CHAPTER 25

Team Jaguar found land suspected of being a cockfighting gambling event. They even saw dozens of vehicles parked on an empty land in the middle of the coconut plantation. Team Jaguar combed the location with heart. This time Tora deployed more members to catch the gamblers.

Tora Sin instructed everyone to prepare for attack. Within minutes Tora opened fire into the air.

Dooorr....

"No one moves." cried Tora.

But they were getting more and more foggy, the ragged lackeys running around. The entire members detained several people who were about to flee the location. Because there are too many actors, the Jaguar team is also overwhelmed to handle them. There are some people who have run away. And the captured ones were gathered into one in the cockfighting arena.

All of them were caught there were about 30 people, Tora along with other members secured dozens of vehicles. This time their mission was a success.

As they were about to bring one by one the suspects, a loud gunshot rang out accompanied by the sound of Darko's scream. Things turned chaotic again, they were off guard. There's another suspect who has a firearm attacking the Jaguar team. Ario helped the injured Darko in his stomach. While Tora and some other members try to catch the perpetrator.

The shootout took place in the darkness of the garden. Tora's eyes are very observant to see the whereabouts of the suspect. Tora pointed her gun and opened fire on the suspect. The suspect's screams are heard. Tora shoots the suspect in the hand, causing him to release his firearm. The other members secure the suspect.

Tora approaches the suspect, furious that Darko is in danger now. Tora hit the suspect several times in the face and kicked him. No one banned Tora.

"Take this fucking suspect to headquarters. If anything happens with Darko, then don't expect him to live." Tora orders his men.

"Ready man." answered them.

An ambulance takes Darko to the hospital, Darko loses a lot of blood. He is getting critical. The other members continued to secure dozens of suspects in patrol cars. Tora and Ario follow the ambulance. Both are very worried. Darko was immediately taken to the operating room, and told his family.

Sherly is so anxious when she hears from Tora that Darko is shot. He knows their jobs are dangerous, but Sherly can't stop Tora from working at all. That was his job. Having a police husband-to-be is her choice now. He must be ready for whatever will happen to him.

"I'm still in the hospital, baby, I'm gonna have my men drive you to work. Don't wander alone, it's very dangerous" Tora said.

"Yes" replied Sherly and turned off her phone.

Since yesterday they have not been able to meet. Their marriage was getting closer but they met less and less. Sherly sighed and waited for Tora's man to pick her up. Sherly peeked out the window and she was very surprised. He saw 2 suspicious people had entered the courtyard of Sherly's house.

Sherly's hand trembled in fear as she picked up her phone. He contacted Tora again but got no answer. Many times Sherly tried to stay unanswered by Tora. He contacted Ario and fortunately he answered.

"Where's Tora sir?" ask Sherly.

"He's calming Darko's wife and daughter, what's wrong, Miss Sherly?" ask Ario.

"I tried to reach him but his phone wasn't answered" Sherly said.

Ario codes Tora to see her phone. "He'll call you. I told him." he said.

Tora was shocked when she saw the missed call on her phone. He didn't know because his phone was in silent. Tora called Sherly immediately.

"I'm sorry, baby, I don't know if you're calling. What's up?" ask Tora.

"I'm so scared, brother, in my house there are 2 people who have passed the gate, I don't recognize them at all" Sherly replied.

"You relax. Don't come out until my men come. I'll call my closest people there to check on the people in your house. You heard me, right?" tora.

"Yes my brother." replied Sherly. Sherly suddenly gasped, her fear growing. The two men approached Tora's house. "Both 2 men are here" Sherly said in a trembling voice.

"Damn it... Lock the door, don't get out of the house. I'll be there soon." Tora turns off her phone and immediately says goodbye to Ario and the Darko family.

"What's wrong?" ask Ario.

"There are 2 suspicious people in my house. Sherly was terrified. Call the officer who is in the area Ario. I'll be there long." Tora ordered.

Ario nodded. "Be careful with the car." cried Ario.

Tora just waved her hand and immediately headed towards her house. He also calls the men who picked up Sherly. It turned out that his men had arrived and had indeed seen 2 suspicious people. Both carry firearms. So Tora's men don't dare to act on their own.

Tora also contacted the Jaguar team to help her get to her home. Tora keeps worrying about Sherly. He called her back.

"Don't turn off the phone. Get upstairs. Lock the room door. Whatever happens don't try to get out." Tora orders her lover.

"Alright." replied Sherly but she started sobbing.

"Don't be afraid, baby, don't cry. Just follow my orders. There are my men outside. He'll protect you. I'll be there soon." said Tora.

"Yes my brother." replied Sherly. He follows Tora's orders to get into the room and lock her up. Tora kept calming him down on the phone. Sherly heard several gunshots outside and the sound of broken windows Tora's house. Sherly screams but Tora convinces some members to protect her.

Sherly tried to calm down. He curled up on his bed while sobbing.

"I've arrived, baby, but things are out of whack. You calm down there. Don't try to peek out." Tora ordered while turning off her phone.

Tora saw the very chaotic situation in his house now, he did not know who the 2 people were and was looking for who. She was so worried about Sherly that her lover was in danger again. This problem continues when they are soon to get married.
