I'm Sure He's My Match

I'm Sure He's My Match
Me and Family

I'm the youngest in my family, brown brown skin, round face and nose a little pointed. Body with a weight of 53 kilo grams and a height of 155 centimeters.

I am a very lucky person to be born to a pair of people who have such warm love. My brother is three women and one man. People say the third child will be better looking for men and more beautiful for women, statements or myths that are true for my family, the third child in our family is a boy. So, it is true that my third brother is more handsome, because in reality he is only the only boy.

Their affection I can always feel especially the affection of my mother. He is my inspiration and always there for me.

Our family is like no other, living in luxury. I'm just the son of a great man a sheep farmer. I feel proud, happy, and certainly valuable among them. Feeling the bitter things of life from an early age is something I will never forget.

I'm a child who often gets help from the government, High School is free from SPP. Living in a rural area is hard to find jobs.

My brothers can only go to Elementary School (SD), because of our family's insufficient financial condition.

I believe that money is not the main source of not being able to go to high school, but high spirits, determination and strong intentions are the most important.

The sad thing I felt while still sitting in Primary School (SD) is, when I want to change school uniforms. I did not dare to speak directly to the father or to the mother because when the circumstances of the father's work were very unsupportive, I asked him to sister Dura, brother.

"Sir, Ivi wants to change uniforms!"

"Change uniforms?" My brother was confused because he had no money.

"Yes, Brother. Ivi's uniform is ugly, her clothes are yellowish and her skirt has been torn."

"I'm not buying it when the money is there."

"Yeee. Yes, Brother." Happy excitement.

"Ready, De." Confused about how to keep that promise.

***********

A few months later my brother kept his promise, he bought me a new uniform.

"De, this is the uniform you want." Giving while smiling because you are proud to buy it.

"Ade wear his uniform yes and do not forget to learn must be diligent, must be a smart child."

"Ready, Brother Dura, do it." Happy excitement.

To change my new uniform I had to wait months, even in high school, to buy an ash skirt, I had to find the money myself. At that time I took part in one of the weddings, one of my friends was a player from the nasyid group, he said, and she offered me to be her female vocalist because it just happened to be a vocalist who was usually in a hitch. Didn't think long I immediately took the offer, because it felt pretty money could be bought a uniform ash skirt, even though I was a little insecure with my voice mediocre.

SD, Junior High School, I sometimes like to envy those whose pocket money can buy whatever he wants. While me? my money is just enough to buy the bakwan Si mother stall, mineral water and fare home. Even money sometimes mama get from loans to neighbors for the sake of I can go to school. I know you're ashamed to do it all, luckily there are still people who trust you.

"Ma, Ivi's going to school, where's the money." I said, wearing shoes.

"Yes, just a minute Vi. Wait up!"

Soon after, my mom came back. "This is the money, Vi."

"Assalamu'alaikum." While kissing mom's hand. It's my habit to go anywhere and kiss mom's hand. Mama always answered my greetings with the words "Wa'alaikumussalam, may be a successful child, happy all the family."

"Aamiin.." In my heart say.

There are many differences in me and my brothers, especially with my 4th brother, our age is only 5 years different. His name is Riri, Riri's character is very different from me, although our faces are almost similar even people sometimes like to call wrong, Ivi they call Riri, while Riri's brother they call Ivi. Riri's sister is very bodo, she is still open veil despite being married, she is a person who I think is very spoiled by mama. But before marriage. After Riri got married, I was the most spoiled mama, hehe.

People say I'm more religious than anyone else. I think that's true.

Since I was five years old I started to be left in one of the cottages near my house. After school, go to school at the cottage. Because the distance of the cottage and the house is not far, my mother asked me not to settle to sleep in the cottage but to go to the cottage to study only.

Being different from the majority is very difficult, very difficult. Having a different opinion or view of one thing is very difficult to express even when it has been expressed will cause a lot of consideration. That's how I feel around my family. Being the youngest child, the last child, makes me always think again when I want to give advice to my brothers.

My brothers' house is close to my mother's house, except for Riri's sister, my fourth sister. She went with her husband to Bandung. Since I and Riri different house I felt that something was missing from my life, because Kak Riri is the closest brother to me, maybe because of our age distance is not much different, because, so if the vent feels more connected. My other brothers live next door with their mother, Misya and Daughter not only their mother and father but also their neighbor, hehe... Yes, that's how the neighbors of the mother are some of her children. Father gave the inheritance from my grandmother for his children to make a home. Although not broad, but it feels enough for my brothers.

Missya, my oldest brother, she had gone to make money as a labor of women in Saudi Arabia, I think it was a struggle as well. Struggles like success and beauty, they are relative. It means that his judgment comes from the opinion of someone who will cause a difference. According to some people there may be a saying that he has become a successful person but it could be according to some people also he has not reached the point of success, just as beautiful according to some people she looks beautiful but there are also those who say that she is ordinary. As well as the struggle, the assessment will look different from various points of view.
