CHAPTER 13

Ario and Darko stop by Tora's house. They entered without knocking because they knew Tora had not locked the door. They were shocked when they saw Tora was in a mess. The room was filled with beer cans, this was the first time his two best friends had seen Tora messed up like this.

Ario. "Did our inspector this time lose to a woman?" tanyakanya.

"Eitherway. But Mr. Tora really messed up." replied Darko.

They help each other clean the room, it's 5 in the morning. When the upper room door opened, Sherly came out of her room and went downstairs.

Sherly is shocked when she sees both of Tora's colleagues. "Oh my God, you surprised me. What are you guys doing in the morning blind like this?" tanyakanya.

"Where are you going Miss Sherly, this morning?" ask Ario.

"Of course I'll go back home. After I thought about it, I didn't want to trouble Tora, nor did we just get to know her. There's no way we can stay together" Sherly replied.

"You better wait until Tora wakes up, she seems drunk." said Ario.

Sherly shakes. "Please thank him. I'm going home now. Don't worry too much about me, I'm used to living alone. I'm gonna change my door password, so no one else can get in there without my permission" Sherly replied as she exited Tora's house.

Ario and Darko both sighed. "We just have to wait, this tiger will wake up with a tantrum" said Ario.

"I'll take a shower first, after that I'll prepare breakfast" Darko said. Ario just nodded.

The man was so messy, what did he do? is not he still taking antibiotics, why even consume alcohol. You stupid man, thought Sherly when he got to his house.

Sherly goes into her bathroom, she cleans her body. When he touched his lips. He recalled the moment Tora kissed him, his body was so hot to remember that. But he tried to forget about it because maybe it was the fault of both of them. Sherly's ready to go to work. He does not want to miss work today again.

Sherly got in her car. He would buy breakfast near his office. A few hours later, Mega was very surprised by his arrival.

"You're crazy Sher, you're not well. And as I recall today you're still a permit, right?" mega.

"I'm bored at home, I'd better get to work" Sherly replied.

Mega approached his face and saw the former giggle of Ferdinan. Mega shudder in horror. "Fuck man, if you're up to why, I'll kill him" said Mega annoyed.

Sherly chuckles. "I'm afraid of what you say." she replied.

"You're very lucky to have a neighbor who's a cop, if you don't know" Mega said.

"You're right Meg, I'm so lucky. That night I was really scared, I don't know why after breaking up Ferdinan turned into a bad man." Sherly said sadly.

"God loves you so much Sher, God separated you two before you married him" Mega said.

Sherly nodded. "I was surprised to find out the truth that he was a thug. Even leaders. Oh my God, why am I so stupid." he said in disbelief.

Mega stroked Sherly's shoulder. "There will be wisdom behind all of Sher's problems, I was also very surprised when I saw the news this morning. That sadistic thug leader mesuji got caught and when I saw his face it was Ferdinan. I actually intended to go to your house after work, but it turns out you're in." said Mega.

Sherly nodded. "I'm also the same Meg, very surprised by the news. I was too innocent when Ferdinan used me." he replied.

"Where did you sleep last night? I called your home number no one answered, your phone is off, are you asleep?" ask Mega.

"I slept in the Inspector's house, he wanted me under his protection. A very attentive man. My phone is dead and left at home. But this morning I went back to my own house." Sherly explained.

"Why did you come back? The cop is right, Ferdinan's gang is still on the loose. The man was caught because of you, surely his men were looking for you" said Mega.

"You scared me Meg, but she's a single guy. I can't stay with him." Sherly replied.

"That's different Meg, Ferdinan and I have dating status. While I'm with Tora, I don't have any relationship" Sherly said.

"Because he's a single man, make him your partner." teased Mega.

"Omong is empty, he has a woman he adored for 10 years. I can't possibly get into their lives." Sherly said.

"really? That woman is stupid. An Inspector chased him all that time, but he didn't get it" Mega said.

"The woman is not stupid, but Mr. Tora is stupid" Sherly replied.

"You mean?" ask Mega.

Sherly just laughed. "I want to work, not gossip" Sherly replied.

"Damn you make me curious." said Mega pouting.

Sherly simply responded with a chuckle.

Tora wakes up and has an incredible headache. "Finally you wake up too sir, drink your soup" Ario said.

"Damn it, what time is it?" ask Tora.

"If I'm not mistaken it's 10 in the morning" replied Ario.

Tora gasped and woke up suddenly making her head throb even more. "Fuck, why am I doing this?" ask yourself.

Ario and Darko were silent. They just look at each other.

"Where's Sherly?" ask Tora.

"He's back at his house." replied Ario.

"What's? You let it." snapped Tora.

"Oh my God, you think we have the right to prevent it. She's a stubborn woman to Tora." replied Ario.

Tora woke up holding her head. He's headed for the exit. "Where are you going, Inspector?" yell Ario.

Tora doesn't care about it anymore. He's headed straight for Sherly's house. Her anger culminates after finding out Sherly is back at her house.

Ario and Darko only see him staggering toward Sherly's house. "Based on a crazy man, until he cries blood won't be able to meet Sherly. The woman went to work." said Ario.

"Why didn't you say that?" ask Darko.

"Don't you see, I just said Sherly's back just so her anger's been mounting. Leave it alone." replied Ario while chuckling.

The two only looked at Tora who staggered to Sherly's house. The man they knew was very firm and authoritative, now turning into a weak man who was intimidated by a woman.
