29. Lied

Early morning air barged in. The white curtain swayed in the wind. Marvin stood in the balcony of his room while consuming a few nicotine sticks. His mind is so fucked up tonight. Guilt haunted him.

Marinka who was fast asleep was slightly disturbed when the wind that night stroked her innocent back. He opened his eyes slowly. Looking for Marvin's whereabouts. From his bed he could see Marvin smoking in the balcony. Marinka picks up Marvin's shirt and puts it on for granted then follows Marvin to the balcony.

Then wrapping his hand around Marvin's waist made Marvin surprised. He turned to face Marinka.

"You up...? ". Marvin put out his diabak cigarette, while slipping Marinka's hair behind his ear. Marinka nodded then hugged her husband again. Makes Marvin feel guilty. Marvin then rubbed Marinka's back. His wife looks very sweet with her oversized shirt and her hair tied up. Looks messy from the results of the struggle some time ago.

Marinka glanced at the ashtray on the balcony. There were more than five cigarettes in there.

"Aren't you sleeping Marvin? ". Marinka asked as she raised her head in front of Marvin. Marvin just shook his head slowly.

" Do you have a problem? ". Marinka asked worriedly.

" Nothing.. ". Marvin answered while looking at Marinka. Marinka stares at Marvin's cornea in turn looking for the truth.

" You lied to Marvin. You must be thinking of something important. To the extent that you can't sleep well ". Marinka. Marvin took off his arms and held Marinka's hands together.

" Marinka's... I want to apologize".She said a little nervously.

"For what..? ".Marinka began to suffer from anxiety. Marvin took a deep breath.

" I'm sorry for tonight. I should have been able to control myself. I'm sorry ". Marvin said. Marinka took off Marvin's grip. Started to digest what Marvin was saying.

" You're sorry? ". Marinka choked her eyes began to heat up. Marvin was confused as to what to say. Is he really sorry?

"Oh my God, what have I done. Why am I apologizing ". Marvin grabbed his own hair to condemn his stupidity.

While in the room next to Marinka sat on the floor leaning against the wall. Sitting curled up hugging his own knees.

She used to be labeled as a holy woman. Until some of the men he was in contact with always decided it only because Marinka refused to connect further. But now when Marinka surrenders herself to her own husband, the man apologizes and regrets.

"Why being your wife is this painful. Can't I enjoy a little happiness. Just a little ". Marinka closed her mouth. It hurt so much to find Marvin regretting touching him.

Marinka then walked to the bathroom. His body fell on that cold morning. Trying to forget what happened. But how could, while the traces that Marvin left so clear and real in his body. After feeling enough Marinka wearing a bathrobe came out without drying her hair.

But how surprised he was to find Marvin sitting in the bed of the room. Marvin lifted his face as he saw Marinka coming out of the bathroom. Marvin approached to hug Marinka but she held her husband's body slowly.

"Marinka I don't mean____".

"I know, I get it. I may be a woman far from your expectations. I don't want to talk about it anymore. So get out of here". Cold Marinka.

"You don't know what I mean ". Marvin tries to reach for Marinka's body, but the woman insists on avoiding him.

" It's Marvin, don't make me any more stupid. Enough people think I'm stupid. But not you. You're the one I trust but you hurt my feelings ".

" all right.. I'm guilty, I'm sorry. Please don't avoid me ". Marvin hugged Marinka. Marinka's body shook with the cry. His shoulders are moving up and down.

" Why being your wife is so hard. Why from the beginning of marriage to you I was always in trouble ". Marinka is still sobbing in Marvin's arms.

" From now on, it will not. I'm still there for you".Marvin tries to calm Marinka down. I kissed the top of the woman's head. Marvin really cursed his stupidity.

A few hours to morning. Marinka sleeps in Marvin's arms. Still with his bathrobe. But the man who hugged her could not close his eyes at all. Until morning came Marvin could not close his eyes.

Marinka was tidy this morning, considering Marvin said he would take her for a walk. Marinka has imagined going to the playground and will enjoy her favorite cotton candy. Marinka sits sweetly on the couch waiting for Marvin.

Marvin was out of the room. But Marinka's smile faded a little when she saw Marvin wearing a neat shirt.

"Marinka, I have a little business with Leo. I won't be long ". Marvin said in a hurry he peeked at the top of Marinka's head and left. To the point that Marinka was at a loss as to what to say. Marinka said Marvin had disappeared behind the door.

Marinka was a little disappointed, Marvin forgot his words. He was confused what he would do. Finally he went on his own walks to the City Park.

Marvin drove his car a little quickly to the hospital. Some time ago Arina called me when she was sick. And must be rushed to the hospital.

Marvin ran as hard as he could down the hospital hallway. Heading to the place where Arina was treated. Marvin entered the room worriedly.

" What's going on? You why? Why did it get like this? ". Marvin asked worried.

" I'm just tired, brother. You remember I just arrived and headed straight for Aunt Grace's place".

"Where is Mr Andrew? ".

"Next time think of yourself. Don't let you get tired like this". Arina smiled seeing Marvin so worried about her.

"Alright brother.. I understand, thank you for worrying about me ".

" What are you talking about, don't thank me like this. Have you eaten yet? ".

" I'm waiting for you, I miss your mouth ". Said Arina spoiled.

" all right.. I'll bribe you, you can't be sick ". Marvin with tlaten feeding Arina. He completely forgot about Marinka.

Marinka goes to City Park, spending her Sunday there with the little kids running around.

If the weekend Park is always crowded visited by people who want to spend their time with their family and friends.

While observing the little boy who was running around his eyes caught a familiar figure. Then try calling him to convince his sight. Apparently he also saw Marinka and approached her.

"hay Marinka, what are you doing here. Where's Marvin ". Marinka's smile expands.

"He's on Leo's business, I don't want to bother him, it looks like his business is very important. Even on the weekend he worked. I thought you were with him". Marinka said she was trying to find out.

"He's been troubling me every day. If even the weekend still troubles me, then I will ask for my bonus every month ".

", Ah yes you're right Leo ". Said Marinka laughing blandly.

" You want to take a walk?we meet here. How about we go to the amusement park? ". Invite Leo to make Marinka's face sparkle.

" You're so nice, I'd love to go there, I'd really like to eat cotton candy". Marinka said happily. Instantly he forgot where Marvin was going. He doesn't want to think badly.

"You're like a child. Don't forget to brush your teeth later". Leo's words make them laugh together.

Finally Marinka and Leo went to the playground. Go around enjoying roadside culinary and do not forget the cotton candy that Marinka really wants to eat.

Marinka sits on a sofa in the corner of the glass wall. From there he could see the darkening night sky. Marvin didn't even preach it all day.

Marinka's mind was glaring. Why Marvin lied, does this have anything to do with what he said yesterday. Marinka is really claustrophobic. At the Amusement Park he bought a lot of cotton candy. And start to devour it little by little.

Not long after Marvin came home, Marinka did not welcome him. He let Marvin get to him.

"Marinka, what are you doing? Why so many cotton candy? ". Marvin asked puzzledly to see there were more than five packs of cotton candy strewn across the table.

" I just want to enjoy it ". Answer Marinka coldly, making Marvin's forehead wrinkled.

" Where did you get it?". Marvin sits his body in front of Marinka.

" In the Playground ". Brief Marinka speech. Made Marvin close his eyes. He missed something.

" Sorry.. I should take you for a walk today. I have some sudden business". Marvin's voice softened realizing his mistake.

"I know you're very busy, which is why I don't want to bother you ".Marinka said without seeing Marvin and continued to eat his cotton candy until it ran out.

" Next time you don't go alone, at least bring the driver".Marinka has lost her patience. Eventually he left the place. He was afraid for too long that made his emotions explode. It felt like he wanted to get angry, yell, and hit this man in front of him.

" Marinka I'm talking to you ". Marvin said softly as he reached for Marinka's hand which left him. Marinka looked up at Marvin.

" But I'm not alone, I'm with Leo".

Deg......

"You.. with Leo? ". Tanya Marvin stammered.

" Yes... He also drove me home. So don't worry ". Marinka slams into Marvin's hand and then passes from there.

" Marinka I can explain ". Marvin rushed after Marinka.

" Enough Marvin...! I don't need your explanation. Who am I, huh? I'm thankful for your kindness all along. I have no right to sue you for anything. I have no right". Her voice choked. The tears that were being held from earlier finally spilled as well.

" Marinka I'm sorry". Marvin was about to reach Marinka's hand but she hid it behind her body.

"I'm tired, I want to rest ". Marinka then entered the room next to Marvin's room. Marvin chases after her but Marinka locks her room from the inside.
