CHAPTER 10

Tora Sin gets Sherly Lee out of her car, but this is Tora's house not her own. "Get in first, then if you want to ask." Tora ordered before Sherly asked.

Ario helped them bring some items purchased on the way home. Groceries and fruits are purchased by Tora at the nearest mini market. Ario put it in the refrigerator. "I'm not good at cooking, do I have to call Darko here." asked Ario.

"No need for Ario, you'll be on duty tonight with Darko. If you're here what about your work?" ask Tora.

"Serving our commanders includes the duties of Mr. Tora." replied Ario.

"I can do it, I'm fine." Sherly said.

"No. You need to rest, I will." replied Tora.

"But your hand." asked Sherly.

"No words but Sher, get some rest. Your room is on the second floor, on the right." Tora ordered.

"My house is up ahead, why should I stay here brother?" ask Sherly.

"Don't argue with me Sher, you just follow my orders." Tora said.

Ario nodded. "Don't deny it, get some rest" Ario said.

Sherly complies and searches her room on the second floor. Sherly goes back to thinking, why is her neighbor so possessive of her. If he wasn't a cop, Sherly would've run away. But this time it was different, there was fear and Tora was able to control it.

Sherly found her room. The room was very neat. He threw his body into that big bed. He soon fell asleep due to the influence of the drugs he was taking.

"Are you sure you're gonna have the woman stay here?" ask Ario.

Tora nodded. "This is the only way he can't get hurt again Ario. I was surprised when you said Ferdinan was the leader of Mesuji's thugs. I don't want Ferdinan's men to commit crimes against Sherly because he got caught. We will face many problems in the future. I wonder why that woman is so innocent that she doesn't know who her lover is. Hem I mean his ex-girlfriend now." Tora said. "I also intend to pay people to look after Sherly, I can't be with him for 24 hours" Tora said.

Ferdinan is a gang of sadistic thugs in mesuji. Ario said it while helping Tora in the bathroom earlier. Since then, Tora has had to be overprotective of her women. Ario continued to help Tora prepare dinner, before he left for duty. Tora took a week off work to recover her hands. After everything is ready, Ario even paid off duty.

"You sure you don't want to eat with us?" ask Tora.

Ario. "I'll just eat at the headquarters sir, have fun with Sherly, don't reveal it too long, you'll regret it." teased Ario.

"You're very chatty when it comes to my character. But thank you for today Ario." said Tora.

"Ready man, it's my job to help the Inspector and my best friend" Ario said, chuckling and leaving Tora's house.

"I thought something happened to you pretty." murmured Tora.

Tora lets Sherly fall asleep for a few more minutes before Tora wakes Sherly up. Sherly awakens when she feels a slow shock in her body. He gasped when he saw a man in his room.

"Hey realize it's Tora." said Tora.

Sherly let out her breath. "Oh my God, I was shocked and just remembered that I was in your house, sister" Sherly replied.

"It's time for dinner. Come on down, you need to eat before you take your medicine." take Tora.

Sherly nodded and followed Tora to the dining table. "This is all your cooking?" ask Tora.

"Feel who else. Of course I made it. I've been used to it since I entered the police dormitory." said Tora.

"Your hand doesn't hurt, does it? Where your family is, sister, you never said it." asked Sherly.

"My hands are fine, I don't have to lift them so I can cook. I'll tell you about my family, now eat first." Tora ordered.

Sherly nodded and began to taste Tora's cooking. "I think your cooking is more delicious than mine." she said.

Tora shook her head. "Feel you the best, Sher." replied Tora. "If anyone says your cooking is bad, then I'll cut off their tongues" Tora said.

"That's so scary, brother, you can't do that" Sherly shuddered.

"At least I can slash their teeth so that they can no longer chew their food." Tora replied with a chuckle.

"You're really scary" Sherly said.

Tora chuckled again. "No Sher, I'm a good man. I will be mean to anyone who annoys my beloved." he said.

"Your favorite? Am I your favorite now?" ask Sherly.

"Of course, you're very kind and considerate of me. So now you are my favorite." replied Tora.

Sherly just shook her head in disbelief, Tora so easily said such a thing. Half an hour later they enjoyed their dinner, after which Tora took Sherly to the lounge and talked a lot.
