CHAPTER 26

Tora joined the other members. Both men put up a fight. He still does not know who and what they are here for.

"Don't let the two suspects die. We need a tip-off from him." Tora yelled at his team.

"You give up, this place we've surrounded." Tora shouted at the two.

The gunfire sounded back. The two started fighting back. The shot was directed at the whole team with the origin. Both are not good shooters. One of the suspects entered Tora's house through a window that had been broken, even they managed to open the iron trellis.

Damnit......

Tora called Sherly again. "Honey don't open the door even if someone knocks. One of the suspects made it inside." said Tora.

Sherly shook violently from fear. He could not answer Tora's words at all. Tora couldn't hold her phone for long. It shuts it back down. He immediately ordered the team to get closer. The resistance happened again.

Dooorr....Dooorr....Dooorr....

The gunshots were interlocking outside. Tora can't wait anymore. He knows exactly what Sherly is doing right now. Tora kept moving forward. He was looking for a suspect outside. He divided his team to the right and to the left. A few minutes later they finally managed to catch the suspect.

Tora immediately entered with the other members. He was looking for another suspect. It turned out that the man was trying to break down the door of the room where Sherly was hiding. The suspect knows exactly where Sherly is hiding. There seems to be a certain purpose that makes the suspect dare to do this in the morning.

"You've been surrounded, stop and surrender yourself." Shouted Tora.

The suspect fired a shot at the team again. But damn for the suspect, the bullet ran out. Tora and the others ran after the suspect who was trying to escape. The man was captured in the other room.

"Bring them to headquarters, I'll catch up." Tora ordered.

"Ready and do it." they answered.

Tora knocked on the room door. "Darling I'm Tora, open up you're safe" Tora said. But there's no answer at all.

Tora panicked as she tried to break down the door but the door was too strong. He just remembered if there was a spare key below. He ran for the key and went back upstairs to open the door.

"Sher.." cried Tora as the door opened. Tora searches for Sherly's whereabouts and finds her snuggling in the bathroom crying.

"Oh my God, baby." said Tora immediately embraced the body of her lover. "Stop not crying. You're safe now" said Tora calmly.

But Sherly can't answer anything. The woman was in shock. Tora picked him up and put him to bed. "I'll call Jack's doctor." Tora said.

Sherly shakes. "I'm fine, sister." replied Sherly sobbing.

Tora hugged him back. "I'm sorry baby, you're in danger again. I'll find another safer house. It's not safe for us here." he said.

"But my house?" ask Sherly.

"We rent it to someone else until it's time we have a child who will live there" replied Tora.

"That's a stupid question, of course I want it." Tora replied as she hugged Sherly back. "Prepare ready, you'll take me to headquarters now. I'm not gonna let you work anymore. You must resign today." Tora ordered.

"But sister." replied Sherly.

"No words but darling. You'll be the wife of an inspector. Where crime will be. You must be under my protection. If you can't tell your boss. Then I'll do it." said Tora firmly.

Sherly relented. He could not argue with Tora anymore.

"I have to go down, there are still police who are in TKP. You get ready, you have to come with me." Tora's orders are irrefutable.

Sherly nodded. His body was still limp when he heard the suspect trying to break down the door of his room earlier. Tora gives him a drink before he leaves Sherly. "You calm yourself down, baby, and then you meet me downstairs." said Tora, kissing Sherly on the forehead.

Sherly nodded back. Tora was right, she should start taking refuge in the man. His decision to marry a police officer of rank was a very scary thing for him. There are so many enemies of Tora who want to hurt him. Sherly changes her clothes and begins to fix her messy makeup as she cries. Then he went down to meet Tora.

There was still a lot of glass on the floor. Some police officers are still carrying out TKP. Tora sees the confused Sherly and approaches him.

"You don't be afraid, there are no suspects here" Tora said, clasping her hand. Tora introduced his future wife to several police officers. Everyone greeted him politely and smiled.

Sherly follows Tora to her car. "We're leaving them?" ask Sherly.

"I'm not an investigative officer dear, of course we leave it to them" replied Tora. "And there are some members who will guard the house in the meantime." continued Tora.

Tora started driving her car towards the base. "There will be more and more members of the police including female police. You act more boldly. Show me that you're my future wife." Tora said.

"Are you ashamed, if I become a weak woman?" ask Sherly.

Tora shook her head. "That's not what I mean, baby, but I don't want you to get treated poorly. I'll kill them all if you get offended and cry." Tora threatened.

"Can you not say that scary thing, brother. You're like a killer rather than an inspector" Sherly said.

Tora was chuckling. "I'm sorry baby, that's my love for you. I only have a gun. I always say stupid things. And I did it because I love you too much." replied Tora.

Sherly just kept quiet and stared out the window. Tora clasped her hands until she reached the base.
