1.25. Traps

“You came Jess.”

Jessica gently let go of Mike's hand that was grasping her arm. Mike looked at Jessica's face, the girl looked very tired and sad. Even the circles in his eyes were so visible, and his face was extremely lethargic. Mike looked at her worriedly, did that Matt not feed Jessica until he was like a corpse walking like this?

“You okay Jessie?”

“Listen Michael!”

Jessica stared intently at Mike, as if giving the man a warning. While Mike kept staring at Jessica pity, did this girl become like this because of Matt? Did Matt do anything to her? He really wouldn't accept if Matt hurt Jessica, he would never accept.

“Can you leave me?”

Mike was flinched at Jessica's question. Didn't Jessica come here to go with him? Is surviving on Matt's side even with this kind of situation much better than on his side? Is Jessica's love for Matt?

“Please Michael, even though Matt and I split up. I can't be with you, I can never be. I don't want to hurt Matt any deeper. I'm sorry.”

Mike looked into Jessica's eyes, trying to find a lie in her eyes. But she gave up, Jessica said sincerely. He really doesn't want to be with her, Matt's feelings are much more important than his current self. And that made his heart very sick. Is this how soon Jessica turned away from her? It wasn't a month or two that they had a relationship, but was it as soon as this was Jessica's love lost for her?

“Did you ever think about my feelings Jess?”

Jessica's gaze softened, not as sharp as before. Mike looked at Jessica sadly. He really knows if here he is wrong, but can't Jessica also think about her feelings? Here who took Jessica was Matt, Matt took Jessica from her. Why is it always as if he is being blamed? He just wants to be with his girl, that's all he wants.

Mike smiled sadly. Jessica's heart already belongs to Matt, he's not who the girl is. The question is, since when does Jessica's heart belong to Matt? What did Matt do so fast that Jessica turned away from him?

“But we can still be friends with Jess? Can you accompany me tonight?"

Jessica looked up, staring in awe at a house that had been designed like a magnificent palace. Even his mouth was wide open so amazed. Next to him Mike giggled at Jessica's reaction, had he and Jessica been married, he would have made it even more awesome than this. That's only if.

“Who married Mike?”

“Friends.”

Mike said with a smile, Mike was far more interested in looking at Jessica than at this luxurious palace. Jessica was right like a diamond, wearing a sapphire blue dress in her tiny body, and hair curled up. Really very beautiful. Frankly Mike was curious how Jessica looked in a wedding dress, he did not come when Matt and Jessica got married, for what he came. To kill Matt?

Jessica quickly closed her mouth, she felt she had over-inflated this magnificent palace. Jessica looked around, some of the guests also looked extremely luxurious with the clothes they were wearing. The four men turned their heads, and all four of them had the same expression, very surprised, but not looking at Mike, but looking at Jessica who was smiling awkwardly with them. Jessica looked one by one four men in front of her, as if she had seen them, but nowhere. Jessica shrugged her shoulders no matter what, maybe just her feelings.

One of the men with chubby cheeks hung up her sentence, Jessica slightly jerked. Why does this man know himself? Obviously he hasn't introduced his name since. Jessica felt bad, especially one of them looking at her with a dislike look.

“Me and Mike are friends, I just accompany him here” Mike's speech was cut Jessica's voice. The chubby man nodded briefly, although his intimate gaze was still fixed on Jessica, and the other three men.

“Where is Matt, Jess?”

Jessica gets jerked, they know Matt. So they knew he and Matt were a couple, and they deserved to look at him like that. Quickly, Jessica tried to release her arm that held Mike, but no less quickly Mike held her arm.

“You're here Tim.”

Jessica rounded her eyes, Matt, the man right in front of her with a girl she didn't recognize also holding Matt's arm. Matt's gaze also said the same thing, he was very surprised to see Jessica's whereabouts, but Matt's gaze turned to Mike's hand holding Jessica's arm. Matt clenched his hands firmly, apparently they began to dare to expand their relationship.

With a single jolt, Matt took off the arm of the girl holding his hand and pulled Mike's collar. All four of his friends, Jessica, and the girl with Matt are jolted, not knowing Matt can act so emotionally, especially at his best friend's wedding.

The emphasis was again thrown Matt, his four friends trying to separate them. Matt couldn't possibly punch Mike, right? At least not here, that's what the four best friends think.

“Matt, watch your behavior! Don't make trouble at my wedding!”

Timmy's emphatic remarks made Matt exhale angrily and push Mike's body. Next the man pulled Jessica's arm out without saying a word. Jessica's heart was pounding, she was really scared of this Matt. Matt couldn't have hurt her, right? That guy couldn't possibly beat him up, right?

With one push hard enough, he made Jessica sit in the passenger seat in front of his car. And without talking Matt drove his car somewhere. Silence, Jessica was very afraid to open her voice. Why did this misunderstanding happen again? Was it Mike that framed him all along? Why is Mike so mean to her? Really, he did not know if Mike's friend in question was Matt's friend as well, he was very sorry.

“Matt, it's not like-”

“I thought we could be like Jess.”

Jessica was quite jolted, Matt's emotions subsided, there was only a very painful soft voice. Matt remained focused on his steering wheel without intending to glance at Jessica. Matt felt his heart completely broken, he was already very tired of being angry. For the first time he saw Jessica so willingly accompanying Mike.

“You know why I didn't show you the divorce papers? Because I thought we could fix everything, because I thought I could forgive you.”

Jessica gasped, without realizing her tears came out. Somehow his chest is so tight, is Matt really gonna forgive him? Why is it like this? Was Matt not meant for himself? It's all just Mike's trap, really he was very sorry to accompany Mike at the wedding.

“But it turns out you're waiting for the divorce papers, haha.”

“Prepare yourself tomorrow, I'll invite father and mother to discuss divorce.”
