Hospital
10.30
Jessica held Lyn's hand tightly. He looked intently at the beautiful face of his daughter who was now closed, he looked so peaceful, the little girl must be very tired because of the pain she had experienced lately. Tomorrow should be the transplant schedule for Lyn, and she still hopes everything will be fine.
Now Jessica's hand stroked Lyn's cheek gently. Matt's right, Lyn is a strong girl, she's been so strong so far, even that little girl who saved her life a few days ago. Jessica smiled gently, she would not be able to cry if it was in front of her daughter, as if her tears had run out, and honestly she was very tired of being sad, very tired. He tries to show Lyn that everything will be fine, even if it is a real lie.
“Jessie.”
Chelsea Boltom, or commonly called Mrs Boltom was patting Jessica's shoulders gently. The middle-aged woman covered her mouth using her right hand, trying to endure all her sobs. Seeing her only granddaughter in such a state of affairs devastated her, and she did not want to say to Jessica that everything would be fine, because everything was not okay.
“Thank you for coming Mom, tomorrow Lyn will operation and I hope all will be fine.”
Jessica turned to Madam Boltom and smiled faintly. She was so happy that her mother-in-law came home to see her granddaughter, she knew that there were so many people who loved Lyn out there. While Mrs Boltom who saw Jessica smiling at her made her cry even more, Jessica was a strong woman and Matt was very lucky to marry her.
“You must be patient Darling, you strong woman.”
Now Mrs Boltom hugs Jessica tightly. Jessica who got a warm hug Lady Boltom returned the hug. But as soon as his defense collapsed, the tears he had been enduring all this time flowed with a loud sobbing. He'd be lying if his heart didn't hurt to see his only daughter like this. He just wants to look good in front of everyone.
Sensing Jessica who was now crying sobbing in her arms, Madam Boltom further tightened her embrace, it was better to see Jessica crying like this than to look tough like before, it hurt her even more.
“Let's bring Lyn Jessie, the funeral has been prepared.”

Jessica stared blankly at Lyn and her mother's grave in front of her. For the second time he felt such a deep loss, the last time he lost his mother in an accident one year ago, and now his daughter. He really couldn't cry anymore. I don't know what to do again, the spirit of his life that he so fought for has now gone.
“Jess, let's go home.”
Matt said slowly, it had been almost an hour he accompanied Jessica who just stared blankly at the two tombs. Losing Lyn makes him very devastated, he had time to think, if the transplant was accelerated, could he save Lyn from this death? And Matt knows, that must be what Jessica's thinking right now.
Matt now walked over to Jessica and sat down next to her. Somehow he can make Jessica leave this place, but really he does not want to force, but really he does not want to force, let Jessica feel this sadness for a while and after that she hopes everything will be fine and goes as usual.
“Master no call for you."
Mark whispered next to his boss, trying not to be heard by Mrs Boltom. He understood, the business of a company like this would definitely make him very disturbed.
The two men walked away from Jessica, Matt stared at her phone screen and he smiled faintly at the name of someone who was now seen there, who else if not the name he had been waiting for all this time to contact her, Mr. Edmond.
The call was interrupted after fifteen minutes of them talking. As he expected, Mr. Edmond wanted to meet him, even the middle-aged man took out a few words of praise for him. Mr. Edmond could not dwell anymore, because if they could not comply with his wishes, he would say everything to the public.
Matt's satisfied smile now turned back to worry when he saw Jessica who was still silent in her place. He should not have left Jessica at this time, but all this is a few steps away and he will master some of the projects he has undertaken with Ed Company, certainly with a little amcaman. With regret Matt approached Jessica and spoke softly.
“Jessie, I have to go for a while. Mark will accompany you and drive you home. You're okay, right?” Matt touched Jessica's shoulder again, making her look at him, and he could see her smiling.
“Ya, sure. Careful on the road.” Matt breathed a sigh of relief, he kissed his wife's forehead and walked away to Mark in the car.
“Mark, take Madam home in my car, but don't force her, I know she'll come home if she's tired of her sadness."
“But shouldn't you meet Mr Edmond, Mr?” Mark asked, he knew Mr. Edmond was a crafty man and he was worried that only his boss would come to see him.
“Let's just relax, he won't be able to do anything further. He's on my pen and I'm the only one with the exit key.” Matt smiled thinly.
"Good, Sir."

Boltom’s Company
16.30
Albert Edmond clenched his hands tightly, now in front of him was his co-worker who smiled widely, as if the smile was mocking him. Actually from the beginning he came here intending to apologize and think everything will be fine and run smoothly, but his mind was wrong, he said, he just found out that Mr. Boltom is one of his co-workers who is so devious.
"What do you think, Mr Edmond? Isn't handing over all the projects we've built not worth the reputation your daughter has tarnished?"
"Are you using me now?"
Matt laughed at this, and he really liked a man like Albert Edmond, who was cornered. Ten years ago Albert Edmond's accomplice beat him up for being near his daughter Corrine Edmond. But now, it was his own daughter who dropped the father.
"Utilizing you? If that's your estimate, fine, I'll clarify to the media today as well about what really happened. I'm not forcing you."
Albert Edmond's breathing was so intense, he was so emotional and there was nothing he could do about it anymore. Because now it's his party who broke the contract for hurting his fellow coworkers.
"Mr Boltom."
"Hm?" Matt smiled obliquely.
"I ask for time."
