59. Third Day Research

This morning I was forbidden my friends to go alone to Mako Pomal. Hendrik has taken all my men to drive there. Starting from mess they picked me up. On the road I was escorted by several cars and motorcycles, very crowded. Not only my men, some of Dimas' men from platoon two also took his commander to be questioned as witnesses.

At the Mako Pomal parking lot, I gathered all the men.

"Everybody gather here, sit down!" I commanded them, they sat on the grass of the green field.

"Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi. Thanks to my friends for bringing me here. I greatly appreciate the support and enthusiasm of my friends in this investigation process. This investigation process was carried out to determine my involvement in the case of the disappearance of Dr. Utami. Hopefully Utami's doctor will be found safe soon, and the abductee will be arrested soon. Once again, I would like to say a big thank you to everyone present here. My appeal, after I entered Mako, the friends immediately disbanded in an orderly manner. Billiahi taufik walhidayah wassalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh." I finished a few words this morning that were greeted by applause and yel-yel our pride. Some people saluted and shook hands.

"Long live Commander, live Commander!" the members shouted loudly followed by other yel-yel. 

I don't know since when Lita was here, she also shouted in encouragement to me.

Me, Dimas, Handoko, Tikno and Danu lined up and walked up the Mako stairs. Before entering we turned towards the members. Seen Suryo running with Lita following us. Oh yeah, Lita got checked too.

After Lita marched parallel to us, we waved at the members then went inside Mako.

Arriving at the guard, we were separated by the escort of each pomal, then taken to a different room.

Just like yesterday, my examination was done in a marathon manner, I was able to answer all the questions well. It's obvious that I'm not involved in Utami's disappearance.

Until late afternoon, finally the examination was stopped. For the next time, I was asked to report twice a week to Mako Pomal until the investigation was completed.

Arriving in front of the building, the atmosphere was crowded, even more crowded than this morning. Yel-yel loudly voiced, the sense of haru creeping all over the body. A member crouched down in front of me, I was asked to ride on his shoulder, then I climbed onto his shoulder. I was greeted with great fanfare, some pomal men standing guard over this crowd. The enthusiasm of the members in giving support and enthusiasm had made my eyes teary.

When I got to the middle of the members, I came down from the shoulders of the members who had been carrying me. Everyone is fighting to greet me. 

"Thank you guys, I'm proud of you all for this support and passion!" I shouted, followed by yel-yel who never stopped. From here I noticed, all my men were present to pick up, from platoon one and two were also present, some of Suryo's men from taifib were also present.

"There is something I want to say, please sit down during the delivery of a few words from me!" I screamed for everyone to hear. They sat around me at the ceremony.

"Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi. Thank God today's examination is over. Once again I made it clear that I was not involved in the Utami doctor kidnapping case!" my words were then greeted with boisterous and shouts of support for me.

"We are all equally hopeful that Dr. Utami will be found safe soon" I shouted.

"Amiin!" answer members simultaneously.

"Since today's investigation process has ended, let's go home. My appeal, all members go home in an orderly manner!"

The boisterous sounds of all the members led me into the car. 

The motorcade of vehicles like this morning was even more crowded.

In the car I asked Hendrik, "Handoko, which other Tikno?"

"They've been home since this afternoon, their inspection was not long like the commander! The question is, is that all? Not nanyain Lita?" ledek Hendrik's.

I smiled as I elbowed him, "have the boy come home?"

"Already dong, I deliver directly to the boarding, then transfer to campus."

"That's very complete!" i laugh.

"Hurry up he said, ask to be escorted to campus, afraid of being late to walk."

"Good, thank you!" I pat Hendrik's arm.

Hendrik nodded and smiled.

"In mess we prepare Ndan roasted chicken" said Hendrik.

"Oh yeah? Eating big means yes! I can't believe it, today was amazing. Touched me."

"This is all we can give Ndan!" 

At exactly nine in the evening, Hendrik disbanded the members. There are only a few leting friends who are still in love with the examination today.

"So what's our move for Utami?" I asked my friends.

"We hold on first, don't be rash. The authorities are looking" Suryo replied.

"Yes, Mama. It's a good thing you've been released" Dimas said.

"It's been disappointed I'm still hoping for Ndan!" added Hendrik.

"So the story is still waiting for the doctor Ndan? Same with Lita. If you already know dandan and also later can look beautiful really!" said Frans.

"Not that, just pity Utami. Don't know if he's safe now, don't you!" I said.

"It's hard to talk to people who have a hard time moving on!" sela Erwin was greeted with another laugh.

"This is why we're late for marriage!" ledek Hendrik's.

After all the friends came home, I threw all the weight on the bed. Calling Lita was the first thing I did. The phone rang but was not picked up. Maybe he's asleep. After a while Lita made a video call, I sat against a new wall picking up her phone, "hello sir Imam," said cheerfully while sleeping with very minimal lighting, I squinted at her behavior, "why sir?" ask Lita without sin.

"You called the commander in his dimly-lit sleep!"

"Can't you sir?"

"I'm not polite, I'll take your call while sitting down!"

"Oh, yes. Just a minute."

Lita turned on the lights so the atmosphere was brighter, then she sat leaning against the wall like me.

"Well, there are manners that must be done when communicating."

"Ready Commander," Lita flashed a smile while saluting.

"Where was the examination?"

"Secure under control sir, I was also a selfie the same as you sir! That's cool, those guys,"

"What do selfies do investigators do?"

"Create proof to the lecturer, if I wasn't truant, but there are things to do."

"Thank you!"

"Sama-sama Sir, uh this morning was very cool father, you know, paraded with so many soldiers, told to sit directly on a seat. Mr. lecture on dengerin. Father's talk is also cool, very authoritative."

"Grammy? Am I justad?"

"Eh, what is it? Welcome huh? What orders?"

"Well, let's not say a lecture."

Lita shut her mouth holding back laughter.

"You didn't see the afternoon, when I came out of Mako. The atmosphere was more lively, which welcomed me more than I had this morning. It's a dinner in mess just finished."

"Well, is there a meal, sir? How am I not invited?"

"Are you sure you want to be one woman in a company?"

"No sir, I want to be the only woman that you have in your heart."
