Exactly at ten, we arrived at a place with ample parking space, there were many luxury cars lined up there. Ellen got off my bike.

“Here is the place?” I'm not sure.

“Iya.”

I spread the view. I see not a single bit of this place is worth a company to say. It's exactly like a secondhand dump.

“El, I'm serious about it, what is it?”

Ellen smiled instead. “Here you do not need to be tired, no one will anger you if you are wrong. Here we work as we please.”

“What do you mean?”

“Udah, you must be at home.” He pulled my hand.

“El, I'll be home.”

“Don't do that, you've come a long way here, time doesn't come in.”

“El, but–” I dragged my feet and followed Ellen from behind.

Ellen took off her old ash jacket. He showed off his curves and smooth legs. From the parking lot to the entrance so far away. However, we did not use the front door, Ellen instead invited me in from the back door. He then kept his things in the locker.

“I try to get you to work here.”

Suddenly I changed my mind. I couldn't possibly join the nightworld, as Ellen did, even though I didn't know what kind of work Ellen was doing.

I still follow him up the stairs. I could've run away from here without having to know what's really going on, but it's like a surprise and it makes me curious.

Ellen opened the door and stepped in, while I stared where I stood. Ellen smiled at me.

“Nothing, I've been working here a long time.”

“Since when?”

“At my age seventeen years.”

I wet my throat. “I'm a scholar, El.”

“I know, but your diploma, your degree, is of no use here. All we know is we'll get money.”

“Halal, ‘kan?” My forehead frowned.

Ellen looked at me for a long time. “Come. Cha.”

“El, I think I–”

I couldn't hold Ellen's hand. He was already waving at a man in a suit and looking neat.

“Pi, this is my friend.” Ellen approached and grabbed my shoulder. “He again needs work. Can't you accept him here?”

Heart's sniffing. The man held my shoulder, then twisted my body.

“Beautiful, the body is good, just need to be dressed a little.”

“Ah, that's easy,” kekeh Ellen. “Later to teach her to make up. So, how?”

My heart is beating fast. As soon as I remembered Mama, she must have been waiting for me in the living room with the dim light of the lamp. I can't imagine how I feel right now.

“El, I'm coming home, Mama is waiting for me at home.” When I turned around, someone pulled my hand.

I saw the man's heavy hands holding me back.

“You sure? In Jakarta find a hard job.”

I have heard that phrase too often.

“Difficult, does not mean there are no halal jobs.”

The man chuckled. He then turned to Ellen, then sat down on the long sofa by the door. “Sweetheart, you don't know what your job is here?”

“I'm confused what to explain, Papi.”

“Begin ya–” The man held back his sentence, then looked at Ellen and asked about my name.

“Marissa.”

The man smiled. “Try here sit.” He patted the chair next to him and asked me to sit down.

I keep staring at the door.

“Here, every night there will be one champion, every champion will give twenty percent of his income and we pay our employees with that money. As for the bonus they got it was one hundred percent theirs.”

I honestly don't understand what that guy Ellen called Papi meant.

“I'm not working here,” I said quickly.

“Why, Cha? Not yet seen, the time has given up.”

Looking at Ellen's performance, I'm pretty sure that her work here isn't right.

“You enter, Mr. Bima is waiting, he will not win without you. Let your friend Papi take care of it,” said the man.

I cringe. My mind is no longer here. “Excuse.” I turned around, but as I was about to step the man held my hand back.

“You can't leave as easily as you decided to come here.”

“But I have no business here. I just drove Ellen.”

“I trust Ellen more. He said you came to find a job.”

“But I don't want to work in a place like this.”

The man laughed as he threw his body onto the sofa. I don't think anymore, maybe this is my chance to run.

As much as I could get out of there, I ran as fast as I could. However, their people were already standing in front of the gate.

“What do you want?” tanyaku.

“Bos Marlo forbid you leave before you meet him.”

I spread the view. There were at least five large-bodied people standing in my footsteps.

“Come with.” One of them pulled my hand. However, I brushed it aside and immediately raised my legs until it hit his stomach. They don't know that I'm not as weak as they think. I have always been equipped with martial arts.

After Papa's departure, there's not much I can do. I only live together with Mama, if not me who takes care of Mama then who?

“I've met your boss, why else would I meet the old man?” I started kicking one of them.

“Do not have much to say. Come join.” Another man was about to drag me. However, I hit them again, threw one fist, raised my legs until they landed on their stomachs. I don't think my strength is comparable, I don't think they're weak either, but I know they're just giving up.

“Stop!” I snapped when one of them pulled me back. “Tell your bosses, if you dare, face me here, right now or I report your illegal business.”

They're sculpting. Without thinking any more I immediately darted away with my bike. However, they just chased me. I saw three bikes in the back.

I kept turning the gas until I felt like I was flying. But they managed to catch up with me.

"Stop!" yell at one of them. "Boss we just want to meet."

I didn't care about that line and just kept going as fast as I could until they were out of sight. After quite a distance, I slowed down the speed of my vehicle. Suddenly one of their bikes stopped in front of me.

I pressed the brakes as soon as possible before the collision. Before long the others were on my right and left. I just found out they're using a shortcut.

I got off the bike and opened the helmet. I made that helmet a weapon to attack them.

"We don't want to be rude because the boss asks you not to be scuffed at all, so we're asking you to meet with our boss."

I fell silent and stopped attacking. Suddenly, a car stopped in front of us and the two men held my right and left hands.

I screamed as loud as I could, hoping a rider would pass by and help me. “Please!”

They dragged me into the car. “Ngak!” my peek.

“Come, login!”

I tried to fight them back, but their grip and defense were so strong.

“Please!” I shouted once more.

Suddenly I heard a blow, until the motorbike of the big-bodied man fell and dragged quite far.

We turned to a man in a brown leather jacket who was slowly descending and coming towards us.

Without orders or instructions. The helmeted man directly attacked them one by one. I was amazed at how happy the man was.

The two men who were holding onto me immediately released me and immediately retaliated against the attack of the helmeted man.

I could not stay silent and immediately helped him fight the five men, until all five fell. They then ran and darted away on their bikes.

The helmeted hero walked away without seeing me.

“Still, Mas,” I shouted as I sighed and put both hands into my hoodie bag. I felt a piece of paper tucked inside my pocket. There's a letter with a capital letter there, “Call the police, I'm not strong.”

“Mas,” call me to the man.

However, when the man turned his head, I suddenly felt a pungent medicinal scent right in front of my nose, slowly my vision blurred, and I could not remember anything else.
