(S2): Leonard's cold attitude

Raina is enjoying her honeymoon with Leonard in Paris. He felt the happiest woman in the world and did not expect his affair to go smoothly. Today is their first day on their honeymoon. Leonard takes Raina around Paris and takes pictures together. Raina unceasingly spread a smile all the way.

" It's a beautiful day, isn't it?"

Leonard just nodded. He only watched his wife who looked very happy and soon the smile would disappear from her beautiful face. Leonard sat on a bench on the side of the road enjoying the cool breeze.

Raina then sat down next to her and gave her husband some hot chestnut nuts.

" Today you didn't say much" Raina said.

" I don't want to say much" Leonard replied in a crisp voice.

" Hmmm. Alright."

Raina then took Leonard walking again. After midnight, they had dinner at a fancy restaurant and Raina was disappointed her husband was very quiet today.

At the hotel Raina was left alone and Leonard said nothing where he was going. The atmosphere of the room felt very quiet. Raina waited for her husband's return with a restless heart. The clock has shown at 11pm, but there is no sign of Leonard coming back when it is his first night.

A drop of tears fell down his face. Raina quickly removed it. He also fell asleep. The next morning Raina finds her husband sleeping on the sofa.

Raina waited for Leonard to wake up. An hour later, her husband woke up.

" Good morning!"greet Raina with a smiling face.

Leonard looked coldly at Raina which left him astonished and confused. He went straight to the bathroom without caring for his wife's astonished gaze.

Raina was sad. She didn't know if she had made a mistake until her husband silenced her.

" Where were you going last night? I waited for you to fall asleep."

" I went to the bar."

" So you've been at the bar all night?"

" Yes." Yeah."

" Why would you rather spend time there instead of here with me?"

" I don't want to be with you."

"Are you angry with me?"

"You think?"

"Where do I know you're mad at me or not . If I made you mad without me knowing, I'm sorry."

Leonard replied to her with a piercingly cold look. Raina saw there was anger in her husband's eyes. After changing into clothes Leonard went back out and Raina was again left in the room.

Raina shed her tears again. She did not understand why her husband was so cold to her before they were married. The sound of the phone surprised him. He quickly wiped his tears and adjusted his voice after seeing his mother's name on his phone screen.

" Raina, how are you?"

"I'm good. How are you guys doing?"

"We're all fine."

"I miss you guys so much."

"We also. Is Mom bothering you?"

"Absolutely not. I just woke up and I'm gonna take a shower."

" Is your honeymoon fun?"

Raina was silent for a moment. "Very fun."

" It's great to hear that. I'm sorry I called you when you were only two days away."

" It's okay. I'm glad you called me."

" Take good care of yourself! Bye bye!"

"Bye bye!"

Raina disconnected her phone, then took a deep breath. He did not want his parents to worry that his honeymoon was not going as smoothly as he had imagined.

During the one week honeymoon, Leonard was still cold and often left Raina in a hotel room and it made Raina very upset. He also decided to go for a walk alone. Raina returned to the hotel room feeling sad. She did not want to be treated like this by her husband.

The hotel room door opens at midnight. Raina jumped out of her bed.

"You're finally back too. Where have you been?"

Leonard walked past Raina without saying a word and made Raina even more annoyed.

"Didn't you hear me? What the hell is going on with you? Why are you keeping me quiet like this? Why has your attitude changed, "sook Raina.

Leonard remained silent. Raina pulled her husband's hand in annoyance. Of course Leonard did not want his wife to know, because he himself was still afraid of falsely accusing his wife, but behind his concerns there was strong evidence that Rain was the cause of Oliver's death.

What's more Leonard has secretly fallen in love with Raina and repeatedly he refrains from hugging his wife, but his desire to avenge his sister has overcome his love for Raina.

" Answer me!"yells.

"I'm going to sleep."

Leonard headed to the sofa and slept there without answering all of Raina's questions.

Frank and Raina have returned to New York. Raina was very happy to be back and without wasting any more time, Raina immediately went to see Fabian in his office. His arrival was denied, as there had been no appointment, but he was given permission to meet Fabian after Raina said she wanted to provide important information about his wife.

Gilbert, Fabian's secretary welcomes Raina as warmly as possible and lets her in. Riana smiled happily as she saw Fabian was busy checking the stack of papers on the table.

" Good afternoon!"greet Raina.

Fabian raised his head. " Good afternoon! Please sit!"

Raina sat on the sofa as sweet as possible, then Fabian approached Raina, then Raina immediately introduced herself.

" My name is Raina Astor ." Raina accidentally introduces herself using her maiden name. He did not want Fabian to know that he was married.

" Okay, lady or mistress..."

" Call me Miss Raina!"

" All right, Miss Raina. What information do you want to tell me about my wife."

" So there's a friend of mine seeing that your wife's walking with another man."

Fabian surprised. " That's impossible. This is a very serious accusation."

" I know, but I believe what my friend, Mr. Baskerville, said."

" Does your friend have proof?"

" Of course."

Raina then shows a photo of Miya being hugged by another man near a playground. Fabian looked surprised.

" I don't believe."

"It's up to you to believe it or not that it's important I've told your wife's affair."

" Why did the lady say all this to me?"

" Because I care about you, because you're a good man doesn't deserve to be betrayed by your own wife."

" Is there something you want to say again, miss?"

" Nothing."

" Then you can go now."

Raina got up from the sofa, then went towards the door. Raina pretended her head was dizzy and almost fell down. Fabian swiftly held his body.

" Miss is it okay?"

" I'm fine it's just that my head is dizzy probably because of anemia."

Fabian embraces Raina's body and leads her back to the sofa.

" Thank you."

Fabian gave Raina a glass of water.

" I'll get the driver to drive you home."

" It's not necessary. I'm ordinary myself."

" Is she sure she can go home by herself?"

Raina nodded.

" I'm sorry to interrupt your time."

" Absolutely not. Tell you what if I take the lady home by chance I'll be home soon."

Raina's heart cheered happily. " Didn't that trouble you?"

" Of course not."

Fabian smiled and made Raina's heart melt. After half an hour of waiting, Fabian had already finished his work and was getting ready to go home. He takes Raina home.

" Is this his apartment?"

" yes. This is my apartment. Would you like to come in for some tea?"

" What a pity. Alright. Thank you for driving me home."

Fabian gets back in his car and after Fabian's car is not seen again, Raina quickly leaves the apartment for her house in a taxi.

Arriving at Fabian's house immediately looking for his wife. Miya was knitting in her room.

" Have you gone home?"

" I'm home early."

" Are you sick?"

" I'm fine."

Miya felt something was strange about her husband. " What's really going on?"

" There's someone who says you're cheating."

Miya turned her eyes, then laughed.

" Why are you laughing?"

" Because I'm not cheating. Who said that shit?"

" There was a woman named Raina. I know her name is the same as our daughter. He said you cheated. There's a friend who saw you cheating even he showed you a picture of you being hugged by another man."

Miya becomes surprised, as all this time she has never gone with any man except with her husband and son.

" Do you have a picture of her?"

Fabian shook his head." No. gabe. I didn't ask for that photo."

" Where was the photo taken?"

"Near the playground."

" Am I wearing jeans and a creamy short-sleeved shirt?"

" Well, how do you know?"

" Now I remember. Two days ago, there was a foreign man who suddenly hugged me in front of the playground. Of course I'm angry."

"What did you say?"

Fabian looked very upset and angry.

" Calm yourself. That guy didn't do anything to me."

" But she has embraced my wife."

Miya also recounted the incident two days ago, when she drove Clarie to the mini market to buy stationery. After the mini market, Clarie played for a while in the park and suddenly a foreign man approached her. The man asked for an address, then suddenly hugged her.

" Why didn't you tell me?"

" Because I don't think it matters. I've scolded him and the man has apologized."

" Do you know why that guy suddenly hugged you?"

" The man said I looked like his wife."

"That's it. It must be that the man was lying and wanted to take the opportunity to hug you," Fabian said in an annoyed tone of voice.

Fabian hugged Miya tightly and kissed her forehead.

" I wonder why anyone would take a picture of him and accuse me of cheating."

" That's possible."

Fabian hugged Miya.

Leonard was surprised to see Raina who was cleaning all her clothes.

" What are you doing?"

" Don't you see I'm cleaning all my clothes. I want to go home."

" Home home?"

" yes. It's free to go on a honeymoon if you don't care about me anymore."

" Well if that's what you want. Go home by yourself."

Raina had finished putting all her clothes into the suitcase, then prepared to leave the hotel room in a fit of rage.

" I don't know why your attitude has changed for me. I don't know why you're angry with me either. I shouldn't be in a hurry to marry you. I thought you were a good man and a good husband to me but you weren't. Goodbye bye!"

The door to the hotel room opened, then it closed violently.

" Fuck!"muttered Leonard.

The next morning Raina has been back in New York, but she cannot return to her parents' house, as they must be wondering about her sudden return without Leonard. Raina decides to return to the Clemonte family home.

Raina's arrival is greeted by Owen, the butler of her husband's family. Owen is shocked to see Raina's sudden arrival and is ahead of their scheduled return from the honeymoon.

" Welcome madam!"

Raina smiled. "Thank you!"

Owen looked for someone and he seemed confused.

" Leonard's still in Paris."

"Eh."

"I came home earlier than planned."

"I understand."

Owen then escorts Raina to Leonard's room, where she is left alone. This was the first time she had seen her husband's room. The room is quite spacious. The walls of his room were covered in paper with beige and gold stripes. The bed was very big and there was a slow. He walked to a large balcony. There is a table and two chairs. Underneath there is a labyrinth garden and in the middle of it there is a dolphin-shaped fountain.

In the distance Raina saw some sheep that were gathering. The Clemonte family home was not in the city, but was on an estate surrounded by vast tracts of land. Raina breathed in the fresh air and a slight gentle breeze helped her forget the matter with her husband.

Raina lay on the bed whose bedsheets felt very soft. The knock on the door made him jump in surprise. He woke up and straightened his hair.

" Login!"

A maid came in with a pot of tea and some cookies, and the waiter put them on the table.

" Thank you."

The female servant noticed Raina blatantly and stared dislikefully at her. Raina is confused by him, but Raina tries to ignore him.

Raina poured her tea into a cup and ate a delicious pastry of cheese, then cleaned herself and changed her clothes while waiting for dinner to arrive. He also decided to sleep for a while.

The knock on the door made Raina wake up and it was dark.

" Login!"

A waitress who had delivered tea and cake for him came into the room.

" Lunches are ready."

" I'll be there soon."

The waiter left. Raina suddenly remembered something, that she did not know where the dining room was. He called back the waiter.

"Wait on! Show me where the dining room is!"

" Let's follow me!"

Raina followed the waiter towards the dining room. He was surprised to see a long dining table. Dinner is available.

" Thank you! What's yourname?"

" Silene." His voice sounded very sharp.

" Leonie, be a little polite!"exclaim Owen.

"It's okay."

"Good night, madam!"

" night!"

"Please!"

Owen pushed the chair and Raina walked towards the dining table and sat down. He was left alone and ate a delicious dinner. The dining room was more sinister and only a clockwork sound was heard. Raina also misses the atmosphere of eating in her house that is always crowded.

After dinner Raina returned to her room thinking about her husband. She missed Leonard so much and guessed what her husband was doing in Paris. She hoped that when her husband came home, his attitude would turn warm again. [ ]
