LOVE OF ORDINARY MEN

LOVE OF ORDINARY MEN
Come together

The day passed so quickly. I don't feel like I'm in the school holiday season. This moment was used by Alzam and Olivia to visit Nurul's house, and talk about Leon's problem which they discussed the other day.

The house looks simple with a terrace and a spacious courtyard. Although it only consists of one floor, but the house looks so high because the front pole is so large and sturdy.

The place is also equipped with a pulpit, which is commonly used by Nurul's father who was a prominent cleric in his territory.

Even the terrace and yard of his house are often used as a place of weekly routine study attended by hundreds of worshipers. There is also a regular monthly study scheduled in some places on a rotating basis, and it will be attended by many more pilgrims.

Alzam has often followed studies filled by Nurul's father. Even the hijrah youth Padepokan often invite him to give tausiah.

His arrival this time, was welcomed by the Nurul family. The mother was so enthusiastic to welcome the presence of Olivia who also came there. The old woman even rubbed Olivia's big belly and asked her how she was doing.

“Nak Alzam is a wedding that is not legal. Tau-tau already big aja stomach his wife,” said Mother Nurul.

“Sorry, Miss nyai. Alzam emang deliberately did not want a big reception,” replied Alzam.

“Ngak papa's. It's not what matters, ” said Nurul's father.

“Si This Father. Mom is just nanya. In part, the mother also needs references for Nurul's happy day later,” said Nurul's mother.

“Oh yes, by the way has Nurul been there to preach, Bu nyai?” ask Olivia.

“Oh... Haven't. Nothing yet. Which is a lot, just his son did not want to be either. Don't know why. Even though his age friend has been in a baby carrier. Alzam is also a man even already wants to have a momongan,” replied mother nurul.

“Mother yes, always discuss that. There is nothing really that comes, Mom. If there is Nurul also want to,” said Nurul who just came out from the inside.

The girl looked as graceful as ever, despite wearing a simple home-grown robe. Nurul sat next to her mother, who was sitting in a long chair with Olivia.

“Iya, haven't been sreg. New Taarufan No Week Udah Retreat,” Sindir Mother Nurul.

“Ya kan taaruf that in addition to knowing each other, also accompanied by the same istikharah. If God does not give guidance, why take risks and keep going. It's called suicide,” timpal Nurul keukeuh.

Olivia just saw the other side of the girl who had always looked calm, submissive and also gentle in front of everyone. Initially, Olivia thought that with a religious family background like this, the girl would always be polite and polite, it turns out her interaction with both parents just looks so relaxed.

“Ish, you are this. Nak Alzam, if you have any acquaintances who want to be with Nurul, try here. Once upon a recommendation from his deket, he so want,” said Nurul's mother.

Alzam and Olivia were seen exchanging glances, as if talking telepathically.

“Ehm... Sorry, Nyai ma'am. Actually, our arrival here, in addition to hospitality, there are also other destinations,” said Alzam.

“What destination, Son? Just say,” said Ayahanda Nurul.

“Our arrival here is none other than to represent our friend, who intends to taaruf with Nurul,”.

“Temen? Who, Zam?” nurul asked in surprise.

“Is. You also know him,” timpal Olivia.

The young teacher was seen squinting his eyes at the couple. He guessed who the friends meant by the two.

What do not-don't.., inner Nurul.

“We don't mind that, son. Only, can we know who he was before,” asked Nurul's father.

“Name Leon. He's a college friend of Olivia's and my wife's best friend since childhood. She first got to know Nurul at our wedding, and since then they've often met in my tavern. I see, Nur,” asked Alzam.

Nurul's silent. Her eyes were still looking forward, with her hands twisting the tip of her hijab.

“Trade Nak Oliv? Then she's younger than Nurul?” ask Mother Nurul.

“Where is this, Sir?” ask Mother Nurul.

“Bapak has never had a problem with age. People who are old are not necessarily adults. It could be the younger, the more mature and reliable. Only, what about his family? How's religion? That's what you want to know,” asked Nurul's father.

Alzam and Olivia hesitated to reveal it. They're not happy with Leon, if they have to be too forthright about how he is.

“Instead of asking Alzam, invite him to come here. So, Father and Mother can see for themselves how his son,” between Nurul mediate.

The mother noticed the expression on the princess's face that looked tense and nervous. This is much different from before, where the girl will always be relaxed and answer straightforwardly every thing that becomes a problem.

A mother does have a higher sensitivity to what happens to her child than the father.

Hearing the words of his daughter, Mother Nurul also agreed to the words of the girl.

“Ya already if so the decision. I leave it to you to schedule the meeting of the child with Father and Mother,” said Ayahanda Nurul.

“Good, Mr. kyai. I'll give my friend a message. Previously, thank you for giving Leon the opportunity to get acquainted with this family even closer,” said Olivia.

“Sama-sama, Son Oliv. Hopefully this time, Nurul has no more doubts in his heart,” said Nurul's mother.

While the girl, just kept quiet while thinking about something that had made her look more quiet than before.

After revealing the purpose of their arrival, Olivia and Alzam continued to have casual conversations with the family.

At noon, Olivia hitchhiked the dzuhur prayer at the house, while Alzam and the kyai prayed together at a nearby mosque. Until the time shows at one noon, the two went home after having lunch together there.

On the way, in an online taxi, Olivia is back to thinking about the problem of Leon being invited to come to Nurul's house.

“Mas, I'm worried about leon,” said Olivia.

“Ehm... Worry why?” ask Alzam.

“Ya worry aja. I didn't think Nurul was actually Kyai's son. Leon doesn't know yet, does he?" ask Olivia back.

"I don't know about that problem. Why the hell?" ask Alzam again.

"Yes, I am worried. You know what Leon is going to do. He is still a science of religion. If rejected, he will be hit hard. This is the first time the kids want to be serious with one girl, Mas. He was not gini,” Olivia said.

“We wish Leon all the best. If indeed God outlined him Nurul's soul mate, want to go to how the obstacles, surely they will also be together. You don't have to think heavy. Inget, later dede also follow stress, you know,” cried Alzam.

"Yes, yes, my dear husband" Olivia said.

The woman slipped spoiled in her husband's arm, trying to close her eyes to rest for a moment.
