Just Help

After Brother Iyash kicked me out, I chose to go home. I'm sure Mama will come after me with a lot of questions about the man.

“Assalamualaikum,” I said as I entered the house. My mother's answer sounded slow.

“Loh, why are you home?” ask Mama when she comes out of the room where she sells online. I designed the room to look instagramable.

“Cha?” Mama caught up with. “Why go home?”

“Icha tired, Ma.”

“There also you break.”

“Ngak,” reject me fast. “Icha saddled with keeping that nyebelin guy. Mama remember?” I paused to see Mama's expression.

“Cha, he's here to protect you too. You forgot?” Mama imitated my tone.

“Icha will never forget, but why is Icha there? He asked Icha to come home.”

“Icha ...” Mama said my name in a long tone. “You're patient dong.”

“Propay for what?”

“The mother told Mama what really happened to Iyash. He wasn't like this, Cha.”

“Icha don't care.” A second later I left.

“Cha,” shouted Mama annoyed. “Icha, ih. You are this.”

I stared at the door of the room while staring downstairs. It looks like my mom is busy calling. My heart slipped as Mama reported to Aunt Ira that I left the hospital and left Iyash alone.

“Ma.” I took a few steps forward. “Why didn't Mama tell me that it was actually Brother Iyash who asked me to leave? Ih.”

“Iya-iya,” says Mama.

I'm getting into the room. It doesn't matter if you tell Aunt Ira or not. It's up to the two women to believe who.

Hhhhhh ….

I threw my body into bed. It felt free to be separated from the arrogant man. For what I was there, he didn't appreciate me. It sucks!

Last night he looked good at wrestling. I admit he's great, naturally, he's free to be arrogant or not. I can't deny, he's handsome, rich, powerful and a fighting man. Maybe that's what makes him feel on top.

Uhh! I want to see when I think of him. Such a man should not be praised, which is growing.

“Icha ... Icha, here Mama wants to talk.”

I covered my ears with a pillow. Moments later I heard a knock on the door.

“Cha, no guests.”

I'm stunned.

“Says she's Edgar's mother.”

“Hah?” I got up and walked to the front door. “Where?” I asked after opening the door.

“Under.”

I was leaving immediately while Mama walked behind me. “Edgar the–”

“Iya, his nephew Om Ben,” my review truncated Mama's question.

“Cha, I think we should talk about Aunt Mila's intentions.”

I turned to look at Mama. “Iya, later, Ma. Poor Mother waiting under.”

“Mother?”

“Iya.” I'm back walking. Mama might be surprised to see me excited like this.

“Bun?” I approached.

“Cha...” Aunt Miranti smiled gently. “Your house is good, convenient.”

I smiled back while sitting down. “Mother is healthy?”

Aunt Miranti shook her head. “Mother would be fine if Edgar were here.” He then grabbed both my hands. “Please take him home, Cha.”

I cringe.

“Bring him back on Aunt.”

“Icha ...”

“Please, Cha, he's the only one Mother has in this world.”

I looked at Mama who was sitting on the other sofa that was still at the table with us. Mama's face doesn't seem to like seeing Aunt Miranti here, for whatever reason I can clearly see her.

I let out a breath. While Aunt Miranti directly reached for the bag. “This.” He gave me a yellow envelope. “You go to Surabaya, here make the fare.”

“Tante, Icha–” I turn to Mama again.

Mama shook her head while smiling, but I saw that Mama's smile was too imposing. “Iya, but that does not mean you can use Icha.”

“I know, Ma'am. But, for now only Icha can help.”

“Ma, Icha will go to Surabaya.”

“Icha, you haven't got Mama.” permission

“Ma, just like Mama has Icha, Mommy also only has Kak Edgar.”

Mama sighed and was silent for a few seconds.

“Ma, just a day Icha promise.”

“Ya already.”

I smile. Then I looked at the relieved face of Aunt Miranti.

“Thank you.”

“Sama-sama. I'm happy to help Mother with Brother Edgar.”

Aunt Miranti smiled.

“When do I leave?” many doubt.

“If now? Can, ‘kan? Mommy will take you to the airport.”

I looked directly at Mama, after last night's incident, I didn't want to go without her blessing, I was afraid something would happen again, let alone my trip now going by plane.

“Faster is better, Cha, so that the business is quickly finished,” said Mama.

I don't think anything else, other than Mama's saying there's a point. Although, I heard that the word “oran” that Mama said just now contains a bad context. Mama should replace the word with “problem”, “so that the problem quickly finishes”. Maybe that sounds better.

“Then Icha get ready first.” I'm rising. “Excuse.” Then go to the room. Arriving at my most comfortable place, I quickly changed clothes, fortunately had a bath in the hospital, so I could prepare faster.

I'll have one change dress stel and one sleepwear stel. I don't like to wear pajamas, I prefer to wear loose shirts with shorts. I also included some of my personal needs and I also did not forget to bring a wallet with its contents. Although Aunt Miranti will give me money, I still have to bring my own provisions.

After I finished preparing, I immediately returned to the living room.

“Begini? You don't have a suitcase?” ask Aunt Miranti.

I smiled dryly. "It was just last night, wasn't it, Bund?"

"You sure?" ask Aunt Miranti.

"When in doubt why ask Icha to go after Edgar?"

"No, Ma'am. I asked Icha's luggage, is there nothing left?"

“Icha to there not for holiday, ‘kan?” ask Mama. "Any stuff is enough. He used to go out of town without bringing in a lot of baarangs."

"Yes," said Aunt Miranti. "Then we leave.” Aunt Miranti then walked first. While I followed him from behind.

At the door I hugged and I shook hands with Mama. While Aunt Miranti was waiting for me in the car after saying goodbye to Mama.

“After everything is done. Stay away from that family,” whispered Mama as I hugged her. “Mama does not want you to be just a tool for their benefit.”

“Mama just misunderstood,” I said while taking off a hug. “They can't be like that, Ma.”

“Know where you are? Not a month ago you knew them.”

Mama's right, not even two of you yet, but I'm sure they're not like that, especially Aunt Miranti. Mama may be just worried, my fault is because I never told you about Brother Edgar, Mama only heard a cursory from Aunt Mila.

“Mama pray Icha. Hopefully Icha can take Brother Edgar home.”

“Edgar want to go home or not, it is not entirely your responsibility.”

“But, it is now the responsibility of Icha.”

“That's because Miranti charges it just like you. Should have been if he had a problem with his son. He finished it himself.”

“Icha just wanted to help them, Ma.” If I continue to oppose Mama, maybe this conversation will get longer.

Mama took a breath. “Yes already Mama pray, may Allah protect you on the way and you can return here safely.”

“Aamiin.” I'm nodding.

“Edgar's business wants to go home or not, that's beyond your responsibility. You can't force it.”

I sighed while nodding back.

“Cautious.”

“Assalamualaikum.”

“Waalaikumsalam.” I'll leave immediately and catch Aunt Miranti in her car. Once in the car, I lowered the glass, then waved at Mama.
