Boltom’s Company

07.13

Jessica looked at her watch, she smiled and looked at the handbag she was carrying. Inside there is soup and some grilled shrimp that Matt likes so much. Jessica placed the handbag next to her seat, then the beautiful girl stroked her flat stomach.

"Finally, I'm pregnant!" The woman smiled happily, in recent days she felt nausea and also her period was late for almost a month. After checking, the result was positive.

After three days of fighting, Matt never came home again. And today is the fourth day Lyn asks where her father is. And he's pretty sure, with news of Matt's pregnancy about to change, it's Matt's biological son anyway. And she was so hopeful to see again a happy and loving smile from Matt for her.

“We've arrived Madam.”

Jessica smiled and looked at the large building right in front of her. Jessica took a deep breath, in fact she was also mentally prepared for what she would see inside. And he really hopes Corrine is not in Boltom's office.

“I think I'll be long. You can go home first or have breakfast first Mr. Sam's. I'm going home with Matt."

“Good, Mistress.”

Mr. Sam, the middle-aged man smiled gently at Jessica. For almost twenty years he worked with the Boltom family. And maybe because of his aging age Mr. Boltom just positioned him as Mrs Boltom's personal driver. But he was very grateful, even his salary did not go down even though his position was very far with when he was young. He used to be one of Matthew's father's aides. But when the Great Lord moved to America, he preferred to live here with his beloved wife.

“Mr. Sam, I heard your wife is about to have surgery. Sorry I can't visit, I can only give this a little.”

Jessica took out an envelope from her jacket pocket and gave it to the middle-aged man. Sam was silent and looked surprised.

“Mrs.. But.”

“Please give my regards to your wife and my apology for not being able to visit her.”

Jessica said and left her car. He wished with a little kindness to the people around him, he also got a good thing today. Mr Sam, looking at the departure of his superior who had entered the building. He opened the chocolate envelope he was holding and gasped. One check worth ten thousand dollars. Mr. Sam's eyes glistened, he spoke softly.

“Thanks, thank you very much Madam.”

Jessica started walking into the elevator, and the moment from the front door the Company employees' gazes looked surprised by her presence. I don't know what they have in mind, he doesn't care.

Jessica pressed down on the top floor, her heart started to beat a little. The worry began to feel, either because Corrine or Matt were still upset with him. It's been three days since he met Matt.

“Mrs.” The elevator door opened and he saw Mark, Matt's personal assistant who was looking at him in surprise. Jessica smiled faintly.

“Master is in his room, Mark?”

“Tu..Mr. no Madam, se.so there is an important meeting.” Mark answered nervously.

“Alright, I'll wait in his room.”

“Mrs!”

Jessica gasped as Mark's voice rose, then the man scratched his nape and looked at her with a guilty look.

“I'm getting used to the presence of Corrine, I'll be fine.”

As if reading Mark's mind, Jessica smiled. She's not a stupid woman who likes to look for a commotion. And maybe Mark doesn't want that to happen, and he understands enough.

“Good Mistress, spirit!”

Jessica smiled amusedly looking at Mark who was clenching his hands with a sparkling look. Mark did not understand what his boss Matthew Boltom was thinking. He had a beautiful and caring wife, but he never refused if Corrine tried to approach him. Although he was a little thought it might be because of Boltom Comp's contract with Ed. Even though without a contract with Ed, Boltom is a fairly successful company in his field.

After crossing paths with Mark, Jessica continued her steps towards Matt's room. As he wanted to reach the hinges of the door, suddenly the oak-painted door opened, featuring Corrine being quite surprised by Jessica's presence.

“We meet again Mrs Villegas.”

Corrine's shock was now replaced with a low gaze and a cynical smile. Jessica took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. To be honest, she is not a typical woman who likes to commotion, so she always gets bullied at Senior High School. But there was Matt helping her, and now?

Jessica's emotions peaked, she clenched her hands tightly. It's impossible to slap Corrine's depraved mouth here. At least, not here.

Corrine walked past Jessica, the girl who had a height of 170 centimeters was just smiling triumphantly. Seeing Jessica's angry face made her very satisfied.

“Come in, I let you. But don't expect Matt to forgive you, lowly woman!” Corrine whispered.

“Low women?” Jessica smiled sinisterly, she turned around and saw Corrine who was also looking at her cynically.

“The lowly woman you despise now is SAH wife Matthew Boltom.” Jessica walked slowly towards Corrine who looked surprised. The Edmond girl was shocked by Jessica's verbal resistance.

“You just can't accept it all. The reality is Matthew loves ME and marries Me. And vou? You're just a lonely woman teasing him. No more than that.” Jessica smiled wryly.

“A..What?” Corrine's cynical gaze was replaced with a gaze full of anger, this time Corrine who clenched her hands tightly.

“You must accept the fact Corrine, I am.”

Jessica brought her body closer to Corrine, she disgusts her heels. Because, indeed the height with Corrine is quite far. Slowly but with great emphasis, Jessica said.

...the position you want most, Mrs Boltom. THAT'S ME.” Jessica took a step back, she still smiled sinisterly looking at Corrine's face which started to turn red with anger.

“Even if I cheated three or four times, Matthew would still love me.”

Jessica started to turn around and stepped back towards Matt's room. Corrine was still speechless, she could not say anything, because everything Jessica said was true. And he couldn't answer it.

......................

“Matthew!”

Matt flinched, at the door was Jessica who was waving at him. What's Jessica here for? Did he run into Corrine? He remembered, Corrine came out of his room a few minutes ago. But looking at Jessica who came over full of smiles, they should not have passed each other.

“I'm busy, what's up?”

Jessica took a deep breath. Seeing Matt's cold response to his arrival made him quite disappointed. For three days they had not met.

“I brought you breakfast, and also-“

“Put it on the table, you can come out."

Really, from Corrine's words to her. Matt's words hurt a lot more to him. She wanted to share the good news, the news of her pregnancy. But it was even MORE grief that he received.

“Matt, can you see me for five minutes?” Matt breathed an annoyed sigh.

“What time do I look free now? Than you here looking for a commotion. You better go home Jess, this office is so quiet without you.”

“What is your life too?” This time Matt looked at Jessica, Jessica turned to look at him with a sad look.

“What will your life also be quiet without me?”

Matt clenched his hands tightly. No, he can't answer that question. Deep in her heart she still could not leave Jessica. He still loves that Villegas girl.

“Have enough nonsense talk? Out jess! Out!”

Matt's shout was now able to tear down his defenses. Tears are now slipping through Jessica's cheeks without her control. For the first time Matt was snapping at her, and it was so painful.

“If you don't want to go out, then I'll come out.” Matt started to stand up and walked closer to her.

“Enough, enough Matt. I'll be out.”

Jessica put her handbag on the table and left the room. Leaving behind Matt who could only stare at him with a guilty feeling.
