The River Restaurant

Corrine smiled as the wind blew on her face, right next to her was a beach with such an amazing view. He has to admit, Boltom's company was so smart it caught his eye.

Usually with a slightly heavy project topic they are meeting in a formal and closed place, but now he is here happily. I do not know how long he had not found a place like this, even to shop at the Mall he had to be supervised by his father's bodyguards.

“What are you doing here Corrine?” It looked confused and there was a hint of a happy smile emanating on his face.

Corrine's eyes began to glow. The happy times they had once passed were still remembered in the head of the girl. Quickly Adam stood up and walked out, Corrine flinched at the sudden movement of the older brother. Still with a puzzled face, two men entered the outdoor restaurant. Corrrine knows a tall, handsome man and his other athletic body, Mark Lee who claims to be Boltom's personal assistant. But this time he actually gasped at the other man, a handsome man, with a sharp face.

“Good afternoon Miss Corrine, I am Matthew Boltom director of Boltom company. Nice to meet you.”

Corrrine just gaped, she couldn't say a word. Is this real? Is he not dreaming? The man who claimed to be Matthew sat in front of him, while Mark Lee sat right next to the man.

“Nona.”

Corrine gasped as Dana, her personal assistant patted her on the shoulder. Corrine's surprised face turned into a stark look and a knotty smile. Dana was quite surprised by Corrine's reaction. For Dana, the boss never smiled at anyone, and this was the first time Dana saw him smile.

“Nona, we pls stop!”

Corrine kept running, today he should have been lucky. Away from that luxurious prison apartment, from all restraints. But the ringing of the goddamn cell phone actually made his father's bodyguard wake up and here he was, lined up by them. Almost a week ago the plan to escape from the Edmond Apartment he planned carefully, but now everything failed, completely failed.

“Let me go! You're Edmond's pet dog!”

Corrine tried to release her hands that had been gripped tightly by her father's bodyguard. No, this plan should not fail. Corrine's tears started coming out, why did she become like this? He also wants to be free, free like Adam. Not locked up for nearly 2 years.

Corrine crouched down and looked at the foreign man. Unknowingly her tears came out. The man was so sad, his face was a lot of bruises and his mouth was spewing out a lot of blood.

Corrine smiled, meeting Matt always in an unexpected place, but he liked it so much. Matt clucked, if it's like this today's meeting will be postponed. Matt steps away two steps from his desk and picks up the call.

“Halo darling, what's up?”

“Daddy, can Mom and I go out to eat pizza today?” Matt smiled as he heard his baby voice.

“Ayeay Captain! Me and Mommy are leaving at five o'clock in the afternoon for Pizza’s Luv, Daddy don't come home too late. Love you Daddy.”

Matt goes back to his desk and he sees his fancy watch, now it's almost 14:00. And at 14:15 he had to start a meeting in his office. Matt looked at Corrine who was staring the other way, Matt sighed. Today's meeting really needs to be postponed. Matt looked at Mark and showed his watch as a code, the understanding Mark nodded and stared at Corrine.

“Sorry Miss Corrine, it looks like today's meeting should be postponed. I hope our project works well together, especially Miss Corrine and my boss used to be good friends. Next meeting I will contact your assistant, Miss Dana.” Corrine did not react, she kept looking the other way without intending to answer Mark's question.

“Good, Mr. Mark later you can contact me directly for the next meeting.” Dana took a vote, and she looked at her boss. Dana understands here, Corrine loves her client, but she is married. But with this close he became aware, his superior was so childish.

“We excuse you, Miss Corrine, Miss Dana.” Matt and Mark left them both.

Corrine clenched her arms tightly, presumably the man had married someone else after several years of searching for her. Why is his love story like Adam?
