CHAPTER 19

"My law sir, I'm wrong" Ario said on his knees.

"You're crazy, what are you doing. Wake up." snapped Tora. "I don't blame you Ario, I should have hired someone else. Not to interfere with your duties. How many people were caught." asked Tora.

"Everyone and all 5 people" replied Ario.

"This is already at home not too formal" said Tora.

"I don't dare and, it's still the hour of duty." replied Ario.

Tora kicked Ario's leg hard. Ario grimaced but steadied back. "That's what I've given you, let go of your duty here." he ordered.

Ario's body instantly weakened. "I'm sorry Tora, after missing out on base. I bought something in the mini market. That's why I was late to pick up Sherly." she turned out to be a best friend.

"I told you it wasn't your fault. The most important thing is now that Sherly's safe and the kidnapper's been caught. Tomorrow I'm going to headquarters, tonight I can't leave Sherly." Tora said.

Ario and Darko nodded and paid their respects back to the base. Jack stays behind but is arrested by Tora. "Let's wait until Sherly wakes up, I'm afraid she's hysterical again" Tora said.

Jack nodded. "Alright, but I haven't eaten" she said with a laugh.

"Oh my God, I'm sorry. I'll order some food." Tora said.

Jack nodded. "Thank you, Tora" he replied.

"I have to thank you Jack" replied Tora and he contacted one of the restaurants that could deliver.

An hour later, Sherly wakes up. He looked at the room. He realized that this was Tora's room. He tried to remember what happened to him. His body shivered in fear. She remembered the man's slap and she remembered the moment she wanted to be raped.

The door to her room opened, Sherly getting scared. He snuggled up at the end of the bed.

"Oh my God, dear, you're awake" Tora said as she approached Sherly. Tora hugged him. Sherly's body shakes in Tora's arms. "Calm down, baby, it's me. Jack.." cried Tora.

Jack came in haste. He checked on Sherly. "It's okay, Tora, you can calm her down" Jack said, leaving the room.

"I'm going straight back to the hospital, in an hour you're taking the medicine" Jack shouted outside.

"Thank you Jack, be careful" replied Tora.

Tora still hugs Sherly. He kept stroking his back to keep Sherly calm.

"You're safe, the kidnappers have been arrested. But apparently there was no connection with Ferdinan. Your ex didn't tell his men to hurt you at all. It was their initiative because they were interested in you. So from now on you can't go out alone. Youunderstand?" tora.

Sherly nodded, her body already starting to calm down. Tora kissed her forehead. "We eat first, take medicine and then rest. Tonight you sleep here." Tora ordered.

Sherly shakes. "I'll just go back to my room" he replied.

"No, stay here. I'm not gonna eat you Sher." Tora asked. "Don't argue, if you force me to go to your room." threatened Tora.

Sherly's not arguing right now, she's just nodding. Tora took the porridge for her that was ordered earlier.

Sherly nodded back. "I'm not sick, I don't want to eat that" Sherly said.

Tora squinted her eyes. "What do you want to eat?" tanyakanya.

"Nations. I'm hungry." Sherly replied.

Tora chuckles. "All right, I ordered Jack a meal. There's plenty in the kitchen." Tora started to step up.

"You're a patient now. Shut up there, don't keep arguing with me." Tora ordered.

"This time I argue." Sherly gets off her bed and approaches Tora.

"Based on a stubborn woman." said Tora.

"It's so late, I'm afraid to be alone" Sherly said.

Then Tora took Sherly. "No, put me down." cried Sherly as he thrashed.

Tora didn't budge, she continued to take Sherly downstairs to the dining table.

"Tomorrow I began to work, there was so much to take care of" Tora said after they finished their dinner.

"Is my brother's hand okay?" ask Sherly.

"I will not be spoiled with this wound dear, this is not how much. I've even been shot in the chest. But God still gave me a long life." said Tora.

"When are you going to stop doing such dangerous things?" ask Sherly again.

"Of course when I retire Sher" replied Tora.

"Do you not want to live long with your wife and children?" said Sherly.

"Of course, honey, but duty is duty. As state apparatus. We will fight to the point of blood loss." said Tora.

"Sister, I'm just worried" Sherly replied.

Tora smile. "It's time to go to bed" he said.

Sherly shakes. "I took my sister's appointment to tell me about the man who helped my family. Please tell me what you know, brother." he said.

Tora shook her head. "Not now beautiful, you need rest." Tora approached Sherly and held her back.

Sherly gasps. "I can walk by myself." he tweeted.

Tora didn't listen to him anymore. He continues to take Sherly to his room and put her to bed. Tora kissed her forehead. "Good sleep dear." said Tora.

Sherly is so upset, Tora still doesn't say who helped her and her family. But Tora was also right, she was very tired now. If you remember the incident earlier, it will make Sherly goosebumps. He was really afraid if Tora was late to save him. Then he won't want to see Tora again if he's tainted by another man.
