The Gift That Was Rejected

Tok tok tok. (the door sounds on tap).

"Yongsan. Sir, there's a master Shin Ji Joon wants to see you." The assistant walks into Yokada's office.

"Ohh, tell her to come in." said Yokada looking serious with the files in front of him.

"Annyeong haseo," said Shin Ji Joon into Yokada's office.

"Aa Shin, come in." said Yokada to let Shin Ji Joon sit down.

"What's wrong? Tumben came to my clinic? Usually invited to a meeting at the Bar," joked Yokada chuckling as he put away the files in front of him.

"Ahh no. It's just a coincidence to pass by." replied Shin Ji Joon kindly.

Shin Ji Joon placed the shopping bag on the floor. He sat down casually in front of Yokada.

"Oh yeah, I heard you bought a Cafe in my clinic at a high price?? What is?! Can't you make the Cafe bigger and get ahead of that little Cafe?!" yokada asked curiously.

"I bought only a few shares. It was also cheap." Shin Ji Joon explained with a smile.

"Shin Ji Joon, Shin Ji Joon. I've known you for a long time. I know who you are." Yokada said walking towards the window looking at the cafe across the clinic.

Shin Ji Joon followed Yokada back into the guest chair.

"really?! Then how's it going?" asked Shin curiously.

"You're not there to see how things are?" asked Shin feeling worried.

"I can't go there. If I go there, all my plans will be ruined." Yokada explained confusedly.

"In the port of Incheon. The warehouse was the only big warehouse there." replied Yokada.

"You want to go there for me?" ask Yokada to Shin Ji Joon.

"Oh yes, this is for your sister" Shin Ji Joon gave Yokada a shopping bag.

"Time of the shoot. Your sister made an appointment with me through a message. He wants to give her the file you put on her. But because my phone missed I don't know what promise he made. Yokada looked at the contents of the shopping bag in his hand. He looked at Shin Ji Joon seriously.

Yokada got up from his seat. He's headed for the fridge in the corner of his room. Yokada took out 2 cans of the drink and gave one of them to Shin.

Yokada leaned his body on his desk. The one right in front of Shin Ji Joon.

"My sister is unique. She's not like most women who like such things." Yokada explained.

Yokada casually enjoyed the drink in his hand. Yokada turned and sat back to his chair.

"If he comes back later, set your time. Take her to Jungang for a short walk, she will love it." Yokada told Shin Ji Joon.

Shin Ji Joon was silent at the contents of the bag. He smiled faintly at Yokada's words. Shin put the shopping bag back on the floor. Shin Ji Joon grabs a can of drink in front of him, then drinks it.

"Jungong?! Hag, isn't that a market??!" asked Shin doubtfully.

"Hmmm. If you want." said Yokada.

"If he comes home later I'll tell you." Yokada continued.

"Thank you" said Shin Ji Joon with a faint smile.

He casually enjoyed the drink Yokada served. Their conversation was very relaxed and peaceful.
