LOVE OF ORDINARY MEN

LOVE OF ORDINARY MEN
Prejudice

After the Isha prayer, Alzam was seen removing something from the lunch box. Olivia, who had just left the room, immediately approached the husband in the kitchen there.

He stood beside Alzam, watching what the young man was doing.

“So afternoon, mom brought peanut butter. He said make our side dishes tonight. You like a spit don't?” ask Alzam.

“Like. Uh... that's what, Mas?” asked Olivia while pointing towards the plastic box earlier.

Alzam then took one of the small fish that became the main ingredient of the cuisine given by Bu Aminah.

“This?” ask Alzam to make sure.

Olivia nodded as well.

“This is called teri. Have you never seen it before?” ask Alzam again.

“Ehm... Not rich yet. But really like fish anyway,” said Olivia.

“This is fish, Liv. His name is anchovy. Try the cicipin. Delicious you know,” exciting Alzam.

Olivia took a small hold that was in Alzam's hands, with a frown and full of doubts. He watched the shape of the vertebrate animal closely, until finally Olivia put it in her mouth.

Alzam continued to notice the expression on his wife's face, who had eaten the little fish for the first time.

“Where? Yummy no?” ask Alzam.

“Enak. Mother's cooking is always champion. Puooolll. No doubt about it. But what's that stuff, Mas?” answer Olivia.

“That's because the fish is dried, so it's more salty. But if you make rice cement, the salt will not be very strong kok,” said Alzam.

The young man then feeds the fried peanuts, which also enter the dish into Olivia's mouth.

“Ehm... Delicious, Mas. Crunchy. I want dong make side dishes,” said Olivia.

Alzam was smiling. He then put the empty lunch box into the dishwasher, and walked towards the refrigerator, to pick up a box of tempeh still wrapped in teak leaves.

“You fried tempeh yes, Mas?” ask Olivia.

“Ehm... There are peanuts. The rice is also already there, just make a side dish aja,” replied Alzam.

“Sini let Oliv aja fried, Mas,” bargain Olivia.

Alzam who just finished peeling the leaves of the tempe wrapper turned to the wife.

“Do you really want to try?” ask Alzam.

Olivia nodded for sure. The young man complied and put down the knife he was holding at the time, and retreated to give his wife a place.

He then took the marinated seasoning, and dissolved it with enough water. While giving direction to his wife, Alzam's hands continued to move to help prepare spices, oil and also a pan.

Olivia took a long time just to cut the tempe into pieces. Even the size is different. Some are thin, some are thick. There are things that are attacking, there are also perpendicular.

But all that became understandable for Alzam, considering the first time his little wife did such homework. She was grateful that Olivia was willing to learn a little.

“Input the temple into the seasoning to soak, then later enter into hot oil,” exclaimed Alzam.

He kept giving orders to Olivia. Not infrequently the girl asked for some steps used when making something. Alzam also patiently gave an answer that could be accepted by Olivia's mind, considering that the girl always had a critical view and did not want to accept illogical reasons.

“Rendem is enough. Do not overdue also later salinity. Now, put the temp into the hot oil. But be careful, do not get hit by hands,” cried Alzam.

Olivia took one slice of tempeh and tried to put it in a skillet with her bare hands.

“Aaaaa..!” squeal Olivia.

Alzam immediately grabbed the girl's hand and saw her condition.

“Why? It's oil, huh? Which one hurts?” ask Alzam to panic.

Seeing the husband care so much about you, made Olivia's heart beat and her face blushed. He looked at Alzam who was looking down at his hand.

The girl smiled too. He approached and kissed Alzam's cheek. The young man raised his face and looked at his wife.

“You know me yes?” alzam was upset.

However, Olivia shook her head.

“Ngak. Bad at all,” says Olivia.

“Tadi tuh I was just shocked when the sound of oil rame,” replied Olivia.

Hearing that, Alzam could only sigh deeply. He was already worried that Olivia was up to why, but it turned out only because of the shock of hearing the sound of hot oil entering the water from the marination tempe.

The young man then asked Olivia to continue frying the temp, but this time Alzam took a stainless seal to secure the wife's hand.

The girl continued to smile at herself, as she recalled the reaction of Alzam who was so worried about her.

After finishing, Olivia also serves tempe on the plate. Pretty good results for a beginner.

They began to eat dinner, with a simple yet meaningful dish and warmth.

After eating, the two returned together to clean the tableware they had just used. Olivia kept asking her husband to teach her things and Alzam patiently taught her.

Then, Alzam and Olivia did their own activities. The girl chose to be in the room and learn something for her lecture tomorrow, while the husband was seen watching TV in the living room while lesehan with a mat that had been used for eating.

With a pillow, he threw himself in there.

At about nine o'clock in the evening, Olivia came out of her room and saw her husband still watching the television broadcast in front of her.

The girl sat down and joined her husband. Alzam turned his head or rather looked up, saw the arrival of his wife and then looked back at the flat screen.

“Udah learn it?” ask Alzam.

“Udah,” sahut Short Olivia.

“Not sleepy?” ask Alzam again.

“Not yet,” says Olivia is back briefly.

Hearing Olivia's answer that is always short, making Alzam turn back.

“You why the hell? Who else is bete?”

“Morning bete with you,” says Olivia Ketus.

“My name? It looks like it was okay. Why suddenly bete gini anyway?” ask Alzam.

“I just want if our problem was not around this afternoon,” replied Olivia.

“Today? Oh... Which I overslept. I'm sorry, Liv,” Alzam said as he got up and sat down in front of Olivia.

“Not that,” tepis Olivia.

“Terus?” ask Alzam.

“Why didn't you say that Nurul was also in the study?” ask Olivia back.

Alzam just remembered that he had not explained the matter to his wife. He also seems to raise both eyebrows, a sign of hesitation to answer.

“Kok onem?” ask Olivia ketus.

“I'll say, but you promise don't get mad ya,” said Alzam.

Hearing the words of Alzam, made Olivia even more upset, because it seemed to confirm the girl's prejudice over her husband's best friend.

“You guys are playing behind me huh?” terka Olivia's.

“Sorry yes, Liv,”
