Chapter 12's

Sarah and Vey were shocked, Davin looked at the two with a sharp gaze, as if wanting to pounce on them alive. Vey looked calm, but Sarah looked terrified.

"You, come with me now!!" davin's orders to Vey.

Davin just walked away from Vey. Vey soon caught up with Davin who had just entered the elevator in a hurry.

"Where are we going, sir?" ask Vey. Today, there are no scheduled meetings or meetings with outside clients.

"Shut up and follow me wherever I go!!"

Vey smiled after finishing her husband's tie. Then he turned his face away, as the elevator doors began to open. I don't know where Davin's gonna take him. He was taken to the hotel and Vey also resigned. Even better and easier for her to tease her husband.

Vey threw away his silly thoughts. Maybe her husband took her to the hotel. The Davin is not the Davin he used to be.

The two of them entered the ready-made car in front of the office lobby. Davin and Vey are alone. Vey was still wondering in her mind, her husband was going to take her where.

On the way they just kept quiet, until Davin was the one who opened the chat. "Do you have a lover?" ask Davin suddenly.

Vey was immediately surprised by her husband's question. "has no. What sir. Davin wants to shoot me?" I don't know why Vey could suddenly ask that. Davin immediately smiled obliquely, seeing the confidence of his secretary.

"Wake up, don't dream! I'm just asking. You know the rules in the company? banned from dating fellow office co-workers."

Vey scrunched his forehead, from where there was such a rule. All this time though he never visited his office. She had never heard of the rules like her husband had just said.

"I don't know, sir. Is there such a rule?" ask Vey curious.

"I'll give you such a rule soon. So you have to understand your limits to being a secretary. I know, you always try to tease me" Davin said. His eyes remained focused on the road ahead of him.

"So you're tempted by me, sir? Don't tell me you're not tempted" Vey said, hoping her husband would be tempted.

"I'm a man who has a fiancee. So keep your limits, you're just the secretary, nothing more" Davin asserted.

Vey just smiled wryly, hearing her husband's words. Renata again and Renata again, making Vey's head feel like breaking. Where should she get an antidote from the potion that Renata gave her husband.

"I won't tempt you, sir. But don't blame me if one day you're tempted by me" he said, turning his face away from the car window.

It didn't take long for them to get to their destination. It turns out that Davin took her to a Japanese restaurant she had visited before.

"So sir. Davin invited me to lunch together" Vey said with a teasing smile. Davin just responded with deheman.

They immediately entered a Japanese restaurant that was inside the mall. A servant approached them both.

"Unagi-no-kabayaki!!" say both at the same time when the waiter is about to record their order.

Davin and Vey look at each other, especially Davin was surprised because Vey ordered the same menu with him.

"You like Unagi-no-kabayaki too?" ask Davin. Vey nodded.

"Unagi-no-kabayaki is my favorite Japanese food, sir!!" Vey. She could guess the way her husband thought at this moment. Vey deliberately likened her menu so that her husband remembered their moments first.

But for nothing, Davin remained relaxed and considered it just a coincidence. Maybe Vey should add to his stock of patience. Sometimes she forgets, her husband is still amnesiac and under the influence of the drug Renata.

They sit in the same chair. They both don't look like their bosses and secretaries. Like a couple having lunch together. In reality, they are both husband and wife couples.

"Sir. Davins. You also have lunch here. It's good to see you again!!" greet a well-dressed man, who also seems to be a ceo.

"Good day sir. Devano. Please join us, here there is still an empty bench," Vey bargained, distracting Devano.

Devano smiled as well as feeling unfamiliar with Vey. The beautiful woman he just saw what else was with Davin. His eyes were still on Vey. Davin who saw it also felt less like, if the secretary was glimpsed by another man.

"Thank you, miss. You?" devano said he was about to ask, but Vey who knew his point immediately introduced himself.

"Include me Vey, new secretary sir. Davin," said Vey with a very sweet smile. Devano, who saw Vey for the first time, was fascinated.

Davin cleared his throat, breaking Devano's gaze which was still watching Vey's pretty face. Vey gave a smile, it seemed like her husband was jealous of her.

"My message just saw. Turns out your secretary is new again, sir. Davin," said Devano makes Davin feel uncomfortable with all his questions.

"Sir. Devano wants what message? We both ordered Unagi-no-kabayaki. What sir. Devano also wants to equalize the order with us?" ask Vey politely. She deliberately notices Devano to make her husband jealous of her.

"Can. Just look at what they ordered!!" devano said to the waiter.

"Sir. Davin didn't try to eat sashimi? I like it a lot, sir," asked Devano. 

Davin began to open his mouth in response to Devano's question. But lost quickly with Vey who had answered him first.

"Sorry sir. Devano. Sir. Davin has a raw food allergy" Vey says, leaving Davin and Devano staring in surprise at Vey. 

"Wah-wah. Looks like you know a lot about things you like and dislike sir. Davin, miss Vey?" ask Devano. Vey who was just aware of his words also condemned his stupidity.

Vey glanced at her husband who was looking at her. It was as if Davin wanted to ask her something.

Obviously Vey knows everything about her husband. What her husband likes, what makes him allergic. They have been married for a long time, even before they also dated long enough. No wonder Vey knew so much about her husband.

"I just wanted to talk, sir. Isn't that so sir. Davin?" ask Vey.

"But what you said is true. I'm allergic to raw food" Davin said later.

The dishes are on the table. They started to enjoy the menu they ordered. But suddenly Devano's speech made Davin put back his food.

"Did Miss Vey have a boyfriend? Looks like you fit in with sir. Davin is a widower" said Devano. Vey immediately choked after hearing Devano's remarks saying her husband was a widower.

So everyone thought Davin was a widower. It's not just Sarah who says the same thing. Even Devano who is an outsider says her husband is a widower.

"I already have a candidate sir, Devano. You better not take care of my personal affairs," Davin said in a tone.

Vey looked at her husband. Her chest felt tight, her husband completely wiped himself from her heart and mind. Vey was unable to hold back her tears anymore.

"Excuse me, I'm going to the toilet for a second!!" said reasoned.

Devano looked at Vey's strange girly. He caught something stuck between Vey and Davin. Her curiosity made her want to know more. He smiles, and will find out about Davin and his new secretary.

Inside the toilet, Vey wiped away her tears. The tightness in his chest made his tears continue to flow. He took a deep breath, to increase the air supply in his lungs. 

Taking the powder in his briefcase, a thin sweep of the powder he was carrying would cover his scars. After feeling his face was refreshed. Vey forced himself to smile and return to his original seat.

Devano was not a stupid man, he was too sensitive looking at Vey's expression. You could say he was an expression expert. She knew, Vey had just cried, clearly visible from the expression of his face even though it had been covered with makeup.

They also returned to their offices. In the car, Vey was silent. His eyes focused on the road in front of him. Without him noticing, Danvin was watching him.

Soon the car they were riding in arrived at the office. Vey left Davin. While Davin gave the car keys to the security guard to park it into place.

Davin follows Vey's steps which can still be pursued. Vey looks rushed, Davin also speed up his steps.

"Vey," call Davin, make Vey's move stop.

"Yes, sir!!" answer Vey then.

Davin got into the same elevator as Vey. His gaze stared questioningly at Vey.

"Where do you know I'm allergic to raw food?" ask Davin, make Vey die of fleas.
