Hold on or let go

Quietly looking at the flickering view of the city lights, contemplating between the thick of the night, aloof on the top floor of the half-finished building where he served. Even the sound of footsteps did not make him look.

"Gue will not be destroyed for the second time what you have fought for so far," said Angga who this time made Jay turned his head, staring full of questions.

"Both times?" tanya Jay is full of emphasis.

"The woman you've guarded and protected all this time she's my younger sister, the sister I've taken away her happiness. Made him suffer for a long time.

Jay further rounded his eyes, demanding more explanation.

"Roman did all that, because of me," although Angga did not clearly tell her, it seems like Jay has understood enough. Both of his hands clenched, his mind growling furiously.

"Lu can hit me as much as possible" said Angga.

"Never will it ever bring things back. Kinara suffering will not be redeemed with anything," said Jay sharpen.

"Gue knows that, what should I do right now?" asked Angga with reddened eyes.

"Give her happiness back" Jay said.

Angga nodded, with tears slowly dripping down. Regret makes his heart crumble.

"Thank you for everything you've done for my sister" said Angga, who was ignored by Jay, waltzing away. Leave Angga who still curses his actions in the past.

Jay swings her way to Evan's room, her mind turbulent at the thought of how disappointed Kinara would be if she found out her older sister was involved in the incident. Maybe he'll get hurt.

Opening the door slowly, Roman looks gently rubbing the face of Kinara who was sleeping down on Evan's side. Jay closed the door again, choosing to look behind the small glass of the door. Roman then slowly lifted Kinara's body moving her onto the sofa, laying her down gently even enveloping her.

Sincerity emanated clearly from Roman's face, tucking in the jealousy that Jay had to press deeply. I don't know, there's an indignation that's piercing his mind.

"Can we talk for a moment" said Hana who was suddenly behind him. As if understanding why Jay chose to just stand still.

Jay looked up, followed Hana.

"Slowly Kinara will be able to accept my brother's sincerity, give way for them to be together. I know my request must be very heavy," said Hana flat but deep.

"Happiness is not about what we see, but what we feel," Jay answered clearly, without wasting time standing longer in front of the person who keeps forcing him to re-bury his feelings. Even though he was worried.

Hana was silent, for the sake of her sister or just for her own sake she behaved like that. Maybe he was still expecting Jay. How could

selfish himself, self-blame.

There was no sound of chicken, nor the chirping of birds humming cheerfully this morning. Kinara was closed soundly all night. Unaware of all night Roman who was by his side, looking after him who was asleep.

Kinara began to blink her eyes, her eyes then went around sweeping the room to a halt at the figure who was painstakingly feeding Evan.

"Mom's awake" said Evan, turning to Kinara.

"I'm sorry Mom, I overslept," replied Kinara stammered guiltily.

"And there's a father who takes care of Evan, so I can rest."

Kinara smiled, moving into the bathroom washing her face.

"Now the mother who bribes yes, I will want to work," persuaded Kinara.

Evan nodded, "but Evan asked for one more" he said, grabbing the two's hands and then putting them together. "Evan wants father and mother forever" he said expectantly.

Kinara's hesitation answered him, slowly pulling his hand from Roman's grasp. "Father and Mother will be there for Evan forever," the sentence was finally spoken full of tranquility even though his mind said otherwise. "Father and Mother will always be there for you, even if they don't have to be together."

"Dad go first, there's a sudden affair. Dad immediately picked up Evan after the doctor allowed Evan to come home," said Roman as he gently rubbed the top of the little boy's head.

"Yes Dad.." Evan understood, then greeted his father and kissed the back of his hand.

"Dad go now" Evan smiled.

"Don't forget to eat, I've bought you breakfast. I go first," switch to Kinara.

Kinara nodded, "thank you" he said, sounding too official.

"Mom, why don't you fuck Dad," Evan's protest made the two awkward.

"Be careful," nervously Kinara greeted Roman who then also kissed the back of her hand as Evan did. Evan looked very happy to see the scene.

While Roman hopes in his heart, if this is real is not pure.

That day the doctor let Evan go home. Roman, who was contacted directly by Evan, immediately returned to the hospital to take care of all his administration and drove Evan back to his home.

Merrily babbling filled the atmosphere during the return trip. Evan looks very happy, veranda gurou with his father. While Kinara was more silent, it was just a smile when Evan started chattering again.

Not long after, Roman pulled the car over. Carrying Evan's sleeping body, Kinara held all the other luggage.

"Let me carry it," Pinta Roman grabbed a large bag that looked heavy.

"No need, Evan is also heavy," but Roman still took it.

While inside the house, Ms. Ira had tidied up Kinara's room. Ready to wait for the grandchildren's return.

"Thank God, Evan can go home as soon as possible" he said as the three of them arrived.

"Yes Ma'am, now Evan's condition has begun to improve" replied Kinara.

"Look good sleep, just taken to the room," Ira's mom stepped up first, pointing out the room she meant.

"Saking happy to go home, Evan did not want to take a nap. Only now does he want to sleep" Roman said after laying Evan's body down.

"Thank you very much Roman," said Ira.

"Why do you thank me, it's my job, I'm his father" Roman replied smilingly.

Ms. Ira smiled back, "Mother prepare the food first, you must be tired and hungry, too" said Ms. Ira.

"Let me help Mom" Kinara said.

"No, you are Roman. I'm just staying here" refused Ira.

The neat room that actually looked quite comfortable turned stuffy for Kinara when it came to sharing the air with Roman.

"May I ask one thing for you" Roman asked.

"Yes." replied Kinara expressionlessly.

"For the sake of our child, pretend to be happy while at my side" Roman asked expectantly.

"At least until he can accept the reality" Roman added.

Kinara nodded, "sorry.." That's all he said from his mouth.

"Although I never stopped hoping that fate would bring the three of us together forever" said Roman, who stepped out of the room. He realized Kinara was not comfortable being with him.
