Chapter 53's

The next day, at the location where Renata and Retno were detained. There was a dispute between one prisoner and another. It was between Retno and the other prisoners.

The prisoner ordered Retno to massage his legs. Retno refused because she opened the maid. Even for a lifetime Retno never massaged anyone. 

"So you're fighting me, huh?" said it.

Even the woman pulled the rough hair of Retno, making Renata who saw her mother treated like that scream.

"Aarrrrk!! Let go" cried Renata, trying to break up another prisoner who was fighting with his mother.

A woman who looks like a man. Large and tall, who was the longest prisoner there. Hearing Retno and Renata being held for attempted murder accompanied by seizing the property and husband of the victim, making women named Thelma bully Renata and Retno.

Renata was silent when Therma bullied him. Unlike Retno who continues to fight Therma even challenges the female thug.

"You know why I'm being held here? I was a murderer. All prisoners here are subject to my orders except you. If you fight me and don't obey my orders, do you want to die?" said Therma with a lyrical tone but full of emphasis.

"No. I don't want to submit to the man whose castle is beneath me!!" retno said, making Therma more emotional.

Retno was not afraid at all, even she did not want to obey Therma's orders. He always ruled and did not want to be ruled. Seeing Retno continue to fight him makes Therma ride black and then strangle him.

The other prisoners were just spectators and cheered who among Therma and Retno would win. Renata begged her mother to be quiet and not to fight Therma again. But Retno did not listen to her daughter's words. He wouldn't want to be trampled by poor thugs like Therma.

Renata screams as Therma banging Retno's head against the wall until Retno bleeds her head.

Reflek Renata yells to call security to stop Therma action.

"Women like you should die!!" said Therma, when she saw Retno had been lying on the floor with a head condition that released fresh blood.

Soon the police officer on guard came in, and exiled Therma into an individual cell. The other officers took Retno out and will be taken to a special detention clinic.

Renata wanted to join, but was banned by one of the security guards. All he did was cry about his mother's condition.

You could say it was all a bit of karma for his evil deeds all along. Renata kept screaming pleading with the officer, to allow him to accompany his mother.

The police officer came, but not to fulfill Renata's request but someone wanted to meet him. Curious who came, Renata immediately wiped his tears and went out to meet the person.

Devano turned his head, paying attention to the appearance of his ex-wife who was far from glamour. The corner of his lips lifted and inwardly laughed at Renata.

Renata put on a prisoner's shirt even her previously smooth face turned dull. The beauty that he had been arrogant all this time was unable to survive without money.

"Would you like to come here? Are you happy to see me like this? If your beloved is only to laugh at me, then go!!" said Renata ketus.

Devano smiled, he sat down before Renata and just the table as a barrier between them.

"You should be happy because I still care about you. I know no one will visit you in this place. Because your only family is also being held in this place."

Renata looked away, fed up with every word that was spoken on Devano's lips.

"What by staying here can change the figure of Renata? I think you've been knocked. Em, listen, you're gonna be here forever, aren't you?"

"Shut your mouth, Devano. If you came just to mess with my mind, you better get out of here."

"So you kicked me out? I was planning to help you get out of here" he said. Suddenly Renata held him back after hearing Devano's words a few seconds ago.

Devano looked at his ex-wife. Even the look on Renata's face had changed like a rabbit. His face was very similar to a wolf. Of course because Renata was tempted by Devano's speech earlier.

"What did you say seriously? Can you help me get out of here?" rennata asked to make sure his hearing was not wrong.

Devano ignored Renata's question, he just left. Of course Renata was angry, even he shouted at Devano's name. While the one in teriaki his name pretended to be deaf.

Police officers brought him back into the cell. Renata is getting upset because it is like being played by Devano.

Either Devano's offer was serious or joking. The man still holds a grudge against his ex-wife and her former in-laws. All this time he didn't show it. He always acts relaxed as if giving all the actions of Renata and Retno to him.

The man stopped when police officers brought Renata back inside. 

"This is just the beginning of your karma, Renata. This is just a punishment from Vey and Davin for you. Even I haven't had time to punish you.I also want to take my share to punish you. You know what it's like to fall and try to bounce back from zero. It hurts, and I want you and your mom to feel it too."

Devano smiled, but his smile could not be interpreted. Like there was a grudge from the look in his eyes. The handsome man stepped out of the police station.
