1.20. I'll Let U Go

Jessica looked all over, for some reason she was quite calm to see Matt cooking in their kitchen. Just when he woke up, he didn't find Matt by his side, and he was a little freaked out because Matt was supposed to be off work today. Slowly hugging Matt's waist from behind, Matt who felt someone hugging him from behind just smiled and continued his cooking activities. Shouldn't a wife cook and husband hug her from behind? That looks funny to Matt.

Jessica just nodded with still hugging tightly Matt. Jessica was still quite confused that question was indeed a question or a satire. After watching their movie until late at night, Matt felt Jessica was very tired. Even when Matt kissed the girl's face, Jessica seemed to die in her sleep.

“I've booked a hotel in Japan, so you can't refuse.” Matt giggled even more when he saw Jessica round her eyes. And Matt went back to cooking.

“Japan? But don't you like Matt's Asian nuance? Why in Japan?”

Jessica's question was unexpected. Matt thought Jessica was going against her honeymoon, not her place. She knew, obviously Jessica was so fond of Asian nuances, yes even though she was not very fond of it. He honeymooned to please his wife, not himself.

“Because you like it.” Jessica looked at Matt sparkling. Matt smiled innocent, it seemed like he had made Jessica touched him.

“When do we leave?”

Again and again Matt jolted at Jessica's question, looking Jessica who was so exited with her honeymoon. Matt just smiled happy to see Jessica's difference. It was as if Jessica's heart was opening up to her, especially when Jessica found out that she was the Tom Jessica knew.

Matt looked at Jessica who nodded. And it looks like the girl's daydreaming for some reason. Matt ignored him by putting some of the food he had made on the dining table. This is Chicken Parmigiana, a typical Italian food that Matt likes so much, a food that contains chicken with a mixture of sauce and cheese, and certainly served with spaghetti. This is Italiano. Matt also cooks a lot of Lasagna. For Matt Lasagna it was just a snack, and he could eat so much Lasagna.

“If you've daydreamed, you can sit down and have lunch with me Jess.”

Jessica flinched from her daydream and looked at Matt. Wait, what? Lunched? Did he really wake up this morning? Jessica turned her eyes to the wall clock beside the refrigerator, the clock had shown at 12 pm, just as Matt cooked himself. Jessica approached their dining table. And he saw two Italian dishes, every time Matt cooked at home, it was confirmed that there was a Lasagna perched so much. Matt likes Lasagna.

Jessica looked at Matt who had eaten first with his Chicken. As Jessica was about to sit down, her phone suddenly rang. Jessica turned her head towards the living room, her voice coming from there. He walked to the living room and took his cell phone on the sofa. Looks like his phone was left behind after they watched the movie last night.

'Angelina.’

“Hallo, what do you want?”

“I'm aware of Jess.”

Jessica frowned when she heard the tone of sadness across the street. The sadness was so disappointed. What's wrong with Mike? This guy can't act anymore, right?

“I'll let you go from now on.”

Either the happiness or sadness that Jessica must feel now. He was quite relieved Mike spoke like that, but there was disappointment in him. Jessica shook her head loudly, no it can't be like this. He will learn to love Matt and forget all his past, he is already convinced by it and should not be shaken.

“Really I'll let you go. For the last time, can you have lunch with me now? I was at Shena Restaurant. I'll wait until you come Jess. Please, just for this time.”

Jessica glanced at Matt at a glance and closed her eyes. Should he meet Mike? Mike can't do anything weird to her anymore, right? It shouldn't be, he'll meet Mike at the restaurant, and it's a public place. Mike wouldn't dare to do anything in public.

“Alright, I'll be there now.”

Jessica turned off their call. He stepped towards the dining table and took a little Lasagna with his hand and ate it. Matt's lasagna is always good. Matt who saw Jessica's behavior just looked at her annoyed. Obviously Jessica's actions were so dirty for him, especially to this Lasagna that he loved so much.

“Matt, I'll have lunch with Angelina. Angelina looks really need me now.”

Jessica looks. I don't know how much he lied to Matt, but the nervousness always shows up. He could never lie to Matt by being relaxed. Matt just looked down at Jessica, to be honest he was very disappointed right now. He had made lunch for the two of them, Jessica should have eaten it, not eaten with her friend.
