12. Interrogations

Fabian was interrogating Mary Jane, leaning her body on the table and her legs crossed forward, her hands folded across her chest. He looked at the servant coldly and coldly. Mary Jane lowered her head and her body trembled.’’Is there anything you want to tell me?’’ask Fabian.

Mary Jane puffed her head.’’Mr. Fabian , I...’’.

‘’ Why did you forbid me to eat that chocolate? If you hadn't banned it, I would have been poisoned. Do you know about this?’’

‘’Sorry. Actually I know chocolate's poisonous."Mary Jane's voice shakes. He scratched his lower lip.  Fabian straightened his body and looked straight at the servant. ‘’I don't want you poisoning that chocolate," he said later.

‘’Where do you know chocolate is toxic?’’

‘’Because I know who sent the chocolate."

‘’Who is he?’’ask her in a loud and firm voice.

‘’James Kenndrick."

‘’Whataaaa? I can't believe this. So the one who gave the chocolate to Miya was James? ‘’

‘’’True. I know all this time that guy hated you so much, because he thought you had killed Madame Clarissa, his little sister. I accidentally met him three days ago at a chocolate shop. Of course he was unaware of my presence there. I was buying chocolate candy for my nephew and I overheard him talking to one of his men. The chocolate will be given to Miss Miya and will be poisoned, then suddenly the man looks at me and he recognizes my servant uniform. The man took me and threatened me that if I told you, he would kill me and make my family's life suffer. She wants Miss Miya to eat the chocolate she gave her.I'm sorry, Mr. Fabian. I didn't mean to conspire with him." Mary Jane then cried sobbing.

Fabian's jaw hardened until his veins were clearly visible on the surface of his skin and his hands were clenched until his fingers turned white. Mary Jane dared to look at him. ‘’It's all my fault, if only that time I threw it away then Miss Miya would be fine." Mary Jane immediately knelt down and held onto Fabian's leg. ‘’I'm sorry Mr. Fabian. Sorry."His face was still wet with tears that kept flowing.

‘’Build!’’

The servant complied, then wiped his tears.

‘’So what sir Fabian forgave me?’’

Fabian saw the unreadable emotions in his servant's self.‘’It's not your fault. Now go!’’

Mary Jane is gone.

‘’Good. Excuse me!’’

Fabian hit the table hard after Mary Jane left.’’Shit!"

He took his cell phone to Gilbert. ‘’Looks like I'll be late for the office. There's a problem I need to solve first." After Fabian turned off his phone, he left in a hurry.

Isabella and Sebastian are sitting in the library. They were working on group assignments without Miya. The two are silent to each other. The relationship still looks awkward after Sebastian confesses his feelings to the girl. Sebastian tries to act like nothing has happened and is relaxed so Isabella feels comfortable to be back with him like she used to be. The man sighed at the thought of the party last night seeing Isabella so happy to be with Fabian.

‘’I've seen it,’’ said Sebastian opening a conversation that had been too long silent between them.

‘’What?’’

‘’Men you like. He's a very handsome guy and you look very happy with him. I hope you can live happily with her." Although Sebastian is sad and painful to say it, he is willing to see Isabella live happily.

‘’Thank you Sebastian."Isabella smiled gently.

‘’Today Miya is not in. You know why?’’ask Sebastian.

‘’I don't know. He didn't come yesterday when he promised to come to my birthday party."

‘’Have tried contacting him?’’

‘’Already but the phone is always inactive."

‘’What's with him huh? I'll call his house." Sebastian picks up his phone and on the fourth ring someone answers a man's voice. ‘’Happy day! The Baskerville family residence."

Sebastian was silent for a moment.’’Uh....Baskerville,’’gumamnya surprised. Sebastian only knew that Miya was living with his uncle, but he had no idea that Miya was living with the Baskerville family. Do-don't Miya have a relationship with the man Sebastian thought.

‘’Sorry . Who do you want to talk to?’’

‘’I want to talk to Miya. I'm Sebastian's friend."

 ‘’Now Miss Miya is hospitalized."

‘’True? Miya hurts what?’’ask her in surprise.

‘’Nona Miya food poisoning."

Sebastian is shocked and turns off his phone after he asks for the address of the hospital where Miya is being treated. Isabella stared in bewilderment.’’What's up?’’

‘’Miya is now in hospital. We better see him now. How?’’

‘’Good. But Miya hurts what?’’

‘’I'll say it on the way."Isabella is in a hurry to finish her books and chase after Sebastian who has gone first.

Fabian with his cold face and sharp gaze ready to kill, lunged into the office of James who was on the top floor of his building with a slight commotion, as his secretary tried to block him from entering. He saw James sitting there smiling cynically and mocking him. The man stood up and told his secretary to let Fabian in. ‘’Wah...wah what made you come here?’’

James smiles obliquely .’’So that's why you came here? Ah it turns out that the waiter told you everything. You stupid waiter."

‘’I forced her to talk, so don't blame Mary Jane and threaten her again. Why do you want to kill Miya when she doesn't know you at all?’’scream Fabian. Every muscle in his body became tense trying to control himself so as not to strangle the man in front of him, because Fabian did not want to dirty his hands by killing James.

‘’Because he is the one you love. I know you loved him when we met at that restaurant. How do you look at him lovingly,’’ cried James back.

‘’That girl is your weakness, if I can make her die, surely you will be very sad and suffer. I want to feel what it's like to lose someone you love. I want to see you suffer. You already know for sure that I love Clarissa, my foster sister. She never knew my feelings and when she decided to marry you, I gave it up, but after she married you her life was not at all happy. He used to tell me that you never noticed him and I regret giving him up on you. Clarissa was a good woman, but you wasted it by having an affair with another woman and you ended up killing her."

Fabian smiling bitterly.’’You don't seem to know who your sister is yet. Clarissa is not what you imagined. A good and caring sister. You're wrong James, Clarissa isn't like that. She was a very bad woman and I don't know why I could be interested and believe in her that she would make my life happy. So don't make arbitrary conclusions about my problem with Clarissa, because you don't know what's going on."

‘’You lied. Clarissa is a good woman. I can't believe what you're saying."

‘’It's up to you to believe it or not, but Clarissa is clearly the bad-hearted woman I've ever known. She is a very dangerous woman. Just because a woman our friendship is ruined. You know, sometimes I miss our old friendship and deep in my heart, I still hope that our friendship will improve again, but it seems that now there is no way we can go back to what we used to be. ‘’Clarissa can't be a bad woman. I've known him long enough."

Fabian looked at James still with a furious glint in his eyes. This guy was his best friend ever since they started going to college. Fabian hopes that one day he will be able to meet the James he once knew.  Yes of course .That woman was one of the causes. He's made James hate me.

Fabian continued.‘’If you hate me, don't ever involve Miya. He doesn't know anything about this and one more thing don't ever hurt him otherwise I'll kill you. Remember that,’’threaten. Fabian passed away with anger in his heart.

When Isabella and Sebastian arrive, Miya is having lunch being fed by Bernice. Miya was so happy when she saw her two friends coming to visit. One by one he looked at his friend. Isabella as usual always looks beautiful and graceful, looks fresh and her cheeks are red, her smile is very sweet and there is a little different with her there are happy twinkles in her. Miya guessed it maybe at her birthday party yesterday she had met the man she liked, then Miya's gaze turned to Sebastian. The man always looked neat and handsome. In the man's hand was a very beautiful flower. Both look worried. Miya tried to smile so they wouldn't worry about her.

Isabella clasped my hand and looked at me sadly. ‘’I'm fine. Thank you guys for coming,’’ucap Miya . There was a feeling of relief on Isabella and Sebastian's face, and the man gave her flowers. ‘’Bunganya beautiful. Thank you." Thank you."

‘’We're happy to see you're okay. When we were told you were sick, we came straight here,’’ Sebastian said.

‘’Why did you get intoxication? ‘’thya Sebastian.

Then Miya told me everything that happened that night. Isabella and Sebastian are surprised by Miya's explanation. ‘’This is so terrible. Who do you think gave that chocolate,’’thanya Isabella.

‘’I don't know. I'm sorry I couldn't make it to your party."

‘’Nothing. You don't need to think about it." Isabella smiled soothingly.

‘’Cheal soon! So that we can do college work together." Sebastian grinned widely. Isabella then pinched her waist.The man was in pain and looked annoyed at Isabella.

‘’You still have time to think about that. Don't you see Miya is sick." Isabella sneered angrily at Sebastian. Miya smiled happily seeing them become familiar again.

Fabian enters his office in a hurry only to pick up some paperwork to work on at the hospital for a while he will move his office there until Miya recovers.

‘’How is Miya doing now?’’

‘’He's fine, Gil."

‘’Thank God. I'll come back to see him." Gilbert then looked at Fabian with great curiosity. He waited for Fabian to tell him everything. Fabian sighed and told Gilbert everything.

’’James is so outrageous that it involves Miya in this regard. If I meet him I want to strangle him,’’ Gilbert said annoyedly. ‘’Why didn't you tell James about you and Clarissa?’’

‘’Right now James won't want to believe what I'm saying. It's free to say it when I'm angry. He won't take anything I say."

The sound of incoming e-mail appeared on his phone. A smile returned to his face after a day of Fabian putting on a cold face . The message read: I am back and I can't wait to see you again.

‘’She's back’’.

‘’Who?’’

‘’Joshua Adrian Waldgrave my cousin's sister."

‘’I heard all this time he lived in Greece."

‘’That's true and now that he's been back it's been about 10 years I haven't met him and it looks like the family meeting later in Baskerville castle will be a lot of fun. Now I'm going first. Please take care of my office as long as I'm not around!’’ Fabian patted Gilbert's shoulder gently, then passed away.

Fabian was surprised when he saw a man who was accompanying Miya who was asleep while holding her hand from behind the door. The feeling of jealousy and pain in his heart came back to his chest. He saw Bernice embroidered on the sofa. He opened the door and looked at the man with a look of dislike. Fabian's blue eyes turned cold, as he stared at the young man. He watched the young man from bottom to top and Sebastian was oblivious to the judgment-filled gaze Fabian gave him.

Sebastian who saw Fabian was surprised and his guess was correct that Miya had a family relationship with him. Bernice, who saw his master coming, stood up and endured it. ‘’Good afternoon Mr Fabian!’’

‘’Good afternoon Bernice! Now you can go home!’’

The maid immediately left after tidying up her things. Sebastian immediately stood up , then reached out his hand.’’I'm Sebastian. Classmate Miya." Fabian received his helping hand and clasped his hand tightly.  So this is the young man Mary Jane said at the time. ‘’Fabian, his uncle Miya."

 Fabian immediately turned his head when the bathroom door opened and Isabella appeared . Both surprised. ‘’Isabella."
