Under the dim light, Jay looked at the ring he had just taken out of his jacket pocket. The ring that should have been coiled around Kinara's ring finger, but was delayed by some incident. So many tests of his love, he lamented that never went unnoticed.
"It's just a symbol, without or with this I hope our feelings will never change. I believe there's a way for us" Jay's inner self without taking his eyes off the ring's luster.

Elsewhere, Kinara was still awake. Evan could not sleep well, restless and always delirious, saying the word father. Maybe so tired of playing all day, plus a sense of longing for the father, thought Kinara. Swiping his forehead gently without stopping, hoping to give peace to his beloved baby. But not much effect.
Circumstances make him turn panicky, when Evan shivers instead. While his body temperature soared up felt stinging to the touch. Fever-lowering drugs, and compresses that have been for hours do not make his body temperature gradually drop. I want help, I don't know who. At times like this he really needs the figure of Bu Ira, but he is in Jogja because of urgent business.
One-third of the night, Evan's fever hasn't gone down. Many times he woke up to drink water to prevent dehydration, repeatedly Evan complained his head hurt.
"Mother.sick Ma'am.sinya very sick," Evan groaned softly, pointing at his head.
"Dear on, hold on. We'll go to the hospital. Mother again asked for help," Kinara looked very worried.
"Call Mom's dad...."
"Yes dear.patience yes," Kinara repeatedly contacted Jay and Roman, hoping that one of them would be connected. But still empty, both mute in his mind.
"Mother.." Evan screamed hard enough to endure the pain, until suddenly lost consciousness. His body was stiff, lips were turning blue, his breathing seemed to stop.
"Evan.." cried Kinara who was so panicked, not knowing what to do. Never found a situation like this.
"Evan..wake up dear," tried to touch her cheek. As Evan begins to breathe shallowly, his body continues to twitch never stopping.
"Darling.." cried Kinara. Seeing such a state he just realized Evan had a seizure.
His brain begins to work, taking what he can take to put into Evan's mouth, preventing his tongue from being bitten to death.
A few minutes later, Evan's body was normal. No longer twitching like that, along with that, the sound of the door banging from the direction so hard broke the sunyinya of the night.
"Hurry to open Kinara?" screams from out there.
"What happened to Evan?" roman asked frantically, as soon as the door opened.
"Evan spasm," he replied slowly. Roman immediately stepped quickly into the room, seeing Evan lying limp. Starting to be able to let out his voice, crying softly when he saw the figure of the father.
"We're taking him to the hospital" he said in a panic, holding his body.
"Yes Mas," Kinara grabbed her sweater and sling bag quickly, walking up to Roman's quick steps.
It only took thirty minutes to get to the hospital, Evan was getting treatment in the emergency room. While the two people waited anxiously outside.
"How's my son Doc?" urgently Roman urged the Doctor to emerge from the room.
"The diagnosis while your child has an infection caused by a virus, but to be more precise we wait for the results of the laboratory check tomorrow," said the Doctor.
"Not dangerous, is it Doc?" anxious strokes were so visible on Roman's face as well as Kinara.
"Don't worry, after a few days of inshaAlloh the son of the Father will soon recover" replied the Doctor.
"Thank you Doc."
"Sama-sama, please...Mom and Dad can come in. Will soon be delivered by the nurse to the inpatient room."
"Okay Doc, thanks again."

Being in the VIP room that felt very comfortable, Evan lay weak. Calling the name of Mother.
"Mother.." - She turned, moving her hand, reaching for her hand.
"Evan wants to sleep" he said, closing his eyes. At that moment both Roman and Kinara were afraid, something they did not want to happen.
"Don't think bad, Evan just needs a break. Tomorrow he will wake up in a better state" said Roman trying to calm Kinara, though his own heart was struck by mounting fear.
Resisting her tiredness and sleepiness, Kinara continued to pay attention to Evan. Not even a second away from his monitor.
"Let me take care of Evan" said Roman who was not supported at all by Kinara.
"Evan will be fine, tomorrow he will be healed" said Roman softly as he sat next to Kinara.
Kinara just lowered her head, "i'm not a good mother, making Evan up like this," she said sounding soft.
"You wonderful Mother," Roman replied, grabbing Kinara's body leaning on her shoulder. Gently rubbed his shoulders until his eyes closed, unwinding the tiredness that had afflicted him.
"I want tomorrow, the day after tomorrow to be by your side like this. Being where you lean takes off all the burdens. I love you Kinara," Roman's last sentence whispered softly as he rubbed the intimate strands of Kinara's hair in his arms.
Morning dew drips from the leaves, looks sparkling by the radiance of the sun that has perched dashing eroded the concentrate of the night. The tiny hand moved slowly, his eyes twitching softly. The beautiful scenery was real when the view began to look clear. Smiling to see Dad hugging his warm mother who is still closed.
As if he felt called, Roman woke up. Seeing the smile of the child makes her tired evaporate as far as possible.
"Husssttt," gestured for Evan to let his mother sleep.
Evan who responded with the intention of the father, just smiled nodding his head. He did love to see his father and mother so close, so warm.
In the doorway there, someone without a sound stared at the scene. His heart crumbled formless looking at the woman he loved being comfortable in the arms of another man. Trying to be heartened, accepting the situation, understanding Evan's feelings is Jay's choice. Stepping back, choosing to stand guard in the row of outdoor waiting chairs. Trying to reshape his heart, to stay afloat despite bitter feelings. The story is not easy.
Kinara, who was beginning to feel glare at the brightening rays of the sun, opened her eyes slowly. Moving away from the embrace of Roman that he just realized.
"Sorry.." he said awkwardly aware of the situation.
"Mom just woke up?" evan's chirp with his smile made Kinara so relieved happy.
"Why didn't Evan wake up?" while unraveling her warm embrace, her face sparkled at once to see her baby cheerful this morning.
"Mother sleeps very well in the arms of father, said father do not be built first," he said innocently made Roman turn his back, caught his act. Kinara looked awkward.
"Nothing means anything, only you look like it's really good," he pleaded.
"Yes, I'm looking for breakfast first. Cassian your mother, don't get sick, '" Roman said goodbye.
"Yes, yeah..."
Roman moved out, looking a figure he was very familiar with was sitting leaning with both hands folded.
"When have you been here?" tanyanya flat.
"Since then," Jay replied no less flatly, without even looking at him at all.
"They're up, just in" Roman said.
"Where are you going?" turn tanya.
"Find breakfast."
"Let me, Evan needs you more" replied Jay.
Jay's words astonished Roman, the slingshot was Jay's heart.
"But Kinara needs you too" he replied spontaneously.
"What's more important now is Evan. Me and Kinara don't think about it. We can take care of our own hearts" Jay said, hiding the meaning Roman needed to think for himself what he meant.
