Police also said the individual did not take the child to a nearby police station because no reports were received.

Police also lost track of the individual because of lack of CCTV at the scene, lack of information and no witnesses who saw the two-year-old child such as the characteristics of Safwa Haya.

The case was not resolved and the police decided to close the case because there was no development.
