50. Leo

That night Leo had staked out Arina's shelter. Leo is helped by three other people who are trying to find a safe point to help Arina. As per the information of his confidant, Jimy left the place this afternoon with his two Bodyguards. That means Arina is guarded by one or two people only. Carefully Leo combed the place. From his hiding place Leo could see two people who were asleep. It seems they have finished off a few bottles of drinks. Soon Leo and some of his friends hit the man on the nape of the neck until they finally drooped on the floor.

Two others dragged the man's body to hide in another part of the barn and tied his hands and feet. While Leo is still combing the place looking for Arina's whereabouts. Until he reached the corner of the room he saw Arina asleep on the cold floor without any reason.

Leo clucked in annoyance looking at Arina's face from close range. Realizing Arina was now deathly pale with many wounds on her face. I don't know what kind of man Jimy could beat a woman like this. Leo was about to hold Arina but the woman woke up and was surprised to see some men in front of her in all-black clothes.

"The.. Whoareyou? ". Tanya Arina was nervous. Found some people in all-black clothes with their faces covered leaving only their eyes.

" Look down, it's Leo. I'll get you out of here ". Whisper Leo while opening the cover of his face and then close it again after Arina convinced him.

" hey.. Is that really you?". Arina said in disbelief. Her crying broke. Arina hugged Leo tightly to the point that Leo could not breathe.

"Get rid of your hand, I can't breathe. You want to get us killed here? We gotta get out of here quick". Leo was upset.

" I'm sorry, I'm too happy ". Arina said sparkling.

" Can you walk? Or do I need to carry you? ". Ask Leo then.

" Can you hold me? I'm so limp. I haven't eaten ". Arina said.

" Alright ".

Akhire Leo carries Arina ala bridal style. Arina wrapped her tiny hand around Leo's neck. The man moved very deftly as if not distracted by Arina's weight. From such a close distance Arina could smell the scent of the man. A very calming aroma. The smell makes it comfortable. Arina then tightened her hands so as not to fall, until her face was right attached to the niche of the man's neck. Leos lose a little concentration.

Leo dropped Arina off after arriving at the car. And told him to get in and drive the car fast before Jimy came back. Leo seemed to be very focused on driving. Arina is back to sleep because of exhaustion. Leo who sees Arina's uncomfortable sleeping position then sidelined his car for a while. Lowering the back of her chair so that Arina slept a little comfortably. Then re-apply his car.

Leo carried the sleeping Arina in his car. He had to take her to his apartment. Because he was also confused to take Arina where. If brought to the house then Grace's aunt will be worried. If Marvin's apartment is the same as looking for trouble. So here they end up. Leo laid down Arina's body which was not disturbed at all.

"He's dead or something. Why sleep this soundly. While my body aches all ". Groused Leo. Leo covered Arina's body and then he sat on the sofa while stretching his hands and feet that felt sore. He thought it would be very dramatic to free Arina. But it turned out to be very easy. Maybe this time Jimy was so caught off guard that he let Arina only be guarded by two lazy people there.

Arina blinked her eyes adjusting her vision. After looking around her she was finally relieved as well. He could already conclude that this was Leo's apartment. The man who took her last night. This is reinforced by the photo of Leo spelled not far from his current place.

Arina came down the bed looking for Leo. The man fell asleep in the guest room. Arina slightly shook Leo's shoulder for the man to wake up.

"Leos.. Awake ". Arina said as she continued to shake Leo's body. Leo squirmed slightly then opened his eyes lazily.

" You're up? ". Ask Leo after his consciousness is full again. Then he sat his body.

" Already, can I take a bath? ". Ask Arina.

" Of course, take a shower I'll order you breakfast ". Said Leo. Arina nodded then rushed to take a shower. He was so happy to find water. She missed taking a shower and soaking these few days.

Thirty minutes passed. Leo had taken a bath in the other bathroom. Now he was preparing the breakfast he had ordered.

"What's he doing? Is he asleep? ". Gerutu Leo then set foot into the bathroom in his room.

" Are you back to sleep? Hurry on! You want your breakfast cold? ". Shouted Leo while knocking on the bathroom door loudly.

" Yes wait ". Shouted Arina from inside there.

" Female, always long ". Then the grunt went back to the kitchen. Before long Arina came in a maroon red bathrobe. With her hair wet like that Arina looks sweet. Leo cleared his throat to remove the awkwardness.

" I'm sorry, I'm forced to wear this, you know my shirt is dirty and there's some torn parts ". Arina said softly afraid that Leo was angry.

"What's wrong. I just ordered you a dress. Thirty minutes to come". Said Leo casually.

" Do you know my dress size? What if it is too wide or too small? ". Arina was confused.

" Eat slowly, you'll choke ". Said Leo surprised to see how eating Arina who like people do not eat for days.

" I'm hungry, they don't feed me right ". Say it with a mouth full. Leo looked sadly at Arina. This girl is actually good. But why did he ruin Marvin's life.

Arina and Leo spent time in the balcony after they had breakfast. Arina sat in the seat on the corner of the balcony while Leo stood resting his back on the iron backrest. While occasionally sucking nicotine sticks.

Arina was sitting uncomfortable because she was still wearing a bathrobe. Repeatedly he fixed the cloth covering his upper body so as not to open. While his feet were busy flanking the bottom cloth. Leo who realized it immediately took the phone from his pants pocket.

" Why haven't you brought the clothes? Are you tired of working for me? ". Leo said calmly, then turned off his phone.

" Can I ask you something? ". Ask Arina suddenly.

" Please ". Leo's words are short.

" Where do you know you're being held captive? Why help me? Who told you to? There's no way Marvin's brother told you to. He has hated me so much since that incident ". Said Arina moody.

" But in reality Marvin told me ". Leo answered while throwing the nicotine smoke into the air.

" What? Butwhy? ". Arina said sadly. He couldn't believe it after everything he'd done turned out that Marvin still cared about him.

" I told him you were being held captive. And he looks worried. And told me to release you ".

" When did you know I was being held captive? ". Arina asked confusedly.

" I actually know you've been held captive since the first day you disappeared. I was there when the man brought you unconscious ". Leo's casual remark made Arina flabbergasted in disbelief.

" Why not help me, you let me suffer for days.

" Foolish fool. I could die at that moment. There were about six people that followed you that night ". Obviously Leo made Arina pop her lips.

" What exactly made Jimy hold you? ". Ask Leo curiously.

" that... ".

Arina answered the bell. Leo rushed over to the guests who had come. Soon after, Leo came back to hand the pepper bag to Arina.

" Wear it, maybe a little too big ". Said Leo. Arina received the pepper bag and then scrunched her forehead. Then look at Leo.

" why? ". Ask Leo astonished.

" Do you like maroon colors very much? ". Arina asked as she folded her lips holding back a smile.

" What do you mean? ". Leo asked a little annoyed because he could not catch Arina's question.

" look.. ". Arina showed me the pepper bag. Leo's maroon-colored clothes. Then Arina hinted with her index finger. Arina pointed at her bathrobe, then the T-shirt that Leo was wearing and some other things in the house. The two finally laughed. Leo shook his head slowly because he didn't realize it.

" I'm sorry, do you mind? ". Ask Leo.

" No, I like it, thank you ". Arina's sincere speech accompanied by her sweet smile that somehow suddenly shook Leo's heart.

Arina moved from that place. While Leo was still standing there holding his chest which suddenly felt strange.

" It seems I have to keep a little distance from him. Being close to him makes my heart so abnormal ".
