Lutfi Gilang's

Lutfi Gilang's
17. Lcc Selection

i

On Thursday, before the lesson began, I took the time to work on the LCC that I got from Gyan yesterday. Some I have already memorized, but the matters of calculation are not really clear.

Gyan said, there are 100 questions taken from the Indonesian maple, English, history, PPKN, geography, sociology, chemistry, biology, and two of the most difficult lessons for me: mathematics and physics.

There are ten maples in total. So each one comes out as many as 10 questions. And I can't guess what that is.

In addition to two lessons that are very hampering for me, said Gyan, each participant must pass a written selection that is carried out within one hour, with the condition of passing, the value of each maple 7. So the average is also at least 7. After that, you can follow the quick answer. And the winner who will represent the school.3 people.

Imagine, how to divide 100 questions from 10 maples in 60 minutes? Getting the right results from that question alone, I can't. So I told Gyan yesterday that I definitely wouldn't be able to represent the class for the LCC race.

But there are still other criteria for taking the quick answer test. First, you have to enter the top three. Second, each maple should not have a value below seven. What a troublesome condition, I think.

Suddenly, I don't know how long and for some reason, Gilang kept silent while watching me. Not usually, or maybe his neck is gout, because usually he continues to look to the left side, all the time and every day, to sleep. I don't know, I don't want to talk about it.

Long time I buried, but it made me uncomfortable. So I asked: “What's up?”

She shook her head.

I'm back to studying. Reviewing the Latin languages of plants and animals, digestive processes, respiratory processes, and so on. But, honestly, I could not focus my eyes repeatedly looking at Gilang who was still staring at me sharply.

Breathe in. Looking towards him. “Udah, by the way aja.”

He mutters.

“Udah by the way.”

No answer, just a little smile.

“Call!”

“He.” She laughs.

“Ih, why are you, anyway?” I said geget myself.

“Hmmm.... You are so excited, yes?”

“Spirit?”

“Iya. From earlier learned mulu, but yesterday also learned.”

Did ya? Ask myself.

“You sure you don't want to pass the selection?”

I'm shaking.

“Why?” He's nanya.

“I'm not sure.” I answered.

“Ga sure how?”

“I don't really understand mapel count.”

“So?”

“Ya, so I won't be able to pass the selection.”

“Who said?”

“Ha?” I'm rattled. “Who said, what?”

“Who said, if you can't pass the selection?”

I looked down, feeling a deep sense of insecurity.

“What if we bet?” suddenly asked Gilang, making me shocked.

I looked at both of his eyes looking at me sharply. “Hah? Bet?”

He's nagging.

“That's a sin to know, I don't want.” I said, then melengos.

“Loh, why?”

“Ih, you know, sebel.”

I was really confused with Gilang. Maybe he was betting, even though I was feeling pessimistic. He may ask why the bet is a sin. Maybe he made me not in the mood to study.

“Emang bet what try?”

“Ga knows.” I said ketus.

I looked back at him who I thought there was something different about him that day. But, I still haven't noticed.

“Who among us will get the highest test score, can ask for anything, but only one thing, how?”

“Can you ask anything?”

Gilang. The smile on his face was blotting out all the negative feelings and thoughts in my heart. I'm honestly interested in his invitation. But I'm a little worried in case Gilang wins—although for me at that time it's impossible—he could ask for something weird. I was too afraid to take the risk.

“Quiet, I also will not ask strange kok.” he said brushed aside the unrest of my heart.

I was confused, from where he could tell, often knowing what I was thinking secretly. I don't know, for sure, at that very second, honestly, I was more excited to get a perfect score. So I ignored Gilang again and opened the problem sheets. Back learning.

I don't want to lose, especially from lazy students like him. My heart exclaims.

During the break, I was a bit surprised by the friends who were still sitting sweetly in their seats. Not usually.

Soon Kelvin stepped forward and faced us.

“Good. Thank you all my friends, for giving me time to talk about something very important.”

What's important? It's diem, it's noisy. I want to study again.

“Today, I'll give you an announcement and swear.”

Scroll towards Gilang, he doesn't care. The man remained focused on the biology package book.

I'm rattled. Today, Gilang did not sleep as usual, he continued to read the package book from this morning.

Ow hell! Does he really want to be worth more than me? It could be bad if that. But, I can't make it up to this noise.

“I, Kelvin Bastiant, tenth class eleven chairman promised, will shoot Lutfi Nurtika if pass selection.”

I was shocked to death to hear it. From the corner of my eyes, Gilang looked surprised as well. You could even say he was a little angry. Classmates gave a standing ovation. Most of them got up and greeted Kelvin, encouraging the goods of the times.

Goddamnit! To me, it was the greatest humiliation.

Amidst the class frenzy, Gyan suddenly turned his back, staring at me. “Sstt.... she's not sane what, huh?”

“Maybe!” I agree at once furious.

“He thinks, like that cool? You do, yeah?”

“Iya!”

Gilang suddenly got up for some reason, then said loudly: “Teacher is coming!” And sat down quickly and opened the book.

Suddenly, the crowd dispersed. Back to their own territory. However, when it is awaited. A minute, five minutes, and keep waiting. No one comes in, makes them throw each other the same question: “Where?”

Kulirik towards him who turned back to learning. I smiled, it was nice, she helped me secretly.

But, I realized, after the bell rang, I had to score higher than Kelvin. I, will not let him pass the selection!

The final lesson bell rings. No need to wait too long, Bu Yuni entered the classroom with another teacher. He is Mr. Maskur, BP's teacher who is notoriously fierce because it is very disciplined to force every student to run all school rules.

He gave his greetings, then gave the command so that the students sitting on the left side of the table to move to the next class. Because at the actual exam later, I mean next month, all participants will sit one by one and be supervised by three teachers. Also at that time, class X-10 was studying in the chemistry lab. So the class is empty, ga kepake.

When Gilang got up from his seat, I felt like I was missing something very precious. But, before he left, he said: “You know why many students can get a hundred?”

“Why?” I asked because I was curious.

“There are two things.”

“What?

“Because of God's suggestion and will.”

“Means.”

“They are sure that the matter that comes out is easy, continue to surrender the result is the same Lord.”

Hearing that made me so much more excited. For some reason, it feels like my confidence will get a perfect score soared so fiercely.

I smiled at Gilang who also smiled at me.
