Chapter 3

Vey followed wherever his feet led him. Until he got to the bottom of his brother's apartment which was not far from the house he had just visited.

Her tears had dried up, but she cried again when she remembered her husband's face. No matter how hard he held back, his heart was still broken. 

"Lord, this is the toughest test of my life. But please give me the strength to be strong to face all the trials of you."

Vey kept sobbing until her eyes were red and dry. The pain in his heart made his entire body also feel his pain. It was like something invisible was piercing his heart and it was very painful.

A brief happiness with her husband who lives memories. Which woman will be able to accept the reality if another woman snatches her beloved husband. Vey continued to cry, still foreshadowing her husband's change in attitude towards her.

Vey saw Davin turn her back before Vey left her house. Vey stared at the back of her husband who was walking back upstairs.

Vey continued to cry, until she was unaware that her brother had returned. Bagas panicked to see his sister crying. He was confused about what happened to his sister.

"Vey. Tell me why are you crying? Who made you cry?" Ask the worried Bagas.

Vey looked up at her face, looking at her brother who was watching her. Vey immediately stood scattered into Bagas' arms.

"What's going on? Why are you crying, Vey?" Ask Bagas again.

Before telling her everything that happened to her. Vey apologized to his brother first. Because when her brother went to the office, Vey quietly went to see her husband. Sontak Bagas was surprised and then checked the condition of his sister afraid that someone was injured.

"They didn't hurt me physically, brother! What they hurt was my heart" he said, followed by sobs that could not be held back.

Bagas hugged his sister tighter, trying to calm her down. He knew it was hard for his sister. But whatever the power, it's all happening. Bagas regretted his brother who was too rash. He should have waited for Bagas to accompany him there.

"Sister. I promised I'd help, didn't I?"

Vey asked her brother for help, of course her brother would help her. Bagas loved Vey very much and wanted his sister back as happy as ever. His mother is gone, his father is overrun by his stepmother. Vey's the only family he's gonna take care of and he's fighting for.

"I want to apply to be a secretary at my company. What do you think, brother? Can you help me get in easily?"

Vey expressed a desire to apply to become a secretary at Wing Corporation. Sontak Bagas made him wonder about the intentions of his sister. Why Vey had to apply to be a secretary, even though he was a voter of the company. Vey's stock is bigger than her husband's.

"Why don't you just take over the company, Vey? Why be a secretary?" Tanya Bagas was not out of thought with his sister's will. Vey wiped her tears then she smiled looking at her brother. 

"If being a secretary can get me close to my husband, then what's wrong, brother? I can also keep an eye on my husband and my assets in that company, right?" 

"It's also the only way. Given the current state of Mas Davin. He doesn't believe everything I say that I'm his wife. By being a secretary, I could meet my husband every day. I can meet or even go on a business trip alone with my husband, right?"

"When will you start your plan?" Ask Bagas make sure. After all he would be behind his sister to always protect Vey.
