11. Farther

Two weeks passed from that incident. Marvin kept his word. He never came even though Lord Louis asked for it.

Marinka's condition improved. Today he can leave for the office after a long vacation. Her legs no longer hurt, but aunt Elly and Mr. Louis forbade her from wearing high heels.

While cleaning his desk. Suddenly the elevator sounded. Signaling their superior has arrived. Marinka took a deep breath. This was their first meeting after the fight.
