“Ndan, if I may ask, I would like to be assigned a distant place and not come back here!”

Colonel Teguh let go of his embrace, “forever you remain I consider as my own son!” colonel Teguh held both of my shoulders.

A thin drizzle accompanied the steps as I exited the building. The dark sky is ready to shed its grace for all nature. 

“Ta, where are you?” I asked from behind the phone.

“You came home from campus, but it was raining so it was still shady on the road.”

“Wait, I'll pick you up!”

Lita was already seen on the edge of a shop, I was out carrying a jacket to cover my head, it was raining very hard. “Come, come with me!” I shaded my head and Lita's head in a jacket towards the car door.

“Thank you Sir!” lita said after we got in the car.

“So sweet” Lita clasps her hands next to her right cheek.

I smiled, happy to see the happiness in his eyes. These moments will not last long, must be a beautiful and unforgettable memory.

“Pak, when was the last test?” ask Lita suddenly.

“Often, if again the exercise continues to rain, the exercise is still running even though the rain is drizzling or heavy. Why?”

“I haven't tested in a long time. Excitement time yak!”

“You want to test now?” I glanced at the girl beside me. Lita's eyes sparkle while nodding, “bapak follow also yes!”

Then my car pulled over near a park, the sound of thunder and occasional lightning to each other made Lita hesitate. I got out of the car first, staring at the sky that was pouring rain. Lita ran up to me, then stood behind me, “angit can you put down a handsome man who can make me happy?” Lita screamed at the sky while closing her eyes, her hands tightly shut in front of her chest.

I whispered in his ear, “doamu got granted, open your eyes!” I gave my best smile. Lita blushed in shame.

“I ask a handsome man, why is the Father here?” ledek.

My eyes widen, “kalo I do not enter handsome criteria, you want to find which kayak again?”

Lita stuck out her tongue and ran, ngeledek nih son, use all running events. Lita ran and took cover under a tree, “chase me Sir!”

Ah, easy. I ran towards him, but due to being overzealous and lack of caution, my legs slipped and fell in a puddle. We laughed together, “the universe does not approve Father catch me!” 

I tried to catch his hand, but because it was wet his hand slipped from my grasp. We ran for a chase in the park under heavy rain. Some small traders in the shade laughed and cheered one of us if he fell because he slipped. 

It was getting dark, the rain showed no sign of stopping, it was still as heavy as it was. 

“Pak, I have a science of disappearing you know!” lita said after being tired of running around.

“Oh yes? Try proving!” my challenge.

Lita sat cross-legged, her hands clutched in front of her chest, and her mouth was muttering a mantra. Finished reciting the spell, Lita rubbed her entire body with both hands. “I am now gone Sir, let's find me until I can!”

Ah, there's-there's just. I pretended not to see it, both my hands tried to reach here and there looking for it, “Lita where are you?”

Lita shifted position so that her body could not reach, Lita laughed cheerfully as if winning.

I continued the search, still pretending not to see it, turned over the tree branch, uncovered the swing in the garden to look for it.

“Lita, don't go first. Our game is not finished!” 

Lita stood in front of me, waving her hands in front of my face, but I still pretended not to see her.

“Lita, come. Back here, it's not night yet, we still have a lot of time together!” I stood in the middle of the park.

Lita hugged me from behind, “I'm here sir! Stay here with me forever. I know you're going a long way, but I don't expect that to happen. Stay here with me Sir! Lita tightened her embrace on my chest and placed her face on my shoulder. I held Lita's hands together. “Sorry I have to go, may not come back.”

“Gak Sir! You can't go,” Lita let go of her embrace, I turned around to face her.

“Thank you for everything you have given me, I love you!” my right hand stroked her smooth left cheek.

Lita's left hand caught my right hand, then kissed it.

“I go to work yes!” Lita shook her head, her eyes glazed over, “Father can't go!”

“If we are a match, we will definitely meet later. Never worry about the future! my left hand stroked her hair wet from the rain and pulled her into a hug.
