24. Threat message

The next morning Fabian was in James' office. He didn't expect to come back here. Actually he was very lazy to meet her, but was forced to come to get an explanation from her. James arrived five minutes later and he did not cover up his surprise at Fabian already in his office.

‘‘Fabian,‘‘tempt James with voice filled with hatred.‘‘I didn't think you'd come here again."James immediately sat down in his chair, then looked at Fabian with a cynical face and one side of James' mouth lifted to sing a mocking smile.‘‘What do you want to come here?‘‘

Since then Fabian tried to restrain himself from hitting James, both his hands clenched firmly and his jaw hardened.‘‘Why did you try to hit Miya with your car yesterday?‘‘

Fabian tried to talk to him as calmly as possible.

James frowned looking confused.‘‘What do you mean?‘‘

‘‘Do not pretend not to know."

‘‘I really don't know what you're saying."

Fabian looked increasingly upset then he leaned his body and his eyes became icy cold. His face was only a few centimeters away from James.‘‘Yesterday afternoon you tried to kill Miya by getting her hit by your car."

‘‘You must not accuse me recklessly,‘‘ James got angry, then got up from his chair while throwing a gaze full of anger.

‘‘But your car tried to hit Miya,‘‘ Fabian said in a high tone of voice.

‘‘So you're accusing me only because of my car trying to hit your dear Miyamu. You are wrong, because I did not. Two days ago my car went missing there was someone who stole it from me, but now I understand it looks like someone wants to throw all those mistakes at me."

Fabian looked at him suspiciously.‘‘You're lying."

James shrugged his shoulders.‘‘Whether to believe me or not is obviously not me doing it. Now leave! Not that I meant to kick you out, but I still have a lot of work to do."

Once again Fabian looked at James very sharply and threatened.‘‘Alright. If you lie I will report your actions to the authorities."James then laughed.

‘‘You won't be able to report me because you have no evidence at all and I will come back to sue you for my defamation. Remember that."

With Fabian annoyed to leave if he stays there he may punch him in the face again.

Fabian found a bouquet of white lily on his desk when he reached his office and a small yellow envelope tucked on top of it. He opened the envelope.

Hello Fabian dear! How are you doing?

I can't wait to see you again. Do you still not remember me?

I'm a person from your past that you've forgotten. Still don't remember either?

You will remember it after we meet. Kiss my darling.

NB: I was the one who told someone to hit your dear Miya, because I didn't want that girl to have you because you were only mine. Stay away from him or I'll hurt him again. Soon we will meet.

Fabian called Gilbert to come to his room. She showed Lily a bouquet of flowers to him.

" Do you know who sent this flower here?"

" I brought him here. There was a courier downstairs who sent it and I happened to be there, because the flowers were for you so I kept them on your desk. Is something wrong?"

"Of course something's wrong. That flower is my late wife's favorite flower."

Fabian gave the card to Gilbert.

"This.." exclaimed Gilbert in surprise after reading it.

"The person who sent the Lily flowers that had hit Miya and on the card smelled Clarissa's perfume."

" You're right. This is the perfume she used to wear."

" Not once did he send it."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because I haven't had a chance to talk to you yet."

"Yes. Of course lately you've been busy with that girl and her ex-boyfriend"sindir Gilbert.

Fabian looked at Gilbert sharply.

" Is it possible that Clarissa did it?"

"That's right. Clarissa is dead, so she can't be the culprit" Gilbert said.

"You're right. He's already dead. I was there when he died. But what if he's alive?"

"The dead cannot live anymore. You better not make such crazy conclusions."

"Then who do you think? Because James doesn't admit it."

"That's. Could be anyone. Don't you remember anything about who this Lily flower is?"

"I don't remember."

" Maybe it used to be one of your closest people."

" That's possible."

Fabian let out a long breath. As long as he still does not know the identity of the Lily flower is actually his life and Miya is in danger. Her heart felt unsettled before Lily's flower sender was found.[ ]
