28. Chasing Utami

Several times I called Utami's number but it wasn't picked up.

‘Honey, please pick up my phone.’

‘I'm sorry ya.’

‘Tomorrow morning I pick up ya.’

 The message I sent was double-checked but not read despite being labeled online. Never mind, tomorrow morning I'll pick him up. ‘Good sleep baby, dream me yes.’ 

Usually if the girl is angry again it does not want to be approached, but still ask for attention. May it be a beautiful sunny tomorrow, Utami is not angry anymore.

That morning the sky began to show a red light, I rushed with the iron horse to the boarding house Utami. The gatekeeper seemed to be a little sleepy when he opened the door for me.

“Good morning, Sir. I want to pick up doctor Utami.” I asked the gatekeeper for permission.

The gatekeeper rubbed his eyes a few times. “Doctor Utami moved last night, he was picked up by a car last night. I help to clean up the goods until late at night.”

I was very surprised, “who picked him up?”

“I don't know, but the father has been here. The car is alphard leter N,” the gatekeeper replied.

“Alphard car from Malang?” I made sure again.

“Iya, if not mistaken the father was here with the parents of doctor Utami.” The gatekeeper added again.

“The father himself?”

“No, there's a driver. Every time he brought his own driver. The driver was waiting here with me. But last night I was asked to help pack the things of doctor Utami, wanted to move he said. All the goods have been transported, there are some goods left, he said to be taken next time. What is clear Utami doctor said move, do not live or work in Surabaya again.”

I called Utami's number but it wasn't connected, my message last night was blue, but the number is now out of touch. “What doctor Utami left another number to call?” ask the gatekeeper.

“The usual number is sir, don't change!” the gatekeeper pulled out his phone and checked Utami's number, “gak active sir, may be out of battery. Last night packing things until late, three o'clock new night finished.”

I freaked out, is it true what Utami said yesterday about Dr. Aaron? Who he is, how influential he is to the life of Utami and her family. What business did his parents do to support Aaron's doctor?

The sky is starting to light, I have to lead the apple this morning. Maybe some day I will catch up to Malang. If it is not wrong his house is in the Kepanjen area, hopefully later he can be contacted again. But maybe I'll check Utami into the hospital, whether she's still on the staff or has resigned. I wish what the gatekeeper said was a lie. Utami only went home briefly to his parents' house, back here tomorrow again. Utami please don't leave me.

Until Saturday I could not leave Surabaya because of the busy training schedule that I had to guide. Every day I tried to call Utami's number but never active, I also told Utami's boarding gatekeeper to let me know if Utami came to the boarding house, but Utami also never once came to the boarding house. Some of his remaining items were dikosan when they will be restored considering the period of Utami's room rental is still several months ahead.

When the sun was emitting its rays, I drove to the apple city. May luck side with me today. At Kepanjen's number I searched the city, wondering where the clinic of Aaron's doctor was. Until finally a crowded clinic called residents as a clinic owned by Harun's doctor. Doctor Aaron is apparently a pretty famous man. When I asked about Aaron's wife or doctor's spouse, they were thanks to the fact that Aaron's doctor did not have a wife yet, his future wife was still in medical school in Surabaya. Not wrong again, his future wife who is still in college must be Utami. 

I have an idea to try to go to the clinic, “ada who can be helped?” ask a registration staff. 

“I want treatment, who are the doctors who prakter today?” my many.

“There is doctor Devina, doctor Yahya and doctor Utami. For the teeth there was the doctor Moses. Would you like some general medicine or teeth?” ask the staff again.

“General medicine, can choose to doctor Utami?” I am so happy to hear Utami's name.

“Bby, please fill up the following form!” the staff gave me a piece of paper and I immediately filled in the necessary personal data. About Utami realized that when she called my name, I was smiling to myself.

I waited in front of the polyclinic that the staff called Utami prakter. The other two polyclinic chambers had the name of the doctor, but the room I was waiting for had no doctor. Some of the queues in front of me were called nurses, until finally my name was called. Don't be asked how it feels, like years of holding back longing, joy, anxiety, happiness mixed into one. I entered the room, the cold crept to the nape.

“What's the complaint?” tanya Utami looked at the patient data on my behalf. “Please ditensi!” Utami ordered the nurse to check my blood pressure.

“I miss you so much doc, the pain is here!” I pointed to the chest.

“120/80 doc,” the nurse said to Utami.

“Good, please wait for the medicine in the pharmacy.” Very short of his words, he also did not turn his head towards me.

“Utami, please don't stay away from me. I'm here to pick you up. Come back with me to Surabaya!” my door.

“Next patient!” Utami ignored my words.

The nurse in this room looked confused, looking at me and Utami. 

“I came here to look for you, baby. Don't be angry again, I'm sorry. I promise I won't repeat.” I tried to grab Utami's hand, but Utami immediately pulled her hand from the table.

“Please call the next patient,” Utami says louder.

“Good, please wait for the medicine in the pharmacy.” The nurse opened the door and called a name to be examined in the doctor's office. 

“I will not leave this room until you answer my words Utami!”

The patient called by name had already entered the examination room, but I was reluctant to leave the room.

“Good, I will stay here, serve here and will soon marry Doctor Aaron. Please leave this room!” utami ketus.

“Utami, please listen to me!” I hope for Utami's mercy.

“I am carrying out the task, new patient has come, please take the medicine in the pharmacy, or I will call the security team!”

I looked at Utami and again ignored, forced to die empty. I really didn't expect Utami to be like this, her words were cold. Well then, I'll wait for you to finish today's practice at the back door.

Shortly waiting at the back door, a clinic security officer came up to me, “sorry, are you Mr Imam?” tanyakanya.

“Iya, right.”

“Doctor Utami left me a message for you,” said the security officer.

“Tell him, I will not leave this place before my affair with doctor Utami is finished!”

“This does not allow sir, doctor Utami promised to contact you and meet outside.”

“I can't believe, I'll wait for him here.”

“Doctor Utami is the new doctor here, please do not spoil his career here.”

“I'm just waiting for him here, after finishing business with him I will leave this place. But if Utami dodges, then I will chase him until I can. Tell her that!”

“I'll pass that message on to doctor Aaron!” snapped the security guard and left me alone at the back door of Utami's practice room.

Time has shown Utami at 13:10 out the door I was waiting for.

“Utami, I need a minute!” I approached Utami.

“There can I help?” a voice from behind made me look, Utami then ran for cover towards the back of the person who said that.
