CHAPTER 34

The commissioner gave permission for the transfer of his working hours, as this was the first time Tora had asked her boss for anything. During pregnancy, Tora becomes a very alert husband. Sherly doesn't crave any food, but she just wants Tora to be with her all the time. Sherly will go on a hunger strike if Tora doesn't comply, sometimes the behavior overwhelms Tora.

Sherly's gestational age is 7 months but her stomach is very large considering there are 2 babies in her stomach. According to the USG results, both sexes are male. The news made Tora's father very happy. Her wait for having a granddaughter from Tora finally materialized. And his grandson is really a boy and there are 2 at once.

Tora's father hopes that his grandchildren can continue the company he built for decades, Tora refuses to inherit it but Tora does promise to give him a grandson who will continue his grandfather's company.

Tora did that because she did not want her son to become a state apparatus like her. He did not want his son to face criminals and dangers like the one he had to face every day with weapons.

Right now Tora was stroking elus in his wife's huge belly. "I'm sorry to make you bother dear." said Tora.

Sherly chuckles. "You're a strange man, do you want to be pregnant?" goda Sherly's.

Tora nodded quickly. "Imagine it I don't want to baby, where there's a pregnant man. And look at your belly is so big. I'm gonna be hard to walk. I'm sorry I can't help you." she replied.

Sherly pinched her cheek. "This is indeed the destiny of a pregnant woman, why do you feel so guilty dear. I'm happy to be pregnant with our child." she said.

"You're really very troubled when you walk. I've often seen you hold your waist because you're tired. It makes me very sad" Tora said again.

"I'm tired of our son being active inside, you're trying to listen and feel" Sherly told Tora to get close to her stomach.

Tora brought her ears closer and held Sherly's stomach, Tora was shocked as her son responded. Many times the kick was felt by Tora. Then he looked at Sherly and felt no tears. It's the first time Sherly's seen Tora cry.

Sherly wiped away Tora's tears. "What do you feel?" ask Sherly.

"You great woman and my wife, you conceive my son without complaining. I love you so much Sher." said Tora.

"Srstttt... This is the first time I've seen you cry, baby. Don't do that, I'm so proud to have a husband like you. Our son is the most precious gift for our love. I love you too, Inspector." replied Sherly.

Tora hugged Sherly back. "Another week is the Baby Shower event (7 months), I've arranged everything. So I don't want you to be exhausted, honey. We're going to church before the party. So during the preparations, I will not allow you to participate. You stay home." Tora ordered.

Sherly nodded, there was no point in arguing for Tora to allow her to come along with the preparations. If he does that, Tora will go berserk and it will make Sherly dizzy with her scolding.

A week later, Tora and Sherly go to church to ask for a prayer for the good of their future baby. After that they returned home. Baby showers are performed in their large homes. The people closest to Tora and Sherly also present gifts and prayers of safety to the baby and his mother.

Tora invited many friends and best friends while Sherly only invited Mega.

"Happy dear friend, I'm happy to hear you're pregnant with twins and I hope you'll be healthy later. I really want to carry both." said Mega.

"Thank you Meg you wanted to attend. How's your new friend?" ask Sherly.

Mega's face flushed. "I'm so grateful your husband introduced me to his men. After I broke off my engagement, now I'm happier with Amdan. We decided to get married next month." said Mega.

"What are you talking about, without asking me?" tora asked as she hugged her wife.

Sherly whispers to Tora. Tora widened her eyes. "Aren't you guys in touch for 5 months?" ask Tora.

"I'm getting old, and my God Tora your men are dying to marry me from the first month we met" Mega said, chuckling.

Tora laughed. "He told me he was in love at first sight with you" she said.

"Right, I'll take him right away to KUA" Mega replied.

They finally laughed together. That happiness comes back when they know their best friend is getting married.

The Baby Shower event was finally over as well, so many gifts that Sherly received. Almost filled his living room.

"Oh my God, I don't have to buy any equipment for our son, baby, look at the guests you invited, they all brought baby gifts" Sherly said.

Tora chuckles. "They were very enthusiastic when they heard Mr. Inspector's wife was pregnant. I'm so happy baby, they're paying attention to you." replied Tora.

"Isn't this too much, dear?" ask Sherly.

Tora shrugged her shoulders. "This sustenance from God for our dear children, you rest let me take care of it with Sari's mother" said Tora. (Mother Sari is the new servant of their house ).

"My waist will break, I'll go to the room now" Sherly said.

Tora picked him up and took him to the room.

"Am I not heavy?" ask Sherly.

"You're not heavy, baby, but our son is heavy." replied Tora, chuckling. "I'll always treat you like this baby, I'm still strong even though you'll gain another 10kg" he continued, teasing his wife.

"Thank you, Tora. You always keep my heart at ease." said Sherly.

Tora kissed her forehead. "Drink milk first and then go to sleep. You must be so tired, I don't want you to harm our children." she said.

Sherly nodded, drinking the milk that was available on her room table. He was very tired and eventually fell asleep. Tora covered him and kissed his wife's forehead.
