangled suit. A restaurant waiter drove him to Patricia who was sitting waiting for him with an annoyed face.

"I'll just go,’’seru Patricia is upset.’’ I don't like people who don't arrive on time. I'm going to get my dad to cancel a contract with Baskerville Industries."

"You'd better wait a little while. Surely lord Fabian Baskerville will be coming soon,’’ said Rebeca his father's secretary.  Patricia lazily finally obeyed Rebeca's words.

"Sorry for my delay." Patricia immediately turned her head towards the voice that sounded heavy and masculine. The woman was surprised to find Fabian who looks amazingly handsome with an expensive suit stelan what else when Fabian threw his smile at Patricia made the woman a little nervous and misbehaved.

Fabian looked at Patricia. Overall she is a very beautiful woman with her slightly wavy blonde hair and very slim body. That was natural since she was a famous former model in Germany. She has seen it many times in model magazines. Her decision to quit the modeling world left her a little surprised and Patricia prefers to continue her father's business in the hospitality business. Though her career in the world of modeling is on the rise.

"It's okay. Next time you don't come late again,’’ replied Patricia with a voice ketus.’’We'd better start signing our cooperation contract. You must have read all the contents of the contract, right?’’

"Of course I've read everything Miss Latimer and I agree with the contents of the contract."

Fabian quickly signed his contract and then handed it to Patricia, then they shook hands.’’May our cooperation run smoothly,’’ Fabian said.

"certain. You won't regret working with us." Patricia smiled sweetly. "Do you have time now?’’

"Then go for a walk. Consider it this in exchange for your delay Mr Baskerville, how?’’

Fabian sighed longly.’’Alright."

Patricia with her sparkling body walked to the exit ahead of Fabian.

Miya who was sitting enjoying the cool air in the middle of the big city felt disturbed by the presence of someone she currently wanted to avoid. That person was talking to a woman whose appearance was very graceful and elegant. Who else if not Fabian, his uncle. They both look very familiar and their presence in the central park is a bit of a limelight when they pass by.

They are both a very nice couple. Miya is annoyed to see her uncle's whereabouts with a foreign woman she does not know. Yesterday he had just expressed his love for her and now he is dating another woman. The basic playboy man is indeed unbelievable and most annoyingly his uncle also has a date in the same place as him. Miya snorted in annoyance. There was a feeling of sadness and disappointment that slipped into him.

’’Hei, isn't that your uncle,’’seru Ryusuke.’’Boy, your uncle's girlfriend is so pretty huh. How about we say hello to them."

"I don't want to. You're the one who greeted them."

"Why are you? Are you not happy to see your uncle here?’’

Ryusuke pulled Miya and gripped her arm tightly.  He doesn't like what Ryusuke is doing right now.

"Good afternoon Mr Baskerville!’’greet Ryusuke. Fabian immediately turned his head and his facial expression was surprised to see Ryusuke and Miya, but he was quickly able to master his shock and look calm again. Fabian stood full of dignity and a faint smile momentarily appeared on his face. Both hands were crossed backwards.

"Good day! I didn't expect to meet you here." Fabian looked at Miya and his gaze never escaped from her making the girl feel uneasy. Both Fabian's hands clenched firmly behind seeing Ryusuke clasping Miya's hands.

"Who are they?’’patricia's question suddenly made Fabian turn towards the woman beside him.

"My niece and her ex-boyfriend."

Patricia nodded in understanding.‘‘Your niece is beautiful and sweet."

‘‘Thank you Patricia. She is beautiful and sweet."Fabian forced a smile on his back, then his attention returned to Miya and Ryusuke.

"Is your date with Ryusuke fun?’’asked Fabian with eyes still staring at him sharply.

"Very fun. We both enjoyed it. How about uncle?’’

"Just like you."

"Oh so. We'd better go. We don't want to interrupt your two dates,’’ said Miya.’’Come on Ryu, let's go!"

‘‘But...‘‘

‘‘Ayo Ryu!‘‘

Miya pulls Ryusuke's arm and lets Ryusuke embrace him. He looked back . Fabian still continued to look at him with a cold face. Miya immediately turned her face away.

Miya stood by the side of the road alone while listening to music. He was waiting for Ryusuke who was going to a mini market located across the street. The street looked very quiet and that's when he saw Mary Jane across the street carrying a grocery bag. The servant noticed Miya's whereabouts, then waved his hand. After the lights turned green for pedestrians, Mary Jane quickly crossed the road, but suddenly the crackle bag that Mary Jane was carrying was torn and the contents scattered out. Miya tries to help him before the traffic light changes color again. He is grateful that the road is still quiet and rarely passed by vehicles.

Mary Jane has finished picking up her groceries and is already on the side of the road, while Miya is still trying to pick up some oranges that are still scattered. Without realizing there is a car that drove very fast and made Miya surprised. His body could not move to dodge as the car got closer and closer. Suddenly his body was pushed very hard and Miya knew he had survived the car crash. Someone saved him. His gaze turned dark before he saw the face of his helper. [ ]
